Obermuhle 4*S Boutique Resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Long ago this location was a flour mill, now a luxury hotel and spa in Garmisch. Rooms were clean, bed firm. They have a small gym, and many spa services. The bar has a decent selection of spirits, wine and beer. There is a lovely walking path along the river.

Amazing hotel - it has everything one might need, location is beautiful, service is excellent, food is great at breakfast, lunch and especially dinner, spa offers sauna and inside/outside pools. We will definitely come again.

If I have to make one remark: there is only one booking option, which is full board. Since we were out hiking all day, we didn’t make use of the lunch. I asked if we could get a picnic instead, and while that was possible, it came with an extra charge rather than replacing the lunch. I wasn’t too happy about that, especially considering we had already paid quite a substantial amount for five days.

I had a great stay at this hotel, and the best part was that the room had proper air conditioning – a rare and much-appreciated feature in this region. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. I opted for the half-board option: the breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of options, while the lunch buffet was average in comparison.

The spa and wellness facilities were impressive – clean, well-maintained, and truly relaxing. The hotel is also very family-friendly, offering amenities like a small cinema room, billiards, PlayStation area, and more, making it a great choice for guests traveling with kids or teens.

From my experience staying in Garmisch, this hotel stands out as one of the best in terms of overall facilities. Most of the staff were friendly, helpful, and made the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended, especially for families or travelers looking for comfort and amenities.

It was a revitalizing Spa get away with activity possibilities in and outdoors. It offered great full board gourmet gastronomy, within outstanding hygienic conditions , nice rooms with terrace and great mountains view but among all, great service from all the staff in the hotel from the driver, throughout the sauna Rezeption, restaurant. Everyone is very well informed, and helpful.

If you can: take the Penthouse! It is awesome with a view, gives you all the amenities and your Private Sauna... Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, Pool warm, Sauna hot, dinner included and great! Perfect!

Great hotel. Comfortable room, super service. The Shuttle in any part of the city and back is included. Delicious and varied Breakfast.
