Showers had incredible water pressure. Pro tip: just pull that drain plug right out or the tub fills faster than it drains. The water temperature was not consistent, you could tell whenever a toilet flushed and the water got hot. Why are there no self-serve laundry machines here? Would have been 5 stars if I could just do my laundry here instead of down the road. Check out Mullers laundromat, the...
The hotel is outside of the nightlife and busy downtown areas. It makes it better for those who want to sleep. There is a public transit station approximately 1 block away so you have easy access to the fun.
I have been here for a few days so far. The rooms are okay but a little run down. There are no snacks or drinks in the rooms. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. However, they are not fully trained in checking procedures so be prepared to spend some time if it is not a straight forward procedure. The lobby bar is called "The drop" and the service is excellent. Great staff! I guess having...
I have had a bad experience with very bad matress, too much aged and uncomfortable. I complained the first night, I have been said it was not possible to change room and the roomservice will check...they did not care and staying 5 nights in this same condition was a torture. The breakfast and sauna are great, hopefully.
I stay there with my husband and we love it. Very beautiful hotel with wonderful view. Located close to subway. Hotel lounge have fresh food and beer. The best place in hotel is the spa. Big pool, saunas an romantic backyard. Very friendly staff and maneger solving any issues.
Not the first time lodging in this hotel. Employees are as nice and helpful as always. Room is clean, bathroom could be bigger but no complains. Breakfast has a lot of varieties, I went late for breakfast, there were tons of choices and no empty pots at all.

It’s located central, breakfast was ok. Unfortunately swimming pool was closed on 31 afternoon , they installed tables around for dinner . Next morning at breakfast on 1 January, they had not friendly blond woman at bar, serving „ early bird“ breakfast . We arrived 20 min before 10. it was difficult to get hold of anyone to get breakfast or at least coffee. Other guests came too and were frustrated...
Lovely hotel with a nice vibe and lovely staff, but a few minor things to note. My room was very nice and cosy, but there are significant variances between rooms even of the same type. Another group in my party had an older room in which they couldn't function the AC system and had a rock hard mattress. The building is fairly old so it does come with many of the standard problems of an old building...
This was my second time staying at the Bayerischer and I highly recommend it if you are coming to Munich!! The location is central to everything and they have so many amenities. The staff provided excellent service right from the first Hello. The rooms and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I will definitely be going back.
Excellent and iconic hotel with poor coffee. We decided to get a feel for this renowned hotel and went into the lounge-bar. The setting is wonderfully classic adapted to 21st century with very spacious seating arrangements. After waiting for app. 10 minutes for service, I went to the bar to order 2 cappucino. The bartenders declared themselves not responsible but would notify the staff who was. We...
We didn't spend the night only used their bar for some drinks. I can definitely recommend this place for a after shopping drinks. Great service and nice bar room. We will be back even maybe give the hotel a chance next time.
Remarkable experience in every way. One of the great hotels of the world with prices to match. But if you’re to splurge in Munich this is the place.

Stayed a few days with family (2 adults + 1 child). Good: Location is right across from Hbf and walkable to Munich Old Town. A little noisy at night. Room was great - I used an upgrade as a Marriott member and had the large corner room, which is very comfortable. Room is clean - no complaints here, everything works as it should, there are enough towels, and everything is spotless. Breakfast is pretty...
I really wanted to love this hotel, but in the end it was simply average. Our check in experience was great. Early room access, thoughtful service. Breakfast is good to very good. The space is just ok, but the food mix was good. Our room was located on the top level of the hotel (a standard “deluxe” room). Perhaps for this reason, we had issues with hotel WiFi and some issues with temp control...
This definitely does not feel like a 5 star hotel at all and I would not recommend it. The room was spacious but no division so all sleeping in a big space. When we arrive the pull out bed looked broken and we had to attempt to fix it ourselves. There are no channels in English, no way to watch movies- which seems ridiculous for a 5 star international hotel chain. The sound proofing isn’t great and...
Rooms were great. Location is good and breakfast was delicious. The reason for 3 stars is that I slept in on my last day but housekeeping ignored my do not disturb sign.
Very centrally located with solid breakfast. Staff is friendly. Large pool and also a good sauna available. The only thing I did not like: The doors/walls are not good isolated - so a lot of noise you can hear.
Clean rooms, great service, and overall good location. It's right across the street from the main train station, which was really convenient with our luggage. The city center and popular restaurants are only a 20 min walk and there's plenty of public transportation. Only issue we had was the AC in our room. We had a top floor room that was awkwardly big, making it difficult to get the room cold enough...

