Strength: Great location and pretty outlook of the hotel building. Rooms are spacious and quiet.
Weakness: Room maintenance is not up to expectations. Customer service was poor - from booking to check-in, to issue reporting, we had to repeat our requests a few times to make sure that they were taken care of. I felt that the money paid to the room did not worth it.
Until the quality of customer service is improved, I would not recommend my friends or relatives to this hotel.

Super clean. Tiny spa in basement. I upgraded the room for 16eur, and received 40m river view a great room.
And room was ready at 12pm, free early check in.

Service not good, even without the mindset that it is a 4 star hotel. Staff at the reception kept repeating some specific words in German, and he even is not aware of that, which makes the guests who speaks English felt very confused. Free bottle of water for only one night (or is this a culture in Germany? Why?).
All in all, if the price is good, book here, if you want it to be delightful, I don't really think so. They (yes, several of them) sound pretty arrogant and don't want to spend one more minute with you.

Brilliant hotel. Wonderful location overlooking Spree. Facilities excellent. Friendly service. Comfortable rooms. Lovely menu and food. I will definitely come back if returning to Berlin.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2024. My favorite aspect of the hotel was a wonderful bartender, Miranda. She is so nice and accommodating, she recommended a wonderful gin to me, and I loved talking to her. Thank you, Miranda! The front desk staff is also great and very helpful.
Berlin was very warm, and the room was very warm. It ostensibly had air conditioning, but the room remained uncomfortably warm. We asked for and were given a fan, and when we put it in front of the open window overnight, it was okay, but then there were lots of bugs in the room.
The lobby and outside furniture are comfortable for hanging out, and I met other guests who were fun to talk to. We would probably stay here again, especially when the weather is cooler.

Stayed four nights at the Ameron, and we were overall very happy with our stay! The rooms are super spacious and well air-conditioned. We had a view of the river, which never got old. The area surrounding the hotel is quiet and cozy and we ended up spending way more time sitting by the river having dinner or drinks at the hotel restaurant than we ever do normally on vacations, just a super nice area. Please note that there’s no minibar in the room, which was fine by us but the one time we attempted to purchase some cold drinks to bring to the room was a bit funny, the staff acted as if they’ve never had that request before 😅 in the summer heat in Berlin I think the hotel could make a killing from selling cold bottled water/soda pops. Luckily there’s a grocery store, albeit an expensive one, right next door.

A really nice hotel with beautiful views out of rooms and great breakfast, even with champagne and a cook for eggs. Rooms with air conditioning. There is also a sauna for free. About 15 minutes from the S-Bahn Station. I highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel it is the perfect location for getting to any major destinations as it is so close to the local station. The staff were friendly and helpful with anything we needed and the room was always clean and tidy when we returned . The addition of a fresh bottle of water to the room was a nice and appreciated touch. The restaurant downstairs is a bit pricy but other than that we thought our stay was excellent value.
