The townhouse are nicely renovated and spacious. Modern design and very clean. They provide great amenities.

A shout out to Arthur’s help with my luggage and superb hospitality- fixing a hot coffee when I checked in. He was so helpful to get me the iron and ironing board!

We loved this hotel! The staff members were great and accommodating. The rooms were cool (AC) and the location couldn't be any better. It was relatively quiet most of the time but that was hit or miss. Some nights we could open the windows with no noise and others it was quite noisy. But if we kept the windows shut there was no noise at all. As others have mentioned, there is a lot of construction but that is all over the city to be honest. And, most important, it wasn't loud at any unreasonable hour. Overall we loved our stay at this hotel and would stay again if we return!

We stayed in a studio with a toddler and the space worked well for our family. We were greeted enthusiastically, felt welcomed and able to ask questions in English. Check in was easy and the staff was great about getting our rental into their parking garage. The room was clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. The location was amazing for walkability and we were 2 minutes from the historic and super cool Hofbrauhaus. There was construction, but it didn't negatively impact our stay. Would recommend for sure.

We really liked this hotel.
Our group includes three generations (my parents and our kids) and it's work well for all of them. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are quite big.

We haven't heard any other guests so either we got lucky or the building is good at dampening sound. The doors are very sturdy so I think that's what's going on. Especially since we see other guests in the restaurant so there are clearly plenty of other folks here.

The restaurant breakfast is not included in the room rate. There isn't a lobby, just the restaurant. But the staff seems happy to let us sit in the glass-enclosed restaurant patio. We occasionally sat there for a quick break, game of cards, etc. The hydrangeas are in full bloom and the courtyard is very pretty.

Other recent reviews have mentioned construction noise. The hotel is adjacent to a site where a new apartment building is being constructed but we have then heard any noise during the evening or morning hours. I think it starts around 8:00 a.m.

The location is excellent. It's on a quiet street a few blocks from the main plaza of the old part of town (Marienplatz in the Altstadt).

We'd happily stay here again on any future trip to Munich.

We were in Europe for just over 3 weeks and this hotel was by far the nicest and largest .The City Suite room was modern , clean and had a comfortable true king sized bed as well as a separate room with a sofa bed and kitchenette. The garden is lovely. There is alot of construction going on in the front and rear of the hotel which does take away from the beauty of the hotel but we were not disturbed at all by the noise . Linda at the front desk was always smiling and provided exceptional service above and beyond the call on duty. Thank you Linda and staff , hoping to visit Munich and the Maximilian again!

Very friendly and helpful assistance from the front office. Extremely clean and well kept rooms. Comfortable and quiet rooms even with construction nearby.

The hotel is not big, low-key and exquisite, with good details, quiet and hygienic!

Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially on reception ( Aisha) and the lovely buffet staff. Cleanliness was superb, as was room comfort and there was a very pretty garden to look out on. Would definitely recommend.

We booked this hotel during Christmas time as a family of 5. booking experience was smooth, the extra instruction regarding directions from the subway was very detailed and thoughtful since there was a construction site just in front of the hotel. In the end it was simple finding the hotel, it was only 500m away from the Marienplatz.
Overall the hotel was super cozy and clean. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. I love the gym and the back garden.
To be honest I couldnt find any complaints about this hotel honestly. Recommend for couples or small family for optimal experience.
