Munchen, Dachauer Str. 21 🧭 Map
Nice and clean hotel, locates in a good central location. Friendly staff and good breakfast range. However one or two improvements could have made it a wonderful stay. No food available in the evenings even though advertised and the most basic of TV's in the room, (limited, and all German language channels), no Internet (you tube or English-speaking channels).
Typical Ibis layout. Clean, friendly staff. Nice bar. Good location close to train station and short walk to old city. Only downside is, like many European cities the neighborhoods around the station tend to be a bit more sketchy and dirty nowadays, especially at night. If you are ok with that, it is an excellent good value hotel option
The location is excellent. The room was clean, but we had to think about how to arrange our 2 pieces of luggage because there was no wardrobe and space to place stuff. The breakfast was standard, the staff were very friendly, I love the waffle station and it was delicious, however I did not enjoy the breakfast because I went down for breakfast around 9 and there were very cold sausages and bacon, eggs...
I am an Accor member and this is one of the hotel they suggested. No regrets in chosing this one. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Room is clean and no stinky smell. Bathroom is clean. Room and bathroom is fit for the amount. The location is near the tourist spots, trains and buses are nearby. Breakfast buffet is not expensive💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫
Great hotel . The staff very attentive and helpful. The room are nice (but don’t clean everyday- which one fine by me). Location just 5 min walk (even less) from main train station. Safe area, close 1 min to the metro. Many cafe, restaurant and supermarket around. Overall value for money 100%
The hotel room was beautiful. The self closing bathroom door was annoying however but that was the only con in terms of the room. The location is close to the train station but is rather far from the city center. It is not a comfortably walkable distance. The check in was smooth and the staff were all lovely. Highly recommend!

All in all, a nice, useful stopover hotel. Not a hotel to stay in long term, especially with a family, but as a 1 night stop it was excellent. We hafmd arrived via plane to Munich and needed a stopover before driving into Austria. Room was immaculate, and although very cramped for a family of 4, the bunk beds for the kids were full size single beds with their own light, so about as good as you could...
München City-Nord. We received room # and access code on text during the afternoon and arrived at 9pm Monday. Found parking on the street just outside the hotel. Apparently already checked in, we could go directly to the room and settle in for the night. Nice clean family room, no signs of wear not odd smells (we've previously spent a night in an apparently "smoking allowed" room - BB Hotel Erlangen...
perfect location & quality-price ratio for EURO2024 in Munich underground parking digitalized access with self check-in / no check-out
We booked this hotel to explore the city and to go to a concert. The U-Bahn station was within walking distance and easily reachable. The hotel and room was great for a two night stay. Very comfortable beds. Free parking. The only thing is that you could hear the traffic noise in the room, even with closed windows, which was a bit annoying.
Nice place. Friendly staff. No need to check in. You will get a code upon reservation and you can use that code to enter your room and parking area. So just book and stay at no complex procedures no waiting time. I like it much.
Clean facility, easy to find, sufficient parkings underground and behind the building, option to buy all you can eat breakfast, vending machine for quick snacks and drinks. Hot water and clean rooms. Great value. Will stay again and recommend.

