Terrible Service and Unfair Charges!

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this hotel. The day before an important meeting, I tried calling over 20 times, sent multiple emails, and even messaged the hotel, all in an attempt to book a meeting room. No one ever answered! I was left with no choice but to book the room in person upon arrival.

When I finally got to the hotel, the receptionist informed me the cost would be €120, but that I needed to book the following morning. However, when I returned the next day to confirm the booking, the other receptionist told me it would actually cost €187. Despite explaining my numerous attempts to reach them the day before and being told to book the room in the morning, nothing was done to honor the original price I was quoted.

This is completely unacceptable! If they never intend to charge €120 because it’s impossible to contact them unless you’re physically there, just say it’s €187 from the start. I feel deceived and am very dissatisfied with this experience. Avoid this hotel if you expect any level of reliable customer service!

I am so overly disappointed with Motel One! We have stayed for over a week and spent thousands of pounds for very poor service and attitude from most staff especially at reception. We didn’t have the rubbish in our bin emptied and it piled so much had to take it out on the terrace. Kept on getting new towels added but old ones not taken.. also had pillowcases on the floor after the room was “cleaned”. On top of all that proceeding to check out we were treated with such disregard and disrespect it was awful. After asking our luggage to be taken away we were just told “she is there wait for her” then all receptionists started checking other people and one of the receptionists were so rude in telling us that we can wait. I don’t think it’s right I wait for everyone else when we came on time to do it all and have been asked to wait around not even offered a seat or be polite about it. So rude.. never again! If you want to have a good time in Berlin do not stay at Motel One hauptbahmhof..
also took random passports for the rooms so when I misplaced my key they wouldn’t give me a key to the room as my name was on the other room as they didn’t care who is staying where as we checked in.. appalling!!

Hotel reception not hospitable and rude. My room was not done 2 days in a row and when I asked reception for service they said there is no housekeeping in the hotel. The room is beyond basic, no water, no kettle, no iron, no tissues. I complained about the AC not cooling, the receptionist said “open the windows”. I would never come back here.
