Good location. Staff is ok. Rooms are small and not very nice, but they are clean. Beds are comfortable. No fridge. No safe. Noisy ventilation system in the bathroom that cannot be turned off. Convenient garage. Too expensive for the quality but you pay for the good location.

Good location, near all points of interest. Easy walk to train station. Clean room, very nice snd friendly front desk host.

Reasonably comfortable hotel, walking distance to the Old Town and the Rhine river. Room was clean, bed was nice and firm but the pillows were too soft. Room was functional and had plenty of Windows for ventilation. Bathroom was a strange design but functional.

The Hotel is very central, close to a shopping center (Malakoff-Passage) and has very helpful staff.
I had left a laundry bag full of shirts at the hotel. This was sent to me immediately at the house's expense. The staff is also otherwise very helpful!
Elsewise it's very good value for money.The breakfast is quite nice, but nothing special.

If you don't have any other option (as in my case), you can choose this hotel.
Pretty hard to communicate in English. But they try.
The room is pretty small, but clean. The bathroom is very small, very uncomfortable to take a shower. The breakfast gives you very few options.
There is an underground parking, very expensive one.

This Christmas, my wife and I indulged in a delightful treat—a memorable stay at the Ibis Mainz hotel. The extensive breakfast options catered to every palate, and the impeccably clean and cozy rooms made our stay truly enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future. The staff, notably Mrs. Monica, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Being bilingual, we relished engaging conversations with her as she recommended places to visit and explore.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel, staff we met where warm and welcoming. Facilities at the hotel where clean and good. The only negative we experienced was the heat in the rooms and food that the air-conditioning wasn't adequate and that it seemed to be set to hot without the ability to set it to cool the room.

The ibis Mainz is directly located in the centre, great for exploring, shopping, or planning trips to your favourite venue.
Rooms are surprisingly spacious, well maintained and clean. Beds are comfy. Bathrooms are clean, well lit, well equipped. Well, aside from the typical cheap hairdryers. Floors are hardwood, not carpet, which is a huge plus.
What I find super, super pleasant, is that there is an extra door to the corridor, so noise from the corridor is shielded off really well.

The stay was perfect and comfortable with great friendly check in and morning greeting from all the staff even the maids had a smile. Elke the maid stood out great help with my child and made the stay even more comfortable. Thank you team 🙏 great stay
