THE 4YOU Hostel & Hotel Munich, Munchen1 / 50
8.2
Munchen, Hirtenstraße 18 🧭 Map
Recently, I had a girls' trip to Germany, and our first stop was Munich! We were on a budget, and this fit it quite nicely. Registration was simple and efficient, they also provided 1 coupon/pax for each night that was booked for a free drink. Nice perk! It works as a place to rest for the night before the next day's adventure but nothing too fancy about it. Affordable and good enough!
"Stayed at the 4You Hostel in Munich and had a fantastic experience! The location is perfect, just a stone's throw away from the main train station. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the density of the rooms, with quite a few bunk beds packed in, but overall, it was definitely worth it for the value and convenience!"
I stayed here a couple of times this year and also stayed at the a&o hostels and I can tell if you are looking for a hostel to sleep in, a&o is way better than this the bed is way better there compared to here. This hostel is not bad but I'll choose a&o any day , the only reason to choose this hostel is the location.
Super cheap, super well-located and super fun. This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was great. Special thanks to Faizal and Lara for being extra nice to me.
Perfect place in the perfect location. The staff is good and you get to meet some great people during your stay. However while checking in their card machine wasn't working so it was a bit of a hassle for me and inconvenient as well. So I had to run back and forth to get some cash. The service provider had been faulty for a week they said. Hope they sort it out soon.
Nice hostel, good price, excellent and friendly staff. It's located just one square from Munich Central Station, so very easy to get to public transport. The showers were great. The bedroom was full, but very quiet at night, comfortable beds, nice coffee room.

Don't understand why this is rated under 4 stars. It's a proper 5 star worthy place. Great comfy rooms and beds. Only downside is you need to pay 2€ to use a towel. Else superb place.
Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure! Good place, easy Access to train Station. Very clean and nice...
Pretty close to Munich Central Station, only 2-3 minutes to walk there. The rooms were also great, except one thing, namely the sounds of the beds. They were annoying and came up everytime one moved a little bit in the bed. The breakfast was really good for the price. You get a decent variety of food on a buffet. And a surplus is the happy hour from 5-8pm, in which you could get a Maß of beer (1 Liter...
Very good hostel, excellent location in the center, wi fi, baggage storage service, with lockers big! etc...
7 There are extra security lockers for rent in addition to a locker included with your bed, and the staff was nice. However, the bathrooms were very bad, especially in the doorms. They flooded every time someone took a shower, so I didn't get to use it much. I was woken up every night by an alarm or by someone yelling in the dorm, and the sounds from the bar carried perfectly to the dorms. No...
40 person dorm room had quite comfy (and clean) bedding. Good hostel, though the ones on either side were livelier.

Fantastic location, super connected. Unfortunately that is the only positive experience about this hostel. No power outlets in the room, and local staff refuses to charge power banks at the reception, it is extremely unreasonable and cheap to ask guests who are there to visit a city to spend hours in the lobby waiting for their power banks and devices to charge because the hostel is too busy providing...
My check in was at 3pm, but I was allowed 2-3 hours early as per my request. The rooms are neat and clean. In the shared kitchens, there are limited utensils which can be improved. Close to the public transportation and main station. Very low price compared to other hostels in Munich.
We were on the first floor and it was incredibly loud. People storming through the hallways and yelling at all hours. There is a bar in the lobby and on the roof. Lobby was always busy with people on laptops and hanging out. Front desk service was a bit slow, as it was always busy. Laundry facilities are in the basement and accessible via an app. All instructions are there. Just don’t expect your clothes...
The staff at a&o Hostel München Hackerbrücke are friendly and accommodating, even during the busy Oktoberfest season. Mariner from Croatia deserves a special mention for his kindness and willingness to chat while cleaning tables, making me feel at home despite being far away. However, the luggage storage could be better organized, so I recommend bringing a mini padlock for extra security. Also, note...
I’ve stayed at the hostel 3 times already. I like it for its location (just 15 min from the Central bus station on foot or 9 min by tram which comes every 5 min), its cleanness, convenient beds, good price and, of cause, friendly and helpful staff. The area where the hostel is located is nice and safe, just 2 min from the tram stop. When the weather is nice, i walked to/from the city centre (about...
I stayed in the twin single room which is slightly off from the main communal rooms, so the noise isn’t too much of a concern. There was shower gel, soap and towels provided for the bathroom, the shower was a good temperature and pressure. The wardrobe was bolted to the floor and wall with a metal frame which can be locked with a medium size padlock ( not included ). There is a bar where you can...

