Great hotel in a very quiet location. My room was clean and well-maintained. Hotel has a rooftop terrace and nice backyard. Availability of laundry makes your life easier. Although it is pretty far away from the city center, it provides a good value for money if you rent it for >10 days as they have special offers.

Extremely good value considering what you get. Stayed one month in a room with balcony and kitchen. Well equipped. (Beds are hard though, and noisy mid-night delivery to the bakery across the street is a thing. Not that bad if you close the window, but then you cook as there is no fan.)

It is perfectly splendid place. Very clean room with minimal design. There is a small kitchen with essential equipment. There isn’t AC. However we didn’t have any issues room temperature. They have very kindly staff. Our experience was absolutely enjoyable.

Very bad place with cleaning only after three days kitchen equipment not taken and cleaned at all. New towels full of yellow marks. No idea why it has a good rating on online web pages.

More of a small apartment than a room. Wad only here one night but a modern hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are clean and modern but this does mean they lack character, however for a business trip they are ideal. Cool Munich Olympia 70's games feeling. Great interior feeling from the time, well original decorated of course Corean sink, sliding doors, Japanese windows, dark wooden wardrobe, golden switcher and creme white walls etc. etc. Absolute Vintage you feel well designed 70's space you beam back in the time but with WiFi ;-) I had a corner apartment with balcony, absolutely vintage 70's boutique.

My experience in Derag Living hotel is a good one, the hotel staff is 100% professional, kind and in one word amazing! Also the rooms are clean, warm and it feels like home. One remark even though, it would be nice if you add a bread toaster in the breakfast room.

Large room, not recently renovated though. The whole building has an atmosphere of 30 years ago. Breakfast was decent, if you except the fact that it was impossible to make tea because the hot water was at best just lukewarm. Had to dial the code given for the free wifi every couple of hours, but when connected, it was fast.

All was good apart from having a room above a smoker. I couldn't open my balcony door until half past one in the morning as I had heavy smokers beneath me and all the smoke went right in my room when I tried to let in some air. An idea would be to place all smokers on the top floor. Just a thought.

Everything is fine if you don’t mind the noise. My room faces directly to the train station so there will be loud noise for sure. But I am out at day time and there r less trains at night time so it’s fine. For me more annoying is that there r some tables downstairs(maybe it’s a bar) and even though it’s weekday, people sitting there, chatting and laughing very loud, even now, 1:30 am.

We had a wonderful stay in our studio. The hotel is ideally located near public transportation and business. Our studio was fully equipped and so well decorated it felt being at home. Decent hotel but the rooms are weird. The couch also was broken in our room. The Derag Livinghotel on the viktuals market is much nicer place and location if you’re looking for a place to stay on a vacation in Munich.

Overall, it was a comfortable experience. However, there were amenities missing that a hotel of this quality shouldn't have had absent. There was no shampoo/conditioner (only an all-in-one body wash/soap), no coffee maker, and no safe. Most importantly, the room was cold all night, despite having the heater on.

The apartment is clean and practical. Very roomy for the number of guests you state. The kitchenette is rather tidy and limited so avoid major cooking. The only shortfall is the lack of a dryer but the washer is great!. The whole family is happy with the stay. The parking is little hard to imagine but once you are that it is easy to figure out! Nice quiet neighborhood. There are the church bells. They ring the number of the hour and 1 ring on the half hour. Decent enough shortstay apartments, reasonable prices (as long as you don't want to stay over around Oktoberfest ;-) )!

First off, service was excellent, from reception to cleaning staff! Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. However, the buildings are a bit old, corridors have a slight stuffy smell. WiFi isn't great, as some VoIP services are blocked. Only 2 washing machines for 3 buildings. Tokens for the washing machine must be bought at reception (3€ per wash). It's a great accommodation, with great facilities, gym, paid laundry, reception, heating, lift, kitchen, room service and much more. We had an AMAZING stay at the Maximilian hotel, as a family of four (with small toddlers). The staff was Ah-mazing and so accommodating to us and our kids. Got a double room; it's fairly spartan but comfortable. Shower is nice, staff is friendly and spoke excellent English. Only complaint is that the pillows are horrendous, and there's no overhead light in the room.

I stayed in the hotel one night and liked the simplicity of the room and the modern look of the toilet. Internet was free and with good speed rates. Bed was really confortable. I stayed at this place in 1999 for Oktoberfest and it was perfect. It's a block or so from an S-Bahn subway stop for all your Munich downtown visits, literally right across the street from the Oktoberfest fields, and the proprietor was great and the continental breakfast too. It closes early so don't stay out drinking until 2 a.m.

We came in late June and really appreciated the service while we were there. Check-in was very helpful sharing additional information and maps of the city. The staff at breakfast the next day were mindful if the line to the buffet area had more than 4 or 5 people. They would check and see if anyone needed a quick item they could get for us, like tea, coffee or sugar so we wouldn't have to wait....

Outstanding breakfast included with the room- this is probably the standout feature for me. Room itself comfortable enough. Like most hotels it doesn't have AC- but there were windows to open and a stand fan available. Location is very convenient for walking, with Sendlinger Tor stop nearby. My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. We stayed here for two nights in and loved it. We had a private room with private detached bathroom. Comfortable beds, spacious room that's extremely close to the central rail station which was perfect for us. Not a far walk from the Marienplatz and other famous sites. Would stay here again!

Good location, just seconds from the central station, bus tours, 15min walk to the old Town. Rooms are basic but clean. My husband and I asked for a room with a double bed but they only have 2 single beds put together and 2 single duvets, what a let down! Wi-Fi is pretty rubish as well. Had a great stay here. The only problem was there is no air con, and at the time we stayed the temperatures where in the 30's. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Having our own stove top and microwave with grill was very handy. Very close to everything, only 10minute walk to the Karlsplatz, and there's a tram station right outside.
