Hostels in Munchen

Room was a tad small but we didn't mind too much. There is a sink in the room which actually comes in quite handy. The breakfast was standard and but not a lot of variety. The staff was nice, in specific the receptionist was lovely. Bathrooms were clean. The location is good as it is well connected to the public transport and has plenty of stores and supermarkets near by.

The price for this hostel was very good. The bedroom was simple and they offer lockers with keys for safe storage. There is also a security guard at night which is nice. The shared bathroom could include more stalls since there was a lot of people in there at once, and a more private shower (there was just a short shower curtain). For a hostel the breakfast was good. It included buns, spreads, yogurt...

The rooms were clean but the bathroom too small, and it was actually separated from the shower. The food was OK, nothing exceptional but still good. The receptionist was very welcoming. There is also a disco so we had a good time here.

The hostel Haus International is a cool place with its own Charme. Alcohol is prohibited in all rooms but you can give it up at the counter an can get it back anytime if you'll drink it outside. Coffee is available for free with breakfast and apart from that always for 1.50€. The employees are well informed and mostly polite. The ÖPNV is nearby (tram and bus) and you can easily reach a REWE market...

Great service and facilities. Relatively accessible location. May be a bit noisy if your room is next to the road.

I’m so lucky I got some good roommates, it was fun. Overall very clean, neat hostel. The fridge was too full so I didn’t use it. Other than that I have nothing to complain!

I had stayed several times in a hostel, though over 50. I had an overall great experience here. The service was solid, the room as good as I might expect with easy to use lockers. Close to the train station and a 15 minute walk from Old Town. The only problem was excessive comradeship that kept me awake along with a snoring roommate. Bring your earplugs!

Great location! Near central station and easy walk to the old town, market and shopping streets. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Public area and kitchen are well equipped and nice.

Hostel was v conveniently located to Munich HBF. Just opposite the station where there were lots of other hostels n hotels were located too. It is opposite Leonardos Hotel. There is a Lidl supermarket down the road about 5 mins walk away. A good common kitchen is available n opened for long hours too. Guests are co-operative n keep the kitchen tidy. The hostel located just nearby central station and consider is the cheapest in that area.

For the price the place was good but don’t expect too much. You have to pay for a lock which was annoying but also the price was 1€ a day for it. The bathroom though was kinda gross, people would leave a soaking wet bath mat on the floor and it just wasn’t pleasant. But that’s not in the hostel. The major thing was it was loud, I could hear people every night screaming in the hall and it had zero sound...

The staff didn't seem motivated to work. I booked this hostel because the other hostels have sold out all of their beds. I probably wouldn't recommend this hostel if you have other chocies. But this is very close to HBF.

The breakfast is disappointing not worth 8euros. The staff is nice. The room is not that great but ok.

I have been several times at this place and I love it. Perfect for a short stay with everything that you need and can find in the surroundings.

Very nice facilities, with nice curtains to shield our beds, built in locks in the lockers, and I particularly appreciated the individual fans for each bed, especially given the summer heat. Also with regular cleaning, and the cleaning ladies were very nice to me even when I stayed until noon inside the bedroom. The kitchen had all needed supplies and a nice group table where I got to eat dinner and...

Nice and clean place with air-con! It also has a kitchen plus laundry room. No need to worry about payment for the washer, you can exchange some coins with the staff. Location is not the best, but it's pretty close to a train station, so I would say it's not a big deal.

Incredible location, great staff, fun atmosphere.

I didn't have big expectations since price and location were main triggers for me, otherwise rooms are clean, cozy bads, hot water, hair dryer and even ironing staff is available in each room. Roof rooms even has good sightseeing and windows including metal curtains for fresh air work ideally. Also tea pot for hot water is available with tea or instant coffee packages. And you will get also vouchers...

My friends and I stayed at this hostel for a few nights. The advantage is its location, right at Munich Hbf, but beware of the shady street that the hostel is situated in. The rooms and beds were clean. There’s a free luggage room to leave your things in before and after staying, which was useful. The hotel is very close to the train station which is a bonus and there are numerous restaurants close-by. The hotel has a social room downstairs which a nice to have. The Old Town is also not too far away, about a 20min walk away. During our stay there was a miscommunication between the cleaning staff and reception where we came back one evening and found all our luggage packed up in the reception...

Very nice hostel with clean rooms. The showers and bathrooms need a lot of updating, very basic quality and instead of a shower etc per room, it's a shower per floor, one men one women. Staff are very polite and helpful and they definitely do like a convo with guest's. The buffet breakfast is highly recommended, more than ample food. I used it for a couple of times. It has a very convenient location near train station. It has a quiet and noisier sides. It may be a little bit disturbing on the noisy side if you want to sleep early or longer. Staff are friendly and helpful!

The hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable. There are enough showers and toilets. There is also a small kitchenette. But it is not enough personnel to maintain the place, the halls are dirty and the check-in was more than 15 minutes in the evening. Overall, good stay for fair money.

A cheap hostel with private rooms

Very uncomplicated booking process. Nice team. Parking space available. Rooms could do with some cleaning up (for that reason, minus 1 star)

Worth to stay. Approx. 20mins from hbf. It’s located in an industrial estate. It’s pretty calm in the night. The place is pretty well maintained. Worth for money and stay.

Great place for a quick stopover. The quality was very good and the rooms looked relatively new. The communal area on the first floor is pretty small and didn't have a cooker, despite advertising this would be available on the website. As usual, the experience in a hostel is defined by the people but the physical accomodation is better than standard.

Clean, neat and affordable. No reception but instructions are easy to follow. Rooms have three beds and there are about 6 rooms to a flat with a shared kitchen. It is located by a few brothels but it doesn't take away from the overnight experience

Room is good and cheap. Its budget hotel. Shower is svailable inside your room but toilet is at outside of your room. Coffee machine is available for 24 hours. You have to reserve parking places before you go there. You can also park on the street from 18:00 . It costs around €10.

The hotel is very close to the subway which we appreciated. Our room had a large flat screen TV (all the stations were in German), a bathroom with a shower, and comfortable beds. 5-stars for the hospitality. The breakfast is excellent. The room is small but clean and well-equiped. A cold water bottle in the fridge free of charge was prepared when we arrived. Appreciated! There is an adorable dog in the house as well. The madrass is a bit too soft for me but i was fine with that because we stayed just one night.

The mattress are very bad quality. Breakfast was great. Room is also very nice. There is a very big dog at the downstairs. That's why there is very bad scent and it barks when it see you...

This is overall the best place ever, we was in touch all the time friendly, place clean, quiet and all the time they were trying to help you as much as possible, breakfast, mmmmm OMG its simply the best reward lol, I'd returned just for the breakfad, congratulaciones for bed and breakfast

Fantastic place, the owner is very polite and engaging. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had something for everyone and very tasty. Wifi was fast and reliable. Absolutely 10 out of 10 for me.

Clean place, great breakfast. Some accessories could use some freshening to keep up with the times, but everything is generally good. Place is a bit hard to find if you've never been, but once you do find it, it's fairly convenient--close to bus stops, with some parking. I would consider staying there again.
