Reviews
No tea/coffee machine.
Breakfast was just OK, not fancy.
Checkin was ok.
Only 2 elevators is way too few. Always a wait.
Parking is conveniebt, but expensive.
Location is great.
There should be better controls on who enters the hotel, however.
The reasons are as follows:
1. "No one was afraid, but no one was physically attacked."
2. Measures, and the front desk staff rudely refused to find out the facts. Such a light-hearted attitude makes people suspect that such violent incidents do not often occur in this hotel, and they will shirk responsibility.
3. There is no communication between the two waves of staff.
Specific situation:
And there will be no German. I was arranged at the end of the corridor farthest from the elevator. I checked in at 9:30 pm on the first day, and I heard a group of people rushing to the door of my room and punching and kicking my door non-stop for about half a minute. It feels like it may be kicked to pieces at any time, and they don't want to stop until the door is kicked to pieces. I just don't want to be hurt.
For 20 minutes No one answered the phone at 10:00 p.m. It was not even 10 p.m. for the 20 minutes when the phone was not connected. I was in great pain. I wondered if anyone was in the hotel, but the phone could not be connected. It was all German with automatic answers. Half an hour later, the staff helped me change the room and told the front desk to deal with the matter.
At 10 a.m. the next day, J* at the front desk changed her face when she heard my request. I explained the situation, but she didn't even comfort me. She only told me "It's impossible to help confirm the surveillance, no way" "You haven't received any harm" "What do you want me to do?" It was the staff last night who told me that I could come to confirm today. He asked me for his name and was willing to help me confirm the management's destruction and shirking of responsibility.
I felt terrified in the hotel, as if the hotel had no responsibility at all and I was looking for trouble. They told me that there were only two options, either check out or change rooms. There was not even any comfort, and even the attitude was good. I didn't think I had any problems.
I talked to the manager on Friday and promised the manager that I would confirm the surveillance on Monday and send me an email to explain the situation. However, so far, I have not received any explanation of the situation.
It was not easy to come to Berlin after taking a flight for more than ten hours from Asia. I came to this completely unfamiliar country and city with expectations, but I didn't expect to encounter such a thing on the first night. I was both scared and this hotel ruined my initial impression of all the good things in Berlin.
Is it because I was arranged in the room on the top floor that single women were seriously frightened after closing the door. These immediate coincidences made me worry whether I had been targeted for a long time.
And don't rush to perform first aid, then you'd better pray that a harassed patient does not have heart disease, otherwise there will be serious consequences and it is impossible to be rescued like me.
They make very inappropriate comments, after which they laugh it off as jokes, then they let you wait for 1 hour for drinks, and they don’t even bring them to you in the end.
..It was a soda & mineral water :) I left after one hour, I would not recommend anyone to go to this hotel’s bar, there are plenty of better options 3-5 mins away by foot.
Clean, modern rooms with a nice bar/restaurant.
I'll stay here again on my next Berlin trip.