Fantastic location, great staff and the breakfast was excellent with made to order eggs and lots of vegan options. They also provided mineral water daily. The shower flooded the entire bathroom after each use - I think maybe from a combination of the seamless floor design and current ongoing construction. No turn down service was offered, which I found unusual for a 5 star establishment. At check in...
We loved our stay here over the weekend Oct. 24 to 27. Friendly service. Very convenient location literally out of the Munich train station south exit. While the immediate neighborhood might feel a little East Hollywood / Time Square, it's a gentle 10minute walk to the old town section or a tram right out the front. A welcoming / relaxing ambience contrasts the hustle of the exterior. Rooms were...
This hotel is absolutely amazing. Location is perfect and convenient. The spa is bliss after a long day of sightseeing and the rooms are clean and well appointed. We had a very minor issue with the in room dining, but we spoke to Rodrigo and he was able to sort it all out and then went above and beyond to make it right. He was a shining example of what exceptional customer service is all about. Thank...
Bed was comfortable and room was quiet and clean however this hotel clearly needs an urgent refurbishment everything looks very dated. Location near the station is not far from city center which can be reached by foot. As you are at the station don't expect any nice view from the window. Staff was welcoming and friendly.
Stayed a couple of times for business. Good location with easy access to S and U Bahn. Breakfast was good but staff seem to be annoyed or bored. Room was OK. Dirty dishes were left in front of room which didn’t make a good first impression. Lighting in shower didn’t work. Overall, not quite the standard to expect from a 5 star hotel.
Very relaxing and serene place to come to after a busy day in the city. Super convenient location - 1 min walking distance from the main train station. In some minor details you can notice that the hotel is already existing for 20 years, but the staff makes up for it in every possible way: super friendly, attentive, very caring, I always feel welcome when staying here. Looking forward to my next stay...

Clean and very nice rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. our dog was very welcome and we appreciated room service.
My hotel experience We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the price was reasonable. The room was nice and clean The breakfast food was great with a variety of products The service at reception was excellent. thank you for the service
This is easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in! This hotel is so modern and has so many amenities you didn't know you needed. There's even a little robot that brings drinks to your room! There is a good gym and everything is very clean. 4 stars because I would love to see them get rid of the single use plastic bottles in the rooms. Perhaps, they can offer a refillable soap dispenser.
I stayed here for a weekend. Room and furnishings are nice, lounge was okay. Overall very pleasant stay. Cons: I couldn't get wifi working at the table, it only worked near the door but it was pretty weak. Housekeeping staff never seem to wear masks.
It is one of my favourite in munich.you need 12 minutes to the center with the public train and if you book a Panorama room you have a nice view around munich. The Service is super friendly.
Clean and comfortable hotel room. Fast check in and well organized hotel. My main problem during the last stay was the room service. Sunday 08:30 am they ring on the door, if they can check the mini bar.

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski München is truly my favorite spot in Munich! This place holds so many memories and never fails to bring me happiness every time I visit. The service is impeccable—always attentive and warm, making you feel right at home. The coffee is just as amazing as it was 12 years ago; nothing has changed, and I absolutely love that consistency. It’s a timeless gem in the heart...
The hotel went above and beyond for our family. We were traveling with a 1 year old and they upgraded our room which gave him plenty of room to play and walk around. I would say the rooms are pretty baby proof as well. The staff provided us with a diaper pails and offered a crib. Room was updated. Location was absolutely perfect and walkable for the Christmas markets and shopping. Its rare these days...
We stayed from 12/14-12/7 (2024) with our two sons, ages 11 and 14…. cannot remember which suite it was, but big enough for everyone to fit comfortably and have their own private space. The service was exceptional on every level. Restaurants were excellent. Location was perfect, particularly close proximity to Christmas markets. Very high-end, beautiful street. The rooms were extremely nice, very comfortable...
I give top marks for location and the restaurant. Guest services and front desk however fell short for a hotel in this category . Firstly we weren’t informed there’s renovation and drilling continues after 6 pm. Secondly we’ve 3 rooms as one of my rooms was inaccessible after breakfast . My daughter went to the front desk for help and and they weren’t helpful insisting the keys were working . We wasted...
Very luxurious hotel. Make sure you get a suite, that gives you all the little extras. Restaurants are spectacular, with a lot of traditional dishes on the next level. Amazing bar, service is great. We loved all of it.
Another fabulous stay in the old Grand Hotel located in the center of Munich. The personell are very friendly and helpfull, the rooms are well maintained and clean, the Lobby and its culinary offerings are giving you the sense of old, with a flair of new! We come every year here and we will come back next year!

Nice hotel but lacking the staff/management needed to reach the next level. Rooms are nice, very comfortable. Breakfast is good, quite a large buffet. However, it is severely understaffed and/or they just don’t care. First night we called several times to order room service and no one answered… On the second day the beers in the mini bar were not refilled so we called the desk and we were told someone...
Excellent hotel. It is right next to the tram stop for the train station and the center, the place is very peaceful. The rooms are quite spacious, with large bathrooms, and some have a terrace. The bed was very comfortable and the room has an extremely wide selection of alcohol and soft drinks in the minibar (see photo). The service is excellent, I had a reservation for two rooms for me and my parents...
Soo…the service was terrible. During check-in, the receptionist offered drinks and forgot about them casually. In the evening we wanted to call the room service and nobody asked on phone. The same thing was on the next morning: we wanted to have a toothbrush, and my fiancée went to the reception by himself because nobody asked on phone. Then we wanted to have breakfast at lobby and fun situation:...
The rooms are cute with fancy designs. It's a spacious room with a seating sofa, table and chairs. I don't appreciate the tub in the middle of the bedroom. Although it has all these amenities the space is not comfy. The bed is ok. There is a spa with a pool, sauna and a bar. It's nice to have. Breakfast, if not included in your room fee, is 42€ per person. Way too expensive. It's a buffet breakfast...
Charming stay at Roomers Hotel in Munich! The cute design and helpful staff added to the experience. Only downside: rooms were quite hot, necessitating open windows for air. On the bright side, the high-quality bar and restaurant impressed, with servers being remarkably polite and professional. Overall, a delightful stay!

