Hostels in Munchen

Room was a tad small but we didn't mind too much. There is a sink in the room which actually comes in quite handy. The breakfast was standard and but not a lot of variety. The staff was nice, in specific the receptionist was lovely. Bathrooms were clean. The location is good as it is well connected to the public transport and has plenty of stores and supermarkets near by.

The price for this hostel was very good. The bedroom was simple and they offer lockers with keys for safe storage. There is also a security guard at night which is nice. The shared bathroom could include more stalls since there was a lot of people in there at once, and a more private shower (there was just a short shower curtain). For a hostel the breakfast was good. It included buns, spreads, yogurt...

The rooms were clean but the bathroom too small, and it was actually separated from the shower. The food was OK, nothing exceptional but still good. The receptionist was very welcoming. There is also a disco so we had a good time here.

The hostel Haus International is a cool place with its own Charme. Alcohol is prohibited in all rooms but you can give it up at the counter an can get it back anytime if you'll drink it outside. Coffee is available for free with breakfast and apart from that always for 1.50€. The employees are well informed and mostly polite. The ÖPNV is nearby (tram and bus) and you can easily reach a REWE market...

Great service and facilities. Relatively accessible location. May be a bit noisy if your room is next to the road.

The hotel is very close to the train station which is a bonus and there are numerous restaurants close-by. The hotel has a social room downstairs which a nice to have. The Old Town is also not too far away, about a 20min walk away. During our stay there was a miscommunication between the cleaning staff and reception where we came back one evening and found all our luggage packed up in the reception...

I used it for a couple of times. It has a very convenient location near train station. It has a quiet and noisier sides. It may be a little bit disturbing on the noisy side if you want to sleep early or longer. Staff are friendly and helpful!

The location is excellent—just a quick 3–5 minute walk from Munich’s main train station, which made getting around super easy. One of the highlights for us was the daily free drink voucher; my friends and I happily redeemed ours for a beer each night. While the room felt slightly dated (maybe 10–20%), everything else made up for it. The breakfast was satisfying, overall, a very pleasant and convenient...

The bunk bed was fine. The shower room doesn’t have dry area to get dress so be prepared. The hair dryer can be borrow from the reception but the towel need to rent with fee. There’s one free drink for each night stay. Need to bring the duvet sheet and pillow sheet down to reception for the check out.

Very close to Munich central station, so the location is good. Look a bit old and quite insufficient lamps.

Osmanisches Reich is living here

It is a very descent motel. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super friendly and speak english very well. In the basement they even have a buffet. The place only contains one flaw, the dinner. It is a large buffet but sometimes the food looks real strange, however it is worth the price. The food in the morning is just perfect, a large choice of food and it tastes just fine.

This may be the best youth hostel that I have ever been in. I felt that the staff were friendly and I loved the fact that I could purchase public transport tickets. I also thought that this hostel had the best breakfast that I have ever had in a youth hostel. Keep up the good work!

This is a great hostel for families, 90% of people were families with kids. It is very close to the subway, they offer evening meals which we (couple with 3 year old twins) thought were good value for money. Rooms are simple bur adequate. Breakfast is included and is excellent. They have a baby room, a kids room, and a playground outside. Tons of board games for older children. I would stay here again...

Stayed one night here before heading to Zurich Quite nice hostel

The hostel located just nearby central station and consider is the cheapest in that area.

For the price the place was good but don’t expect too much. You have to pay for a lock which was annoying but also the price was 1€ a day for it. The bathroom though was kinda gross, people would leave a soaking wet bath mat on the floor and it just wasn’t pleasant. But that’s not in the hostel. The major thing was it was loud, I could hear people every night screaming in the hall and it had zero sound...

The staff didn't seem motivated to work. I booked this hostel because the other hostels have sold out all of their beds. I probably wouldn't recommend this hostel if you have other chocies. But this is very close to HBF.

The breakfast is disappointing not worth 8euros. The staff is nice. The room is not that great but ok.

Best location easily to access by tram 16,17 from Munich Central station. one saturday early morning,3 girls guests brought twe boys who were NOT guests in my dorm room. And they begun making love on each bunk bed with LOUD SOUND! i said reception stuff please stop them fxxcking.but the stuff did NOTHING unfortunately.i checked out reluctantly.is this normal in munich?

