Great small family hotel with a panoramic view of Dresden. Unfortunately only until the end of 2018. Then the company will expand and, at first glance, in a not so quiet, rural and romantic area in Bannewitz. Doesn't matter for now, though, in terms of the current rating. Really nice and quiet here. A bit remote. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our wedding guests with 2 small children, for whom I booked the room, were super excited. Top price performance!

The country hotel is super quiet and a bit off the beaten track, making it ideal for families with small children. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is very clean and the breakfast is completely sufficient. So all in all great and I would love to come back

Very nice country hotel, in a quiet cul-de-SAC. Beautiful views over meadows and the cows from the large terrace. Clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a very good Breakfast buffet. Something for everyone. Parking in front of the house. Price/performance is right. :-)

Friendly personal service at this family owned hotel. Reservation easily made by email with no advance payment requirement in my case. Everyone most helpful, good quality breakfasts, excellent standard of accommodation and surprisingly modest pricing. They even presented me with a gift of their home made marmalade when I left. I would certainly book the Arteshof if I visit Dresden again

Very nice place, old style but classy! There is an electric vehicle charging station which was a nice addition. The rooms have no AC, which is why I deducted one star. Otherwise, a very nice place.

Rooms were spacious and very well maintained. I had breakfast every morning here and loved the scrambled eggs. The staff was friendly and cheerful.

Very friendly staff at the reception. Also, Frühstücksfee" attentive and always seeking it lacks the guests at nothing. Bannewitz hotel is located in quaint Dresden suburbs, just 11 km from the city. It was perfect for a short stay to relax after all the fun we had at the city Christmas Fair. The place is fully renovated and was just beautifully decorated for Christmas which definitely helped us to get into the spirit. The lady at the reception was wonderfully helpfull and kind. It is obvious she's doing very hard...

PERFECT again and again! Very clean, great, very friendly and competent team. I keep coming back, unfortunately very often booked out well in advance. If you have time in the morning, you can also have a royal breakfast, which is also recommended. A rating with a guarantee for travelers who do not want to do experiments.

Was there at the flea market organized by the hotel and therefore only briefly in the breakfast room. But it made a very neat, clean impression on me. I also got to know the operator of the hotel. They were very engaging and polite.

Rooms are dated but BIG and CLEAN. Our room even had a balcony. Also had a very nice wardrobe to put clothes with one side for hanging items and the other with shelves. We stayed here for two nights so we usually wouldn't unpack our suitcases, but we did this time because of how much space there was in the room and wardrobe! Also, breakfast was fully stocked and would constantly be refilled if something...

The rooms are clean but my bed is much too soft. You could have a hammock to sleep as much as I am by hung. The whole night was the toilet flushing. On the instructions of the defects during the payment, I was just staring at her irritated... The Breakfast buffet is rich and it is refilled. Way to train is short.

Everything was very good: the hotel has a great location, our family suite was very spacious, a great view of the square from the window. The hotel has a parking lot, which is convenient when you travel by car and stay in the center. Breakfast at Vapiano is a bit poor, but there are many cafes nearby. Overall, I recommend this hotel for a holiday or a business trip to Dresden.

We stayed here to tour the city along with all it's wonderful Christmas markets bustling with goods, drinks and food. This hotel offered everything we needed at a great price! Perfectly located, very nice staff, great views of the city, parking, restaurant, and close proximity to landmarks. We parked the car in the garage offered by the hotel (reserve in advance) and were able to walk everywhere...

Nice room, nice breakfast, but I couldn't use HDMI-ports on TV for my chromecast due to some old hotel-OS, and there was only 2 english channels (CNN and BBC World)

The location was convenient to many restaurants and sites. The hotel was also helpful in helping to book taxis in advance.

The rooms practically furnished. The hotel is located on a hill, not so far from the center and therefore Dresden and Radebeul are at your feet with the view... Restaurant is right next door, with a fantastic kitchen.

We stayed here on our bike tour and felt very comfortable! It's a great hotel, friendly, everyone is really committed and helpful, with excellent service and a friendly atmosphere! The food and, of course, the beer were delicious; we enjoyed everything. We'd be happy to come back!