Our room was clean, the hallways were cleaned, the check in at the front desk was easy and hassle free. The breakfast didn't offer a lot of options but they had the usual eggs, croissants, waffle maker, fruits and a few juices. Also there is a grocery store right next to the hotel, literally a 30 second walk haha. The tram 21 which takes you to the city center is right across the street too.
It is a nice hotel, spotlessly clean, both my room as well as the breakfast room. It has a very nice design and seems brand new. I had a surprisingly large room and bathroom, with good light, a good light control from the bedside, and a very comfy bed. The gentleman at the reception who checked me out speaks eight (!!!) languages and is very friendly and with a good sense of humour, just as his two...
We’ve spent four nights for the Adele show. The room (122) is amazing, nice and well insulated. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Cleaning happens every day. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. If I return to Munich I will definitely try to stay here again!
Pretty far out of the way but you get what you pay for. Bus from U2 stop runs every 20 minutes and 40 at night. Staff was pretty inattentive overall and very unprepared for guest check in at 3pm, took them close to an hour to check in 5 guests while 2 employees sat in the back on their phones. Room was clean, clearly had smoke fumigation at some point in the recent past and the water pressure was...
Nice affordable hotel. Not ideally located, but surrounded by public transport options to bring you quickly to downtown Munich. You also have a few bakeries, stores, and restaurants nearby. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side but rather clean and pragmatic by design. Service is available, and the front desk will answer any of your questions. The breakfast option is decent, but dining options at the...
I stayed here on April 19th and checked out on 20th. It's located in Eastern Munich. 15 mins from the Bayerische Landärztekammer by S-Bahn and 30 mins from Munich Central Station and Bus Station. The hotel rooms are very clean and the bathroom and toilet are very hygenic. The staff was friendly and polite. The room Rates are reasonable for a night stay in Munich. We had an amazing stay! The beds were really comfortable, rooms clean and fully set. The staff is friendly and professional, check in and check out went really smoothly. The bartender was very nice, you can have an amazing night time here.
Honestly our stay here wasn’t too bad! The rooms were spacious and nice. The beds were comfortable! The bathroom however wasn’t so great. Small shower that is kind of outdated! Nice little reception area. However the laundry situation here sucks! It’s in another building in the back and it’s only got 3 washers and dryers! Always in use and no one comes to claim their clothes! I would plan on doing...
The rooms were super spacious and clean. Bed was comfy one nice touch would be curtains for some privacy in the bunks. The service was 10/10 everyone was super helpful and very relaxed. Location was great, little further out but good public transport. We would definitely stay again
The room was clean, with comfort beds, towels, one toilet with the shower and sink and another toilet with the wc and sink. There are many spots where you can change your phone. It's near the supermarket
Low cost, clean and well maintained. We stayed in family rooms. Good value breakfast. Convenient location close to railway station.
Good staff, really big, clean and warm room, however small breakfast area and the halls' wall were a bit dirty or not well painted

I highly recommend this hotel! Clean, spacious and quiet room, friendly and polite staff, fast wifi. Close to metro station (2min walking distance) and super markets. Nice and quiet neighborhood, 10 min from the city center by metro.
I really appreciated the cleanliness in both the room and the bathroom. The room was warm and cozy, which was a relief considering the cold weather outside. The bed was clean and comfortable, providing me with a restful night's sleep.
I had a great stay! The front desk staff, especially Shibo and his colleague, were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel also offers convenient underground parking, which was a plus. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend staying here.
We went to Munich to enjoy the Euro 2024. The hotel is very well located. The WestendStrabe metro station is only 200m away, allowing easy access to all part of the city. The room was of very good quality, clean. The bathroom is really cool. The night was quiet. I recommend.
Very pleasant experience. The hotel was easy to reach with public transportation so we were able to leave the car in the underground parking area. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and nice. It was a pleasant experience in general, even more if you consider the low prices. The only negative points are the very small spaces in the bathroom and room, and the bunk bed mattresses which are...

I felt very comfortable and relaxed at this hotel. The room was clean and well arranged. I especially liked the breakfast (it's a very important part of the stay for me and Ibis never disappoints) - variety of choices, fresh produce, well seasoned food. Late September still warm but A/C was off for the season. A little stuffy a few warm days. Window did have a slight ability to open. Room was clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Location is good for public transportation.
Conveniently placed near a train station, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, breakfast was good too. Room was nice and clean. Value for money
Indeed very good location and easy access to subway. Bed was comfortable. However for the price we had to pay I could have better options. The bathroom was build-in and to be honest not so clean! The sink was clogged and it was disgusting to wash hands there! There was no hand towel and only bigger towel for shower! They were so slow in the room service that when we arrived back to the hotel at 5...
Located next to a Subway Station and around the corner from a grocery store, with a 24/7 gas station also next door. Parking is simple and behind/under the hotel. Staff was friendly! Beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure and temperature! Good air conditioning! Breakfast buffet was average for the cost...coffee was not good.
I wouldn’t expect such a great hotel and service from a two star hotel. Everything was amazing! The metro station is in front of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you Ibis! You never disappoint me!

A pretty solid ibis hotel than often offers very fair rates considering the overall price level of Munich. if you're using Flixbus or are traveling by train, the location is good. For city center visits, it's also not an issue if you like walking. Rooms are standard ibis, you get what you pay for.
Well located. All good, rooms are in good shape. Bathroom was clean and neat. There’s no tea or coffee cooker, as well no fridge. As usual for many hotels unit door slams pretty hard which might make you wake up because guests don’t think of holding it in order not to disturb others.
The room is clean and tidy, and the location is great as it is very close to the train station. However, the air conditioning system doesn't seem to be working, but the room temperature is comfortable, so it's not a big issue."
This hotel has nice modern decor and was extra clean. Rooms have sound proofing which is noticeably better than many other hotels. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is also good. The room we stayed in was small and the mattress was very thin. Conveniently close to the tram which makes it easy to access other areas.
A good value-for-money room, close to the city center and easily accessible from the train station (a bit of a walk to the transportation for airport). 3 stars because the bar’s coffee and sandwich made me sick—likely due to spoiled milk (I couldn’t eat the sandwich either.) The hotel is fine for staying, but I recommend getting food/drink elsewhere.
The location is amazing, very close to the central station. Also in front of the hotel (100m walking distance) is Trams 16/17 track which can take you to many attractions in the city. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the room is really clean and modern. The pricing was very suitable. I surely will stay here next time I visit Munich.