Room was a tad small but we didn't mind too much. There is a sink in the room which actually comes in quite handy. The breakfast was standard and but not a lot of variety. The staff was nice, in specific the receptionist was lovely. Bathrooms were clean. The location is good as it is well connected to the public transport and has plenty of stores and supermarkets near by.
The price for this hostel was very good. The bedroom was simple and they offer lockers with keys for safe storage. There is also a security guard at night which is nice. The shared bathroom could include more stalls since there was a lot of people in there at once, and a more private shower (there was just a short shower curtain). For a hostel the breakfast was good. It included buns, spreads, yogurt...
The rooms were clean but the bathroom too small, and it was actually separated from the shower. The food was OK, nothing exceptional but still good. The receptionist was very welcoming. There is also a disco so we had a good time here.
Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, good food and great location.
The hostel Haus International is a cool place with its own Charme. Alcohol is prohibited in all rooms but you can give it up at the counter an can get it back anytime if you'll drink it outside. Coffee is available for free with breakfast and apart from that always for 1.50€. The employees are well informed and mostly polite. The ÖPNV is nearby (tram and bus) and you can easily reach a REWE market...
Great service and facilities. Relatively accessible location. May be a bit noisy if your room is next to the road.

the wombat's people are very friendly, also the guests are very pleasant. nice, clean & generously sized rooms. I stayed in a six-bed room - women only. bright lounge. special & great is the well equipped kitchen. central but still quiet location. favourable prices. I felt very comfortable. All in all almost perfect.
Great location. Easy and good rules. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms cleaned daily. Very good breakfast deals, better to take breakfast at hostel, will cost you in Munich same price just to buy a coffee. Only upside is guests at night partying amd drinking in other rooms, and seems no hotel control.
Great hostel! Clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Stayed in an 8-bed dorm, the room was quiet and even had a table and chairs. The lockers were the right size and could be locked with the personal key card. The breakfast was excellent value for money and there were even vegan options!! Will definitely come and visit again :)
Nice place to stay for couple days! The room was clean and roommates were quiet. The location of the hostel is perfect for tourists who want to look the city center. The staff was also nice and friendly. Nothing really to complain about this hostel! And there is a good breakfast for a reasonable price, that is really worth mentioning!
Enjoyed my stay. Great location, affordable, clean, and enjoyable shared areas. It was a little hot without air conditioning but not too bad. I appreciated that this room (6 person shared) was bigger than all my other hostel rooms I stayed in during my Europe trip, and even had room for a table in the middle. The extra space was nice. Def bring your earplugs or be prepared to play white noise...

An excellent hostel and quite reasonable alternative to expensive city centre hotels if you want a private room. No kitchen for resident's use (apparently a city regulation about food hygiene liability makes these rare). A good bar in the traditional backpacker mould, including extensive drinks specials during the early evening. Very helpful staff, tour pickups and a central location near the Hauptbahnhof...
The bar was great, loved the happy hour prices and selection. I loved the bar atmosphere as well. We also went on the social event for Christmas with some friends that are in town that were staying here, it was quite wonderful that they put it together for us to go out and have dinner together. Everyone is really nice and if I ever needed somewhere to stay or someone looking to stay somewhere that...
The staff is so helpful. Perfect location next to public transportation or a 15-minute walk to the center. The delicious all you can eat breakfast was a good deal! The Wi-Fi worked really well. The bed was pretty comfy. I will definitely stay here again someday!
Great hotel!!! Super clean, good location. We ended up hanging out at the bar inside the hotel because both bartenders were cool and a lot of fun to talk to. Overall great staff and great place for such a cheap price and nice breakfast buffet.
The hostel was very clean, the staff was helpful and there's a bar on site with cheap prices. I stayed in a 12 person dorm with my friend and the beds were comfortable. It's pretty close to the city center and is a quick walk to a metro station. However, the room was small with little room to move around between beds. It also got really hot because there's no fan or windows so they need to work on...

It is a very descent motel. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super friendly and speak english very well. In the basement they even have a buffet. The place only contains one flaw, the dinner. It is a large buffet but sometimes the food looks real strange, however it is worth the price. The food in the morning is just perfect, a large choice of food and it tastes just fine.
This may be the best youth hostel that I have ever been in. I felt that the staff were friendly and I loved the fact that I could purchase public transport tickets. I also thought that this hostel had the best breakfast that I have ever had in a youth hostel. Keep up the good work!
The Service was very nice and the Gaming Room was also very fun
Very clean, free Wifi and great breakfast. Awesome place to stay in for a Weekend!
This is a great hostel for families, 90% of people were families with kids. It is very close to the subway, they offer evening meals which we (couple with 3 year old twins) thought were good value for money. Rooms are simple bur adequate. Breakfast is included and is excellent. They have a baby room, a kids room, and a playground outside. Tons of board games for older children. I would stay here again...

