The person who was on the late night in the front desk (Thursday night) was awful, can tell that he hates his job as he was very rude.
He was also having a smoke at the very front of the building door (which is not allowed by law as it needs to be 5m away from the entrance of the building) him smoking also doesn't give a good first impression when you are arriving 1am and there is a grumpy guy smoking at the front building.
Room it self is as it says on the tin ,nothing special to call out. Towels were very rough they definitely seen better days.
Didn't try the breakfast , but why blow 20-24 euro when there is plenty of options in the center or the station with much more to offer.

The hotel is really not far from the central station. It was all clean and the room itself was really nice. Even got a free upgrade for a double room! Would go there again.

Nice location, and very central. Parking OK outside hotel, but better if planned inside.
Lift was a little rickety and showing its age.
Rooms were a good size, and very clean.
Breakfast, whilst busy, still had a good choice to pick from.

I was staying here previously in November 2019, so I was looking forward to another stay. The things that did change are:
1. no welcome message in the room for ALL Gold guests,
2. no welcome gift in the room for ALL Gold guests,
3. no complimentary newspapers at the ground floor
Otherwise, it's a very decent hotel, although rooms are rather tired.

The hotel's location is great, the suite I had was spacious and cosy. The key problem is the staff - I had quite an unpleasant check-in experience (twice, as I couldn't check in on the first attempt and had to leave and come later). When I finally checked in - I found in my room two mini-doughnuts as a welcome amenity - compare it with a bottle of wine and various sweet and savoury snacks in an Ibis in Hungary, for example). The conversation with the hotel manager on the next morning left me a bit puzzled - instead of looking into the issue or offering something to improve the experience (a drink/waive the parking fee/throw in a bunch of points/etc.) he just quite absent-mindedly thanked me for bringing it to his attention as if I was a nuisance, really. That said, the bartender was super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. I won't be surprised to hear the bar/restaurant has different management though.
To summarise - if I weren't Accor Gold staying in a suite, I wouldn't be disappointed. The staff problem is obvious and undermines the great potential this property has.

The hotel is located a 5 minute (0.4km/ 0.25mi) walk from Dusseldorf Hbf, so right in the heart of the city

Got to say this is in no way 4 star, so disappointed as I'm a member of all accor and book this group of hotels, the room has less in it than a prison cell ... Good points reception staff very good, free tea and coffee in reception, windows great as no outside noise... bad points internally noise in passage so loud keeps you up, internally the rooms are loud, we had kettle with nothing to make anything with.. (what's the point of kettle), our room. Had plumbing pipes left in it, put them outside after telling reception and there for days, had one large towel for 2 adults.. not the best but location good.. Will I return no not this hotel, shame as I use this group always.

Nice hotel, with an impressive stand of free drinks in the lobby (teas, nespresso pod machine and mulled wine!). It’s a great location and parking was easy underground (although parking cost €25 per day). Everything was clean, wifi worked well, and the bed was comfortable.
The only issue was that the room was painfully hot, even after we turned the heaters off. Also there was no fridge in the room to store drinks.

The hotel room we were allocated was absolutely excellent (we benefited from an upgrade) and included all the facilities you would expect, fridge, kettle, safe etc. The location, close to Duesseldorf's main station, was also perfect for us as we had arrived with the intention of doing day trips to other cities in the region. This worked out very well. More importantly the staff in the hotel were great. The reception team could not have done more to make us feel welcome and were helpful with all our questions and requests. The bar staff too were super and we enjoyed being able to relax in the bar with an Alt beer (or three).

The Hotel is located in a good location, close to central Station.
It has a tight car parking located at the back of the building.
Check in was ok, but main elevator was out of service. My room was just too small with very old furniture, and the bathroom even smaller.
The hotel is just super expensive, and really needs to be refreshed.
