Everything was wonderful—the hotel’s location, the cleanliness, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially the direct S-Bahn access tunnel and the amazing breakfast. Everything was just perfect. One small suggestion: since we live in the digital age, would it be possible to upgrade the TVs in the rooms to ones that support YouTube and Netflix etc?

I am extremely impressed with the Leonardo, their entire staff were incredibly helpful and most spoke English better than I can speak German. It's a nice hotel for a family with a kid (it's not so easy to find reasonably priced rooms with 2 beds in Munich) with great public transport connection to both airport and the city center. Breakfast selection was amazing. I'd gladly come back again.

Housekeeping needs work. The guy refused to take our dirty dishes and always just left them sitting there. He did the bare minimum of towels, make the bed, empty garbage. Even toilet paper was put in improperly.

We booked this hotel to be on the U6 line so we could be in between Munich city centre (Marienplatz) and Allianz Arena (Fröttmaning). This was perfect although it is a good 10 minute walk with suitcases. The room was clean, comfortable and compact. There is construction work for the train station right outside the hotel. it causes quite massive noise and chaos to the environment around the hotel. The restaurant is great, both food and services.

Quite good actually. Good air conditioning, which was very important. Yet, I arrived very early in the morning and was promised an early check-in. But the front desk staff, who made the promise, somehow disappeared and another staff member wasn’t helpful enough. So, I ended up checking in like 6 hours later. Not impressed.

Cons: I checked-in at the late evening and entered my room finding a bathrobe and slippers lying on the bathroom floor, which gave me the impression that the room has not been properly cleaned. 1 of the reception counter reluctant to help to reheat packed food from supermarket nearby. Being told only for staff only. Luckily we try again and another staff assist to reheat the food. The hotel environment was decent, but the stay was disappointing. There was no hot water for showering at night, and no one answered the phone when I called the front desk. Service and maintenance need significant improvement to enhance the guest experience.

A lovely hotel situated super close to the train station! Members of staff were very helpful and lovely! Decent size rooms and the breakfast was excellent - handy it is till 11:30 on weekends too! The pool was such a great facility! Only thing to note is the area of the hotel isn’t the safest if you are a solo female traveller.

Hotel is great to reach out all the attractions, it had a great breakfast, nice spa zone. The only thing to improve is to clean surfaces, because it looked like the room was cleaned very quickly, without extra attention.

Clean and modern and most importantly AIR CONDITIONED. Comfortable beds with TWO PILLOWS! It's also very quiet despite being close to a busy area. The hotel is set back off the street which is good because its in a bit of a rough close to the main train station. I enjoyed my stay here and recommend it for visiting Munich.

The location is away from the main city, however there's an U-Bahn station nearby that connects to the city center and the main train station directly, so it's not too bad. When we got in the room, the air conditioning was not working well then we asked to change the room and the staff understood the situation and very quickly we had a new room. Overall experience is average. However, on one of the days (29th April), the housekeeping didn't clean our room at all, and the receptionist guy that night kept saying I don't know.. I don't know, without saying sorry. We even have to get the clean towels by ourselves.

Very good and fast check in process even though we asked for a late check in. The room was clean and neat. Check out was also very easy. The only issue in the room was that there was no airconditioning so it could get hot during the summer months. Otherwise it was a perfect stay :)

Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room.
