Room was a tad small but we didn't mind too much. There is a sink in the room which actually comes in quite handy. The breakfast was standard and but not a lot of variety. The staff was nice, in specific the receptionist was lovely. Bathrooms were clean. The location is good as it is well connected to the public transport and has plenty of stores and supermarkets near by.

The price for this hostel was very good. The bedroom was simple and they offer lockers with keys for safe storage. There is also a security guard at night which is nice. The shared bathroom could include more stalls since there was a lot of people in there at once, and a more private shower (there was just a short shower curtain). For a hostel the breakfast was good. It included buns, spreads, yogurt...

The rooms were clean but the bathroom too small, and it was actually separated from the shower. The food was OK, nothing exceptional but still good. The receptionist was very welcoming. There is also a disco so we had a good time here.

The hostel Haus International is a cool place with its own Charme. Alcohol is prohibited in all rooms but you can give it up at the counter an can get it back anytime if you'll drink it outside. Coffee is available for free with breakfast and apart from that always for 1.50€. The employees are well informed and mostly polite. The ÖPNV is nearby (tram and bus) and you can easily reach a REWE market...

Great service and facilities. Relatively accessible location. May be a bit noisy if your room is next to the road.

Don't understand why this is rated under 4 stars. It's a proper 5 star worthy place. Great comfy rooms and beds. Only downside is you need to pay 2€ to use a towel. Else superb place.

Pretty close to Munich Central Station, only 2-3 minutes to walk there. The rooms were also great, except one thing, namely the sounds of the beds. They were annoying and came up everytime one moved a little bit in the bed. The breakfast was really good for the price. You get a decent variety of food on a buffet. And a surplus is the happy hour from 5-8pm, in which you could get a Maß of beer (1 Liter...

7 There are extra security lockers for rent in addition to a locker included with your bed, and the staff was nice. However, the bathrooms were very bad, especially in the doorms. They flooded every time someone took a shower, so I didn't get to use it much. I was woken up every night by an alarm or by someone yelling in the dorm, and the sounds from the bar carried perfectly to the dorms. No...

40 person dorm room had quite comfy (and clean) bedding. Good hostel, though the ones on either side were livelier.

Recently, I had a girls' trip to Germany, and our first stop was Munich! We were on a budget, and this fit it quite nicely. Registration was simple and efficient, they also provided 1 coupon/pax for each night that was booked for a free drink. Nice perk! It works as a place to rest for the night before the next day's adventure but nothing too fancy about it. Affordable and good enough!

I stayed here a couple of times this year and also stayed at the a&o hostels and I can tell if you are looking for a hostel to sleep in, a&o is way better than this the bed is way better there compared to here. This hostel is not bad but I'll choose a&o any day , the only reason to choose this hostel is the location.

Perfect place in the perfect location. The staff is good and you get to meet some great people during your stay. However while checking in their card machine wasn't working so it was a bit of a hassle for me and inconvenient as well. So I had to run back and forth to get some cash. The service provider had been faulty for a week they said. Hope they sort it out soon.

Nice hostel, good price, excellent and friendly staff. It's located just one square from Munich Central Station, so very easy to get to public transport. The showers were great. The bedroom was full, but very quiet at night, comfortable beds, nice coffee room.

Osmanisches Reich is living here

It is a very descent motel. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super friendly and speak english very well. In the basement they even have a buffet. The place only contains one flaw, the dinner. It is a large buffet but sometimes the food looks real strange, however it is worth the price. The food in the morning is just perfect, a large choice of food and it tastes just fine.

This may be the best youth hostel that I have ever been in. I felt that the staff were friendly and I loved the fact that I could purchase public transport tickets. I also thought that this hostel had the best breakfast that I have ever had in a youth hostel. Keep up the good work!

This is a great hostel for families, 90% of people were families with kids. It is very close to the subway, they offer evening meals which we (couple with 3 year old twins) thought were good value for money. Rooms are simple bur adequate. Breakfast is included and is excellent. They have a baby room, a kids room, and a playground outside. Tons of board games for older children. I would stay here again...

Best location easily to access by tram 16,17 from Munich Central station. one saturday early morning,3 girls guests brought twe boys who were NOT guests in my dorm room. And they begun making love on each bunk bed with LOUD SOUND! i said reception stuff please stop them fxxcking.but the stuff did NOTHING unfortunately.i checked out reluctantly.is this normal in munich?

Young guests from other rooms at ground floor are active throughout the night and will be very noisy.

Location is okay, not very far from city center. Reception was polite, but very busy. My bed was not clean, I spotted dirty place there, which is not acceptable at all. They didn't provide pillowcase and blanket, which is very strange. I guess they didn't properly prepared the room for guest. There is a place to sit and it in the first floor, privacy is high, as almost all doors open with card key...

The toilet and the environment In the hotel is quite good. U need to using their app for requiring the clean service, but I did not use it. And the hotel is near the bus station (flixbus), but still need to walk for a while. However, it is far away from the train station.

I’m so lucky I got some good roommates, it was fun. Overall very clean, neat hostel. The fridge was too full so I didn’t use it. Other than that I have nothing to complain!

I had stayed several times in a hostel, though over 50. I had an overall great experience here. The service was solid, the room as good as I might expect with easy to use lockers. Close to the train station and a 15 minute walk from Old Town. The only problem was excessive comradeship that kept me awake along with a snoring roommate. Bring your earplugs!

Great location! Near central station and easy walk to the old town, market and shopping streets. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Public area and kitchen are well equipped and nice.

Hostel was v conveniently located to Munich HBF. Just opposite the station where there were lots of other hostels n hotels were located too. It is opposite Leonardos Hotel. An excellent hostel and quite reasonable alternative to expensive city centre hotels if you want a private room. No kitchen for resident's use (apparently a city regulation about food hygiene liability makes these rare). A good bar in the traditional backpacker mould, including extensive drinks specials during the early evening. Very helpful staff, tour pickups and a central location near the Hauptbahnhof...

The bar was great, loved the happy hour prices and selection. I loved the bar atmosphere as well. We also went on the social event for Christmas with some friends that are in town that were staying here, it was quite wonderful that they put it together for us to go out and have dinner together. The staff is so helpful. Perfect location next to public transportation or a 15-minute walk to the center. The delicious all you can eat breakfast was a good deal! The Wi-Fi worked really well. The bed was pretty comfy. I will definitely stay here again someday!

Great hotel!!! Super clean, good location. We ended up hanging out at the bar inside the hotel because both bartenders were cool and a lot of fun to talk to. Overall great staff and great place for such a cheap price and nice breakfast buffet.

The hostel was very clean, the staff was helpful and there's a bar on site with cheap prices. I stayed in a 12 person dorm with my friend and the beds were comfortable. It's pretty close to the city center and is a quick walk to a metro station. However, the room was small with little room to move around between beds. Cozy rooms, great for staying a night or two. Very affordable breakfast with good value. Bar offers excellent cider from the tap, highly recommend it! I thought this hostel was very well designed. You can tell it’s a newer location by the cleanliness and bedding. Everything was perfect about my stay. The hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable. There are enough showers and toilets. There is also a small kitchenette. But it is not enough personnel to maintain the place, the halls are dirty and the check-in was more than 15 minutes in the evening. Overall, good stay for fair money.

A cheap hostel with private rooms

Great place for a quick stopover. The quality was very good and the rooms looked relatively new. The communal area on the first floor is pretty small and didn't have a cooker, despite advertising this would be available on the website. As usual, the experience in a hostel is defined by the people but the physical accomodation is better than standard.
