I have been here for a few days so far. The rooms are okay but a little run down. There are no snacks or drinks in the rooms. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel went above and beyond for our family. We were traveling with a 1 year old and they upgraded our room which gave him plenty of room to play and walk around. I would say the rooms are pretty baby proof as well. The staff provided us with a diaper pails and offered a crib. Room was updated. A friendly, unfussy welcome. We asked for two separate duvets for one room. It worked on the third attempt ;). As we'd read in guest reviews, it was confirmed that the attentiveness of the service staff, including management, at breakfast could be improved, even during off-peak times. We were quickly assigned a table, but we weren't able to order drinks. Eye contact with the staff wasn't possible....

I really need to give a bad review. The hotel had soldiers staying because of a football match. They changed my original twin bed to a king-size bed without notifying me, and they didn't tell the agent. Most importantly, when the customer checked in, they gave the customer's room card to open the door and someone was already in the room. This kind of service in a five-star hotel is simply too much

Room is clean and modern designed. There is sauna and swimming pool. Though size of swimming pool is small, only one people can swim, the area is very relaxing. Hotel is not close to the subway station (15min walk, but very close to a tram stop (50meters or so). There are free candies in the lobby. Overall the experience is good.

Hotel was nice accommodations but wasn't there long enough to give it a true, thorough evaluation. Porter was very pleasant and helpful and they have an underground parking lot if you're driving your car. 4 star because it has an excellent location across from the Karlplatz and there is an escalator down to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains that is literally right out the front doors.

There is construction work for the train station right outside the hotel. it causes quite massive noise and chaos to the environment around the hotel. The restaurant is great, both food and services.

Quite good actually. Good air conditioning, which was very important. Yet, I arrived very early in the morning and was promised an early check-in. But the front desk staff, who made the promise, somehow disappeared and another staff member wasn’t helpful enough. So, I ended up checking in like 6 hours later. Not impressed.

Pros: only thing I can think of is the location. 10mins walk to the bus and main train station. Cons: I checked-in at the late evening and entered my room finding a bathrobe and slippers lying on the bathroom floor, which gave me the impression that the room has not been properly cleaned. Service was not great either, it took 1 hour and three calls to finally have someone to replace the robe and slippers...

Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap.

The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room. They even installed a bidet spray in the bathroom and helped return our rental car. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxation, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Highly recommended!
