Leonardo Hotel Altstadt

Really nice hotel ! Went to watch a competition at the Stadium. Great beds, friendly staff, clean room and a nice breakfast.
Nothing to fancy but if you are looking for a nice hotel and have a great sleep, I can only recommend !

Room is clean and quiet with good soundproofing -- it is right next to the train station but sleep is not affected especially if window is closed.
Staff are polite and helpful.
Next to Mitte station also means extra convenience, eg taking day trips out.

Room is well equipped and is of decent size, with enough space for a couch.

Option for not having rooms cleaned is available, to support sustainable tourism.

Am happy to return to this hotel in future if the daily rate remains competitive.

A beautiful hotel with great value for dollar. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is conveniently located in Dresden Mitte. The rooms are modern, clean, bright and very comfortable. I highly recommend booking an extended stay.

Had an odd experience - my flight was late so wasn’t able to check in until around midnight and was absolutely exhausted. But the check in was incredibly seamless and it was done so quick. They were so sweet checking me in and I even had to tell them I’ve never checked into a hotel quicker!

The next morning was a completely difference experience as I was checking out. I asked about how to get to the airport and the lady serving just spoke immensely quickly. She told me I could take a train and then proceeded to not give me directions. But luckily we all have phones so I could just google maps. But then I decided I’ll just take a taxi to save the stress and asked if she could call me one. Which she did. Then I asked if they accepted card payments (I didn’t have any cash). She just said “I don’t know. You’d have to ask the driver”. That was such an odd response because if the taxi driver came and said he didn’t accept card payments what was I going to do in that moment? So I asked again and she said “I don’t know - it was just a button I pressed”. What? I think she meant calling a taxi was not an actual call she had to make but just a button she pressed. It just felt like she didn’t want to help. So in that moment I decided I’ll just walk to the train station wherever that was. Luckily Google maps said it was right around the corner.

Surely your immediate response to a guest is to make sure they’re okay before sending them out.

It was such a pleasant stay in a beautiful room, great view, great service from the night staff. And then the morning interaction seemed unnecessarily stressful.

I usually never write reviews, but my experience at the hotel was special that I am making an exception. The lady from the restaurand service truly stood out: she was professional, attentive, and knew exactly what she was doing.

Her knowledge of the menu and her ability to anticipate our needs made our dinner unforgettable. She served the dishes perfectly and ensured a smooth experience.

Thanks to the staff, and especially to this wonderful lady, for a fantastic evening!

Top hotel, in an ideal location. We were at an event in the exhibition halls and could easily get there on foot, as well as into the city center. It couldn't be better.
Bakery and Rewe directly opposite and the parking garage right next door.
The only drawback is the lack of power sockets in the rooms.
We had exactly 2, one of which was occupied by the hotel's own pad. And both were at the desk, which wasn't suitable for charging cell phones etc. overnight.
Otherwise everything was great

Very satisfied, the environment and location are very good, convenient to the scenic spot, I will stay here next time
