Boutique Hotel Atrium München in Munchen

We stayed at the Boutique Hotel Atrium while visiting Munich for the Christmas markets. While we appreciated the ambiance of the lobby and the location, the WiFi was very spotty and the fact that the 6th floor doesn’t reasonably allow an adult to stand up on one half of the room felt like an unacceptable room to provide or pay full price for.

We asked to change rooms on our first night and were told that there were none available and we should have checked in earlier or told them how tall we were in advance (5’11” and 6’3”). I feel that this should have been disclosed to us upon booking and we also stored our bags starting at ~11am so they had already seen us much earlier in the day to plan accordingly. Noting that the elevator also only goes to the 5th floor (so you must walk up a flight of stairs with your luggage to get to 6) and that the hotel also only provides air conditioning in the summer; with heat rising it was very warm on the 6th floor — I recommend if you stay here doing anything you can to not stay on the 6th floor.
