Description
A short drive from the Danube River and Ingolstadt’s city center, the NH Ingolstadt hotel shines with Bavarian hospitality. Formerly known as the NH Ambassador Ingolstadt, the hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from excellent outlet shopping at Ingolstadt Village, or a visit to the Bavarian Army Museum, Churches Maria-de-Victoria and Sankt Moritz. Klenze Park, the German Museum for the History of Medicine, and the Audi Forum are also nearby. Guests arriving into Ingolstadt train station or Munich International Airport can take public transport to the Kurt-Huber-Strasse bus stop, which is a few blocks from the hotel. The 119 rooms designed with dark wood furnishings and parquet floors offer rain effect showers, cloudlike mattresses and free pillow choice. All of the rooms are equipped with LCD TV and coffee and tea facilities. Our Maximilian restaurant serves international dishes and offers dining on its outdoor terrace in the summer and in its winter garden in colder months. NH Ingolstadt also hosts a diverse breakfast buffet with an assortment of meats, cheeses, and pastries. Maximillian and the hotel’s Oldie Bar also showcase an extensive list of Heimatwein. With 10 meeting rooms on site, we can arrange events for up to 140 guests. Our culinary and audio-visual staff can work with you to make your event run seamlessly.

I decided to stay here 2 nights as I was arriving late the first night.
Being a titanium member there are some things I have gotten used to at NH hotels, which this hotel did not deliver on.
Arriving past midnight, I entered the room and didn't find any complimentary water. Looking at the minibar prices, water cost 5 euros, I decided to drink from the tap. I think this is the first time during my years as titanium that there was no complimentary water sitting on the desk.
I then decided to have a shower before going to bed after a long day of travelling, to find that there was hardly any water pressure, it was frankly unacceptable. The water pressure did not improve during my 2 nights stay. I have found that the water pressure is an issue in most hotels lately.
The bed was however confortable and large, and I did get a good night's sleep. The room was also very clean.
However, I wouldn't stay here again when I'm travelling between Munich and Nüremberg, I would just stop and visit the town before heading onwards.
I do believe this could be a great hotel, they just have to improve the water pressure and the guest experience, it shouldn't be too difficult.
I recommend this hotel. The rooms are big and clean. Family hotel, luxury, good services, gentle staffs. Breakfast is rich with all kind of verities. It's a stone throw to the city center.