As a globalist, the room we were upgraded to was absolutely gorgeous and we greatly appreciated it. However, I found it a little unsettling (and gross) that there were no mattress protectors on the beds, only a thin flat sheet between me and the mattress. The other disappointing part was the old crunchy towels, for such a beautiful property the towels should be nicer. Finally, the evening lobby bar...
I enjoyed the stay pretty much, as the room was spacious and very comfortable. The size of the room is big enough to give you the comfort of being in your living room at home! Breakfast with a vast selection of food. We felt like we were in a luxury restaurant thanks to the service of the so caring and cheerful waiter Leonardo!
Had an amazing stay at the Andaz during Oktoberfest weekend. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms were clean and spacious. Really good gym and the Spa is wonderful. Theresa and Johannes were excellent and are an asset to the hotel! Only complaint is that the service at the Lonely Broccoli takes forever, but the food itself was delicious. This will be my go-to hotel whenever in Munich.
We stayed at room 1002. The best ANDAZ ever! While the location is alright, everything at the hotel is perfect. Friendly receiption, nice housekeeping, beautiful room, and attentive services! Will come back again for sure.
Absolutely loved our stay at Andaz Munich! This hotel is the epitome of modern style and luxury. The design throughout is stunning, from the lobby to the rooms. The spa is a haven of relaxation, and the rooftop bar offers spectacular views and delicious cocktails. Don't miss the steak restaurant—it's truly outstanding! Amazing staff took great care of us. Food in the restaurant was excellent (breakfast and dinner). Super comfy Andaz Suite with more buttons and light switches than we had time to learn. Beautiful property, right on the tram line. Didn't get to the spa; maybe next time!

I stayed in The Charles Hotel during Oktoberfest 2024 for three nights. My initial reason was this hotel was one the very few which had a spa in Munich. It was much more than I expected. In addition the breakfast was one of the best in European city hotels. There can be some improvements in the housekeeping however, as they never added complimentary water after first check-in. Surely when I told them...
This is a wonderful hotel. It is comfortable and has a great location. The food is delicious. We stayed in the room with a nice garden view. Highly recommend this hotel.
Positive Aspects: - Excellent breakfast. - Well-located hotel. Areas for Improvement: - The food at the hotel's main restaurant was below average. - Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but our room wasn't ready until around 4:30 PM. Waiting an extra 90 minutes is unprofessional. - The hospitality fell short compared to other top hotels. Upon arrival, a gentleman brought us water, but after that, we...
Absolute jewel. One of the top service. I’ve seen. The breakfast is rich, thoughtful and delicious, the coffee is barista grade. The rooms are very well put together, and the spa experience is just great.

Love this hotel. I've stayed here twice on a layover in Munich. It's convenient to the old town, but on a quiet side street. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it's just the right amount of luxury.
My stay at the Do and Co Hotel in Munich was truly exceptional! The service was outstanding, the rooms were lovely, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Munich.

My recent stay at Hotel München Palace was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had a very good time in this hotel. I was positively surprised about the service and the quality. The room was very clean, nice style, modern and unique. The breakfast was very good. The food option and variation quality was excellent. And I liked a lot the breakfast team. They were very friendly and attentive. Thank you for your service.
I went there with my dogs, and I loved it! The dog beds, cups, and snacks were nicely prepared for them. I like everything here, it’s quiet, nice room, nice view, but some small things are a little bit run down, like the lift that looks a bit old, and the rain shower in the room doesn’t really want to work. Overall, I still love this hotel.
Hotel is well located. Rooms were nice size and very quiet. Hotel has a very tiny exercise room with good equipment but no room. Service wasn’t great. Nice 5 star hotel close to many tourist attractions. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good sized modern rooms.
We made reservation in Hotel Excelsior in 2011 and got upgraded to this beautiful hotel. This awesome experience has been in my mind for 7 years and I can finally make it to write a review in 2018. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Wish we will stay in your hotels again!
Hotel was nice accommodations but wasn't there long enough to give it a true, thorough evaluation. Porter was very pleasant and helpful and they have an underground parking lot if you're driving your car. 4 star because it has an excellent location across from the Karlplatz and there is an escalator down to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains that is literally right out the front doors.
Good location , but unsafe at all . I had my safe stolen in an organized thief which has info from inside the hotel .watch out they have zero standard on security .
I have stayed here several times and have no complaints. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have beautiful furnishings and the location is close to everything. I would suggest this hotel to my family and friends.