Cozy rooms, great for staying a night or two. Very affordable breakfast with good value. Bar offers excellent cider from the tap, highly recommend it! Staff was super friendly and very customer oriented, I felt welcomed! Location next to major station with local bars and restaurants as well as quick access to other parts of the city.
Stayed here for four nights in winter 2022. The hostel itself is more upmarket than you'd think, with good sized rooms and a nice shared space. There are lots of facilities available including laundry machines, a fair kitchen, a chill out space with sofas, limited tables for working/eating. I stayed in a four-bed room in which each bunk had its own curtain, big under bed locker. In the bunk it had...
In September, I planned to stay here one night, but I liked it so much I cancelled my other accommodation and stayed another night. I liked it so much that I returned for another two nights in October. I also suggested this hostel as the perfect location for a dozen friends where we all enjoyed our last few days together. The rooms were great, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. The...
I thought this hostel was very well designed. You can tell it’s a newer location by the cleanliness and bedding. Everything was perfect about my stay. The main highlights for me were the privacy curtains, fan provided to each bunk, plug outlets that were already universal and usb charging slot. I also didn’t mind the location. I preferred it was away from the center and it was a 40min walk or 15min...
Definitely can recommend staying at this hostel! It's located close to public transport in a beautiful and creative location surrounded by bars and restaurants. The hostel is very well equipped and clean. Our 6-bed room had two bathrooms for itself. Each bed had a locker integrated into it which was large enough for all our luggage. Also, each bed had an integrated fan if it gets too warm during the...

That was an experience. Place is really cool, one of the best stay . Atmosphere is amazing and staff are friendly and very helpful . You feel as a part of some community. Tents are quite Ok, at night was a bit cold, but they give you very warm blanket and you can even ask for one more. The place is very close to bus and train station.
This was a great experience. Must visit this hostel once to experience what living under a giant tent is like. And the evening bonfires were great to socialize!
A stay at the tent is definitely an experience. People and stuff is very kind and immediately after check-in you feel like part of the community there. The prices for accommodation, food, washing etc. are fair and affordable. In the evening they often light a fire and you will end up meeting new people if you want or not. I can just recommend to try out if it's something for you although it can get...
This place is awesome. Chill atmosphere. Also, most of stuff is based on confidence. Guests as well as hosts are certain type of people, where mutual respect and trust work at the highest level. You pay for what you get, actually, you pay less, because the benefits are countless. Keep it up you guys! This is hospitality at the highest level at the "lowest" level. Highly recommend
What an awesome place to stay. I've literally just stayed the one night so far and already agree with it being the best place to stay. We are traveling and staying in the shared floor space tent. The company have provided us with not only Matt's but blankets as well all at an affordable price. There was an awesome campfire last night and we met some awesome people. Also there is easy transport into...
Nha, the environment is really nice, but if you are not the kind of person that is open to new experiences is not your place. It is also really cold, I needed like 1000 of quilts, and the mattress was really uncomfortable. But the staff is really good, and you can share with the people. It is a 2.5.

Worth to stay. Approx. 20mins from hbf. It’s located in an industrial estate. It’s pretty calm in the night. The place is pretty well maintained. Worth for money and stay.
Very clean and well furnished, 20 mins to Munich hbf with u-bahn but it's located right next to laufhaus, so better to know this before you book
Great place for a quick stopover. The quality was very good and the rooms looked relatively new. The communal area on the first floor is pretty small and didn't have a cooker, despite advertising this would be available on the website. As usual, the experience in a hostel is defined by the people but the physical accomodation is better than standard.
Excellent stay for budget travellers. Clean room, fine kitchen (fridge, stove, dishwasher (!)) and proper bathrooms and toilets. It was a bit hot in our room, but fans were provided, which was very convenient. The location seems a bit shabby (strip club along the way) but it's only a five minute walk to the metro, which takes you directly into the city centre. No or little noise disturbance. The only...
Clean, neat and affordable. No reception but instructions are easy to follow. Rooms have three beds and there are about 6 rooms to a flat with a shared kitchen. It is located by a few brothels but it doesn't take away from the overnight experience

The hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable. There are enough showers and toilets. There is also a small kitchenette. But it is not enough personnel to maintain the place, the halls are dirty and the check-in was more than 15 minutes in the evening. Overall, good stay for fair money.

Very uncomplicated booking process. Nice team. Parking space available. Rooms could do with some cleaning up (for that reason, minus 1 star)

A limpeza, as camas, café da manhã. Pelo fato de ser novo, tudo bem organizado e limpo.
There is no elevator and there is only one plug in the room. The staff is correct but not very friendly. The breakfast is included and it's well provided.
Clean, warm (was visiting in late autumn) and excellent for the price. Could have more public space as the hall is small and gets rowdy quite easily
Great hostel! Stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. The showers and toilets was clean and good. Nice breakfast. Recommended!!
