Sheraton Carlton Nuernberg

Very nice hotel close to everything, including the main train station.

The staff here is fantastic and were awesome to work with.

Breakfast, room service, and lounge access were great.

Highly recommend for English speaking guests as well…but it’s Germany, most people we run into speak much better English than we speak German.

Late in posting this review as had stayed here in November 2023.
We were able to check in early which is a bonus.
The room was clean and spacious. Tub/shower combo which was great so that I could take a soak from all the walking we did.
Could not hear any other guests.
Hotel offers a mobile coffee/tea service in the morning. Someone comes around with a cart and goes room to room. Was not expecting that!
Hotel is walking distance to Nuremberg central station and old town.
There was construction on the street and there was a metal plate on the road that an be heard when cars drove over it night. Hopefully the construction is gone.

Great Hotel to stay in Nürnberg! Just 5 minutes from train station and walking distance to restaurants cafes and all the major touristic attractions. If you have car there is parking space just opposite. The staff was great! From front office to the restaurant and breakfast team. Loved the pool on the last floor with great views to the city and the sauna. For elite members who have club access although the club lounge actually don't operate fully u can enjoy happy hour buffet at the restaurant and wine. Great service really appreciated. Last but not least the breakfast was of high quality. I can surely recommend this hotel to everybody visiting Nürnberg!

Nice city hotel with central but quiet location in backstreet close to the train station. Rooms are spacious, clean and very quiet. Service is great and staff friendly. AC is a bit weak though. Breakfast buffet is very good.

In terms of this hotel in general it was okay. Service was good and everything was nice and clean. That being said, this hotel is definitely due for a renovation. The lobby and rooms do not match the five star rating that this hotel receives. For the price that I am paying per room, I expect a much newer and more modern room. All of this being said, the spa is truly what you pay for. The views from the spa on the top floor are AMAZING. I don’t know if there is another hotel that has a complete view of the entire city from the hot tub or pool or even sauna! The spa was extremely modern and recently underwent renovation. If you care about a nice spa, this is definitely the hotel for you.

Excellent location with friendly staff and impeccably clean facilities. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we were impressed with the quality of the crib and high chair provided. As Tripp Trapp high chair users at home, we appreciated the quality and familiarity. When we return to Nuremberg next time, the Sheraton will undoubtedly be our top choice. Additionally, the lounge offers a stunning view.

This Sheraton is the nicest that I have been in for a while. Very clean, extremely friendly staff throughout the entire hotel and very close to the train station and Old Town. The staff made our 3 night stay very enjoyable. The upgraded room that we got was very clean, big and quiet even though it was located close to the elevator. During our stay we did have time to use the fitness room. It was small, but had all of the equipment that we needed. As a Bonvoy titanium elite member I would highly recommend this hotel in Nuremberg.

Very good hotel close to the train station. We stayed at the Sheraton Carlton for two nights. The room was quite spacious for such a business hotel. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant in the first night. The food was good, the service excellent, only the prices a bit too expensive. The service in the hotel was really very good. The staff noticed that it is my birthday and send us a small sweet gesture. The hotel offer three parking options: outside for 18€/day, garage for 25€/day or public parking. Valet is available without any surcharge. We parked in the garage which worked well and can be accessed directly from the hotel elevator. They have a small gym with a cardio area and workout area. Works very good, although the floor could be tidier. They also have a small pool, which we didn't use. All in all a very good hotel close to the old town of Nuremberg.

Our recent stay at the Sheraton Carlton Hotel Nürnberg, booked for an Executive King Room with Concierge lounge access, offered a mixed bag of experiences.

While the room itself was spacious, the furniture seemed a bit dated, indicating signs of wear and tear. Nevertheless, the room was meticulously clean, providing a comfortable atmosphere for our stay.

One notable disappointment was the Concierge lounge access. Despite our expectations for a convenient and exclusive experience, we found it to be rather lackluster. Surprisingly, neither breakfast nor evening happy hour drinks were served in the lounge; instead, these services were relocated to the hotel’s restaurant, creating a somewhat inconvenient arrangement.

The lounge itself, aside from this organizational issue, was small and offered limited drink options—mostly coffee, water, and juices. This contrasted with our expectations, especially when compared to the more comprehensive offerings available in other hotel lounges.

On a positive note, the hotel’s location and overall service were commendable. The staff were courteous and responsive to our needs, contributing positively to our overall impression.

In summary, the Sheraton Carlton Hotel Nürnberg provided a comfortable stay, but the mismatch between our expectations for the Concierge lounge and the actual services offered was a notable downside. While the cleanliness of the room and the staff’s hospitality were highlights, we hope the hotel considers refining the lounge experience to align more closely with the expectations set for an Executive King Room with Concierge access.
