as always with motel one it offers one of the best value for money experiences at gorgeous places. here in front of the famous Nikolaikirche.

If you really don’t mind where you stay; if your desire for taste - in decor and food - is in the ‘take it or leave it’ category, then one night here is probably not going to cause your sensibilities too much disturbance. But… it’s another one of those hotels that use their space to the best of their advantage. Ie not much for you! Room are very small and equipped with the minimum of mod-cons though the bed was not uncomfortable! And there was hot and cold running water. Breakfast was very cramped and they had managed to remove the taste from the food (fruit especially). But one short night is acceptable - particularly as your eyes are closed for most of the time… .

A good, well stocked bar. Breakfast is continental, sadly none of the thinly sliced cheese on offer has any flavour, but the bread is good. The room was comfortable and you can open the window. The shower was very effective, too.

Stayed for four nights, August 2024, and couldn't fault it. It's a very good hotel right in the middle of Leipzig city centre. Clean rooms, good breakfast, lovely staff. Rooms are on the small side, basic, but who stays in them except to sleep. Go out to one of the very good bars or restaurants.

Tiny rooms with just barest necessities. Ours facing the noisy street. Breakfast was adequate but super crowded, for extra charge, and once we had to be in the bar for it. Parking (is partially validated) is a few blocks away. Besides the hotel itself, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting Leipzig, a wonderful city. We will look for a different hotel next time.

Great stay
Great location near to all sites and train station. Have stayed at Motel One many times in uk and was surprised to find no tea and coffee facilities in the room in Leipzig which would be my only negative.
We chose not to have the breakfast and found plenty of places nearby instead. Would stay again

Only had drinks. Great place. Calm atmosphere. Good value for money.

Nice location. Nice hotel. The room was just a bit small and no mini fridge and no option to make your own tea/coffee.
