We were in Europe for just over 3 weeks and this hotel was by far the nicest and largest .The City Suite room was modern , clean and had a comfortable true king sized bed as well as a separate room with a sofa bed and kitchenette. The garden is lovely. There is alot of construction going on in the front and rear of the hotel which does take away from the beauty of the hotel but we were not disturbed at all by the noise . Linda at the front desk was always smiling and provided exceptional service above and beyond the call on duty. Thank you Linda and staff , hoping to visit Munich and the Maximilian again!

Very friendly and helpful assistance from the front office. Extremely clean and well kept rooms. Comfortable and quiet rooms even with construction nearby.

Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially on reception ( Aisha) and the lovely buffet staff. Cleanliness was superb, as was room comfort and there was a very pretty garden to look out on. Would definitely recommend.

We booked this hotel during Christmas time as a family of 5. booking experience was smooth, the extra instruction regarding directions from the subway was very detailed and thoughtful since there was a construction site just in front of the hotel. In the end it was simple finding the hotel, it was only 500m away from the Marienplatz.
Overall the hotel was super cozy and clean. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. I love the gym and the back garden.
To be honest I couldnt find any complaints about this hotel honestly. Recommend for couples or small family for optimal experience.

This hotel has a great location and the rooms are clean and spacious with complete facilities. The service staff are warm and considerate, and the breakfast is rich and varied. The overall stay experience is very comfortable and cost-effective. It is worth recommending.

Perfect location off a side street close to all the main areas of Munich. Very safe area. Nice big room. Clean! Super friendly staff. We had a room right across from the construction - so beware not ALL rooms have a garden view. However still perfectly quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again. Can’t beat the location and there are several delicious cafes/ coffee shops and restaurants all within 3 min walk.

We had a lovely recently renovated garden studio apartment. The hotel has a nice internal courtyard, complete with roses, a fountain and fairy lights at night. The perfect location close to everything you need in central Munich with the tram at the end of the street and a choice of various train stations plus the old town sites. An individual personally run hotel with excellent customer service and a fantastic gym. Highly recommended!

In a very good location, of course the construction across the street doesn’t look great but you don’t see it once you’re in the hotel. The rooms were good sized and modern and new and the little kitchenette was perfect. The €24 breakfast I thought it was a little pricey and each morning they offered to make us omelettes little did we know that was six euros extra. We didn’t find that out until we went to go check out.
One morning, we asked them to get us a cab at a certain time so we could make a tour. I don’t know what cab company they use, but the cab never showed up and we ended up having to run fast to get to a nearby taxi stand. Uber wasn’t responding either. We almost missed out tour. The outside garden is very nice. Josh made us coffees in the morning and he was super friendly and attentive.