We have family living round the corner from this hotel and we have stayed here on 3 occasions over christmas time. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant is great for authentic honest german food and we have never had a bad meal from here.

We loved this hotel. So cozy, clean, comfortable and good food on the restaurant. Staff also great. We asked for a quiet room and we stayed on the last floor and had a nice night of sleep. Bathroom includes all amenities. Strongly recommend when in Dresden.

Very enjoyable meals. Very helpful, experienced waitress. Pleasant garden to sit outside. Very helpful regarding gluten-free meals. Good beer included Köstritzer ‘Dunkel’. We went three times. We were staying at the campsite at Mockritz. Easy 15-20 minute walk through pleasant area. (Sunday can be busy so reserve in advance for a Sunday evening.)

A very lovely hotel with beautiful interior, located in a pretty neighbourhood. It is a bit far from the downtown, but a tram stop is very close, so it doesn't take long to get to the city sights. As most hotels, it is not soundproofed in the best way, but anyway I enjoyed the time there a lot. The staff is very friendly.

Very friendly service and comfy beds. A little further out from the center but you have an amazing view downtown from the main road next to the hotel. Also there are 3 castles in the nearby park. Some vegetarian or vegan breakfast options would be a plus.

Well-visited tourist restaurant, directly on the Elbe, the price-to-performance ratio in order, solid food, friendly staff.

Leckeres Essen, netter Service sowie ein tolles entspanntes Ambiente. Ob während einer Fahrradtour oder am Ende eines Spazierganges, die Elbterasse Wachwitz ist auf jeden Fall ein halt Wert.

Cheap but clean hotel on the Dresden periphery with good access to local transport. Sufficient for one or two nights. The nearest restaurant is cca 1km. Good breakfast, helpful staff. The price / performance ratio is OK.

Booked in the car late at night on the drive there. The man stayed open till after 10pm because we rang him to allow us to check in. Room was very clean as was the shared bathroom. Breakfast was nice would have like some warm options.

Friendly staff. The rooms were slightly dated, but we had free parking and breakfast. It's an ideal bed and breakfast stay when you want to explore Dresden or its vicinity by car on a city trip.

this accommodation is very suitable for a multi-day visit to the city of Dresden. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the nearest tram stop is not far away, within 15 minutes downtown. The hosts are welcoming and you can tell they want you to be comfortable. I would love to visit the Dresdener Höhe again.

Purely. Very good access to the center even at night no. 11. There was no parking lot because it was under renovation, but you could park for free at the weekend in front of the school. Breakfast tasty.

One of the cheapest place in Dresden. The basic breakfast costs 9€. The rooms are clean, however, the noises from other rooms can be heard very much and this is why I gave only 4 stars. Outside is very nice garden.

I had a wonderful time in Dresden. Pension Dresdner Höhe is a convenient hotel - far from the center, but close to the tram stop from where you can catch line 11, which can take almost anywhere in the city.

It is very nice there.Very quiet and very nice people who keep a good Breakfast ready. With the train you can quickly reach the city.

The rooms are worn out. The carpets are old. The beds are only made briefly every two days, nothing else.

Overall good Overall, the room was a bit dated, but it was clean, albeit rather small, especially in the bathroom. The stains on the hallway carpet don't indicate recent soiling, but rather indicate that it could use some renovation. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, making the stay pleasant.

We had a great experience staying at the Amelia Hotel. The hotel sits in the heart of old town and very close to all the major sites we wanted to see. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and a welcome start for each days exploring. Clean rooms, pet-friendly, good breakfast, nice wiev (Elbe river is nearby). Unfortunately, due to the hot season and room orientation was very warm

Overall very pleasant experience. Clean nice rooms, friendly service, good breakfast. I would definitely go here again. The only thing is that staff speaks poor english, so it was a bit hard to communicate, but despite that we still understood each other. 7/10

The hotel is located on a very busy street. Sleeping with the window open is not possible. The hotel is still far from the center of Dresden.