Young guests from other rooms at ground floor are active throughout the night and will be very noisy.

The toilet and the environment In the hotel is quite good. U need to using their app for requiring the clean service, but I did not use it. And the hotel is near the bus station (flixbus), but still need to walk for a while. However, it is far away from the train station.

I’m so lucky I got some good roommates, it was fun. Overall very clean, neat hostel. The fridge was too full so I didn’t use it. Other than that I have nothing to complain!

I had stayed several times in a hostel, though over 50. I had an overall great experience here. The service was solid, the room as good as I might expect with easy to use lockers. Close to the train station and a 15 minute walk from Old Town. The only problem was excessive comradeship that kept me awake along with a snoring roommate. Bring your earplugs!

Hostel was v conveniently located to Munich HBF. Just opposite the station where there were lots of other hostels n hotels were located too. It is opposite Leonardos Hotel. There is a Lidl supermarket down the road about 5 mins walk away. A good common kitchen is available n opened for long hours too. Guests are co-operative n keep the kitchen tidy. Brilliant location right next to the main train station. Friendly staff. Nice sized rooms. I liked the wires to secure yours bags to in the left luggage. Appreciated the free drink and friendly bar. Well run hostel that delivers well.

highly recommend this hostel! we only stayed 1 night but it was absolutely perfect- we arrived early in the morning and the staff allowed us to drop our bags into luggage storage so we didn’t have to take them with us, as well as allowing us access to the commons areas (bar and sitting area) and toilets. the staff weee wonderful and provided many great recommendations on a map we took with us, filling...

Stayed in family suite with two tweens. Very quiet, comfortable mattresses, super nice and helpful staff. The area isn't great but didn't feel unsafe. Would stay there again, great value.

The Munich Exhibition caused hotel prices to rise sharply. I stayed in this youth hostel. Although the room was small, it was very clean and tidy.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Euro Youth Hotel! The staff was extremely helpful with Oktoberfest tips. The room was very comfortable, and we particularly liked the cozy happy hour experience at the hotel's bar. The location was very close to both the train station and Oktoberfest. Highly recommend!

You can solve your accommodation in Munich at a low price. I thought it would be inconvenient because the shower room and toilet are shared on each floor, but it was clean and not crowded, which was nice. I will book again next time I visit Munich! Especially, the beer you get as a free drink is delicious! You can feel the traveler's sentiment.

I have been several times at this place and I love it. Perfect for a short stay with everything that you need and can find in the surroundings.

New and clean, helpful staff, mindful guests, great location but a bit for from the city centre

Very nice facilities, with nice curtains to shield our beds, built in locks in the lockers, and I particularly appreciated the individual fans for each bed, especially given the summer heat. Also with regular cleaning, and the cleaning ladies were very nice to me even when I stayed until noon inside the bedroom. The kitchen had all needed supplies and a nice group table where I got to eat dinner and...

Nice and clean place with air-con! It also has a kitchen plus laundry room. No need to worry about payment for the washer, you can exchange some coins with the staff. Location is not the best, but it's pretty close to a train station, so I would say it's not a big deal.

Incredible location, great staff, fun atmosphere.

The hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable. There are enough showers and toilets. There is also a small kitchenette. But it is not enough personnel to maintain the place, the halls are dirty and the check-in was more than 15 minutes in the evening. Overall, good stay for fair money.

A cheap hostel with private rooms

Very uncomplicated booking process. Nice team. Parking space available. Rooms could do with some cleaning up (for that reason, minus 1 star)

Worth to stay. Approx. 20mins from hbf. It’s located in an industrial estate. It’s pretty calm in the night. The place is pretty well maintained. Worth for money and stay.

Great place for a quick stopover. The quality was very good and the rooms looked relatively new. The communal area on the first floor is pretty small and didn't have a cooker, despite advertising this would be available on the website. As usual, the experience in a hostel is defined by the people but the physical accomodation is better than standard.

Clean, neat and affordable. No reception but instructions are easy to follow. Rooms have three beds and there are about 6 rooms to a flat with a shared kitchen. It is located by a few brothels but it doesn't take away from the overnight experience

There is no elevator and there is only one plug in the room. The staff is correct but not very friendly. The breakfast is included and it's well provided.
