We hafmd arrived via plane to Munich and needed a stopover before driving into Austria. Room was immaculate, and although very cramped for a family of 4, the bunk beds for the kids were full size single beds with their own light, so about as good as you could...

München City-Nord. We received room # and access code on text during the afternoon and arrived at 9pm Monday. Found parking on the street just outside the hotel. Apparently already checked in, we could go directly to the room and settle in for the night. Nice clean family room, no signs of wear not odd smells (we've previously spent a night in an apparently "smoking allowed" room - BB Hotel Erlangen...

We booked this hotel to explore the city and to go to a concert. The U-Bahn station was within walking distance and easily reachable. The hotel and room was great for a two night stay. Very comfortable beds. Free parking. The only thing is that you could hear the traffic noise in the room, even with closed windows, which was a bit annoying.

Nice place. Friendly staff. No need to check in. You will get a code upon reservation and you can use that code to enter your room and parking area. So just book and stay at no complex procedures no waiting time. I like it much.

Clean facility, easy to find, sufficient parkings underground and behind the building, option to buy all you can eat breakfast, vending machine for quick snacks and drinks. Hot water and clean rooms. Great value. Will stay again and recommend.

I really appreciated the cleanliness in both the room and the bathroom. The room was warm and cozy, which was a relief considering the cold weather outside. The bed was clean and comfortable, providing me with a restful night's sleep.

We went to Munich to enjoy the Euro 2024. The hotel is very well located. The WestendStrabe metro station is only 200m away, allowing easy access to all part of the city. The room was of very good quality, clean. The bathroom is really cool. The night was quiet. I recommend.

Nice and clean hotel, locates in a good central location. Friendly staff and good breakfast range. However one or two improvements could have made it a wonderful stay. No food available in the evenings even though advertised and the most basic of TV's in the room, (limited, and all German language channels), no Internet (you tube or English-speaking channels).

Typical Ibis layout. Clean, friendly staff. Nice bar. Good location close to train station and short walk to old city. Only downside is, like many European cities the neighborhoods around the station tend to be a bit more sketchy and dirty nowadays, especially at night. Located next to a Subway Station and around the corner from a grocery store, with a 24/7 gas station also next door. Parking is simple and behind/under the hotel. Staff was friendly! The location is amazing, very close to the central station. Also in front of the hotel (100m walking distance) is Trams 16/17 track which can take you to many attractions in the city. We had buffet breakfast here and we were very satisfied. I got my favorite croissant, egg and bacon. I recommend it so much because it's affordable. The workers are also very accomodating and friendly!

It's an ok hotel. Rooms are smallish, but not that much compared with other hotel rooms. They are practically furnished. There is air conditioning. The location is not very attractive: you need to walk 10 minutes to the bus stop and the next supermarket is about 10 minutes away too.

This is a 2 Star hotel so do not have high expectations in terms of in-room amenities like minibar, kettle, microwave, etc. However, the rooms are clean and cosy albeit a little small. Our room was clean, the hallways were cleaned, the check in at the front desk was easy and hassle free. We’ve spent four nights for the Adele show. The room (122) is amazing, nice and well insulated. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Cleaning happens every day. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. If I return to Munich I will definitely try to stay here again!

Good hotel, seamless check in and polite staff at reception. The rooms are air conditioned and the bathrooms were clean. Enough towels were also given. Breakfast was worth 8 Euros. :) Will recommend without a doubt. There a Penny supermarket in the same building and McDonald's nearby.

We spent two night in the hotel. The room is very clean and nicely decorated. It also has a great location and it saves us time commuting around the city as it's the first time in Munich. Overall, I'm happy with the experience and service in the hotel.

Small room with a comfy bed. It's in the perfect location near the train station and old town area. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and there was an elderly gentleman who absolutely made my night with his well wishes on New Year's Eve. They even let me grab breakfast early because I had a 7 am train.

The hotel is in a good position. The room was clean but not well isolated to the others. The breakfast was ok.

Elevator was broken and water was spread around emergency staircase (I do not know the reasons why.... ). I think hotel facility is a bit older, even if IBIS is budget hotel brand in ACCOR.

2 min walk to Nordfriedhof U-Bahn station entrance. Also the Lufthansa Express Bus, has a stop outside the U-Bahn station, which is a lot quicker journey to/from the airport than taking a train.

The reception worker (the odler one) was very helpful when we needed to print out the tickets for the game.

The staff were very nice and were willing to give you ice to take back to your room, and the drinks at the bar were tasty. There were no issues on my room and I slept comfortably. It is close enough to public transportation so you can explore the area without going too far and worrying about getting back

Fantastic hotel on a budget. We got so much more than what we expected. The beds are comfortable, everything is pristine clean and the decor is very modern and handy. We loved the USB chargers on the powerpoints! Fast and easy to access Wifi too.

A clean modern room, although room size is too small for my liking. Street noises can clearly be heard when we are sleeping. Room is considered extremely close to the central station and adjoining train stations, so getting around is convenient.

Room was a tad small but we didn't mind too much. There is a sink in the room which actually comes in quite handy. The breakfast was standard and but not a lot of variety. The hostel Haus International is a cool place with its own Charme. Alcohol is prohibited in all rooms but you can give it up at the counter an can get it back anytime if you'll drink it outside. The ÖPNV is nearby (tram and bus) and you can easily reach a REWE market...

Very fine place. Clean, very kind staff, quiet neighborhood, the breakfast is ok. But it's not so close to down town and wifi doesn't even work. There are always crowds of people getting in and out on the front desk and common areas, a very busy place.

I lived in a&o munich for short vacation, property very near to central stations easy access to bus/ Railway. hostel is very nice and guest services are excellent. Dont understand the bad reviews too much. Stayed in a double room during the Oktoberfest. Of course was super expensive but normal. Thin walls you hear everything, other than that bed with seperat shower. Personal was nice and even let us check in earlier (which was really nice). Location is great close to main station.

We were in Munich for octoberfest and Hotel Am Sedlinger Tor was great. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was great and just what we needed. It was clean and housekeeping was available whenever we needed it. The location was perfect because you can get around to any point of Munich easily by foot. Uber was available for quick trips as well when we needed it.

A very budget hotel. Tiny room with a tiny tiny bathroom. Good shower but drainage was very slow. No space for suitcases. Great little hotel centrally located in Marienplatz with super easy access to public transport and Christmas markets. Rooms were clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a safe and a mini fridge. As some other reviewers have said the room is on the small side, but as a solo traveler I found it to be ideal. This hotel had a good location , small and uncomfortable rooms,nice bathroom,WiFi was really bad, good food, noisy at night,good price, friendly staff , not suitable for family, near from The most beautiful places in the city and near from the city market. I like it and I am really like Munich.