An Amazing Stay! We had an incredible stay! The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff members were incredibly kind and helpful (especially Alex who worked the front desk), and we loved having an amazing restaurant inside of the hotel. A huge highlight for the kids were the free drinks available and multi-color light options for our room. I couldn’t recommend this location more.

Our stay is overall great. We had a very convenient accomodation. We would like to stay again here if we will come back someday in Dresden.

It’s in the quiet outskirts of Dresden. There’s not much around the immediate vicinity, but there’s a bus stop right at the corner that will get you to city center quickly. I was in town to attend several concerts, and the bathtub was lovely to soak in after being on my feet all day.

The room was clean and refurnished, although we didn’t have fridge neither safety box in our room. But the quality was good. It was in center. For breakfast there was a line for coffee as it was crowded.

It was cozy and what I mean is it’s not a huge property. I did not like that the breakfast cost was not complimentary.

Staff nice but why 2 single duvets on a double bed? Food at breakfast was so so. Edit, to reply to their reply, if i book a double bed then that includes a double duvet. why would anyone want 2 single duvets?????? its just lazy, even if it is super common in germany

The room was perfectly fine. The lady at the reception was actually off duty, saw me, and checked me in. At the last minute. Thank you so much for that. Everything else worked. Great snack machine for the evening. Parking for a Sprinter van or van is a bit tricky.

Very nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Easily accessible by tram 7 or 8 from main station Dresden. Breakfast was very good and our stay was very nice.

The hotel is new, nice and clean. It's a little far from Altstadt, you have to walk to the tram and take the tram (either 7 or 8) to the center. The room was almost double charged than usual because of the holiday. Very dissapointed to find out that no breakfast was offered for that high price and you had to pay 25 Euro to walk to the adjacent hotel and have breakfast there. There was a small kitchenette...

Simple hotel. Clean rooms. The breakfast is very good, although it is located in the adjacent hotel. You need to walk outside 20m between the two hotels. For a fee, you can use the sauna, fitness and the swimming pool in the adjacent hotel. Tram line 7/8 is about 8min walk. There is a bust stop just outside the hotel.

The hotel is truly fantastic – very clean, with a hearty breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location in Dresden Neustadt is ideal, with many sights and nightlife options nearby. I highly recommend the hotel!

I slept well though paper walls . My room with double bed was quite small. Toilet sitting position is impossible for obese people. Shower was ok with leak . There is a fridge and safe in the room. Weird paint on one of the walls was not good idea. Before dark ok but after dark with lights on it looks dirty (which is not) like in a cellar. Breakfast was ok, pancakes were highlight. We stayed at the hotel for one night on a city trip. The receptionist was super nice, the room was unusually large, very clean and the beds were very comfortable! What more could you want...? We didn't book breakfast so we can't rate it.

Hotel with strengths and weaknesses. Strength: very spacious room (at least the one I received), very friendly staff, cleanliness ok. Weak points: location (the hotel is not very central), almost non-existent corridor lighting (I understand that we are in an energy saving era but the hotel corridors were really dark), attention to detail that needs to be reviewed (when I arrived the shower was missing...

Loved our stay. Quiet, pleasant house tucked into the suburbs, with gardens and comfortable ensuite room. The house even has a tower - how cool is that?! Kitchen and dining rooms are large and well-stocked. Easy train ride from central city and close to supermarkets and takeaways. Very friendly owner. Wifi a little bit unreliable. Would have like to see the fox - maybe next time.

Location is great, staff are expremely helpful. We arrived early because our train got in 2 hours early but we were still able to get our apartment. The apartment was beautiful, well thought out and really good quality. Great bed, lovely bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and a nice inner courtyard. Lockers where you can store your bags if you have a late departure.

Visit to Dresden for Christmas. Enjoyed the markets, the local cultural sites were wonderful and the service everywhere was quite excellent. I would recommend this location and in particular the Hapimag facility to anyone.

Top facility, prime location, almost directly at the Frauenkirche and the Neumarkt. Great cozy apartment with all the comfort you want. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'd love to come back soon!
