Budget hotel. It works for the price - however no A/C, subpar location, and 11 euros per person for breakfast kills it. Bar/restaraunt wasn't open the night we stayed. Parking costs 5 euro, and it is a locked garage - however parking on streets are free and apparently easy to find.

Nice hotel. A bit far from the center, but having in mind the excellent public transport infrastructure in Germany, it's not a big deal. Worth the price!

The hotel is very easy to reach from Neustadt bahnhof (just a 200-300 metres) and still an easy, walkable distance to the city center. My room was spacious and comfortable; well, I did miss a coffee/teamaker. The bed was very comfortable too. It wasn't noisy although my windows were facing the street The breakfast was lovely too!

The front of the hotel faces a very busy street. The rooms facing the parking place in backyard are shielded from the street noise and really quite. The guests are charged extra for the parking. The interior is beautiful. Rooms are spacious. Many restaurants are in about 5min waking distance.

Price - performance with rice rgutschein fits. Staff is friendly, room and bathroom clean.With the S-Bahn, bus stop directly in front of the Hotel one is fast in the city center. At about 30 degrees in the non air-conditioned rooms it is not relaxed, unfortunately, since all of 10 minutes keeps the train on the main arterial road.

It's a very cozy hotel that tries to be outstanding by service. And they do. The rooms are a bit old style but in perfect shape and super clean. The breakfast is amazing, food and service.

Went there with very low expectations like those you have when you got to a DJH Jugendherberge, but was totally taken by surprise when I saw the amazing rooms, which were very big, modern and comfortable. The breakfast is not so good and there’s not so much to choose from. And you pay 13.5 euro for it. You can definitely get much better breakfast for cheaper price outside in bakeries. The shower in the room was broken during our stay and the temperature changes from one moment to another. I almost got burnt by the early morning shower.

Attended a family wedding at the sorgenfrei. The food, wine and service were exceptional. Indeed the best food I've ever had at a wedding. Classy surroundings and the gardens and terrace are beautiful. Highly recommended.

A truly fantastic location, big rooms and well equipped bathrooms. The grounds are amazing with lawns, water features, plants etc. The resturant/bar served amazing food and drink and the staff were all really polite and friendly. Could not have asked for a better place to stay and would recommend to anyone to stay here and if visiting dresden again we will be booking here again for our stay.

Villa Sorgenfrei is really not primarily a hotel. It's a restaurant - the Atelier Sanssouci - which I have reviewed with top notch points separately. A no-brainer near the airport, it's ideal for construction workers, city breaks, or business trips. Good bus connections. Parking is a bit difficult, but manageable or available for a fee. A bit run-down, but clean and OK for the price.

The place is pretty close to the airport and can be a good place for an overnight stay. The tram station is close by and there are trams plying till late night to the city centre.The breakfast served is cheap and good but lacks variety. It is suggested to ask for a room which has a window facing the rear end of the hotel to avoid noises of late night traffic and trams.

This hotel is so good, the location is not the best but with the tram ( right outside) you can reach it from the City Center in 15 min. The rooms spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. Hotel is located 20mins from old town. There is bus stop just outside the building as well as free parking. Hotel accepts dogs with additional fee 10€ per day. There are not many shops or bars/restaurants close to the hotel. Room was clear and beds are really comfortable, however there is a little too dark in both main room and bathroom.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and were happy with our choice. The hotel is circa 15 minutes from the centre of Dresden via street tram. The tram stop is a maximum 2 minutes walk from the hotel entrance. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was very good and varied. The staff were both helpful and friendly. For our next trip to Dresden we will try to book this hotel again.

The decor is very modest, but despite this the climatic environment surrounded by greenery and tranquility. On site free Parking and the hotel from the tram stop share just three steps. The old town of Dresden is only two steps away (one to two steps away, which is about 5 minutes by tram). Just right for the holiday weekend.

For a short stay completely ok, if you don't want to shower later that night, still pleasantly warm, because you can freshen up after a cold but beautiful new years eve night and want to heat up.