nice hotel, service by reception was kind and welcoming, room was very comfortable, my only issue is the terrible internet.
Rooms are okay, nothing fancy. Check-in, check-out service is quick. Breakfast has limited options. Location is the bigget advantage. Overall it is good.
Solid hotel, very nice and helpful staff... The place itself feels not very right though. Even if lobby and restaurant are looking rear, the rooms lack style and maintenance, I had several powerplugs broken, some dust all aroh d them as well as in the bath. Apart from this it's ok, even though I would say it is not worth it's money €125 per night is to much for this, but it's a ISPO time so, that...
It's an ok hotel. Rooms are smallish, but not that much compared with other hotel rooms. They are practically furnished. There is air conditioning. The location is not very attractive: you need to walk 10 minutes to the bus stop and the next supermarket is about 10 minutes away too.
This is a 2 Star hotel so do not have high expectations in terms of in-room amenities like minibar, kettle, microwave, etc. However, the rooms are clean and cosy albeit a little small. Good breakfast and fast free WiFi throughout the hotel for hotel guests. Friendly, courteous and very helpful staff.
It is a nice hotel, everything is clean and people are very welcoming. They make you feel comfortable and give you all the information you need for your stay. Rooms are bright and spacious.

Great for just sleep and shower (shower was tight fit). No air and old pipe heat (we didn't need heat) noisy at night bc to keep comfortable window had to stay open. Service slow at first, but excellent and friendly. Appreciate the time spent there. Thanks
We were in Munich for octoberfest and Hotel Am Sedlinger Tor was great. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was great and just what we needed. It was clean and housekeeping was available whenever we needed it. The location was perfect because you can get around to any point of Munich easily by foot. Uber was available for quick trips as well when we needed it.
A very budget hotel. Tiny room with a tiny tiny bathroom. Good shower but drainage was very slow. No space for suitcases. Walls are paper thin and could hear everything happening in the next room and out in the corridor. No fridge. No kettle. No fresh towels. Would not recommend. Only positive was the young fella that checked us in
The location is perfect. Few meters away from the tram and underground. A cross the road you are straight in the middle of a shopping pedestrian area, full of restaurants, pubs and cafe's. 10 mins away to the main square of Marienplatz. The hotel is not very good... the value for money is poor. The only good point—perhaps the only one—is the location. It’s perfect for discovering Munich on foot. Decent ibis 🌠 Very good room isolation and room very clean. But not any equipment to make a tea/coffee inside the room 🥲 Also, few rooms with stuff to fix (toilets for exemple but they could give us another room but we needed to ask for it)
We stayed here for 2 nights. Quite area. Close to motorway. This hotel has parking availability too. You just have to pay 10-15 EUR. Nice service.
We had 4 nights stay recently there.. and it was truly amazing.. the staff is very friendly and helpful .. the rooms are great.. the best thing i liked about our stay is the location .. there is a tram station right next to the door.. also u bahn is 10 minutes walk.. really recommended and difenetly i would repeat it once again!
This is the 3rd year we have used the hotel for our Oktoberfest stay , it's a very good base to explore Munich and visit the Fest . Good for public transport links . Good location of the hotel with easy access to public transport. The desk staff was really polite, nice, and took good care of our needs. It heightened our overall stay with their great service, despite the rooms being not-so-great. The room was terribly small, with no basic facilities like toiletries or coffee kettle. The AC kept shutting off intermittently. No place to keep and access bags.
Good location for public transport. Breakfast service in the morning. Vending machine. Small bar. Parking spaces (not sure if additional cost apply for the rent? You need to check with the hotel). Ideal for short stay to visit city.

Elevator was broken and water was spread around emergency staircase (I do not know the reasons why.... ). I think hotel facility is a bit older, even if IBIS is budget hotel brand in ACCOR.
2 min walk to Nordfriedhof U-Bahn station entrance. Also the Lufthansa Express Bus, has a stop outside the U-Bahn station, which is a lot quicker journey to/from the airport than taking a train.
The reception worker (the odler one) was very helpful when we needed to print out the tickets for the game.
The staff were very nice and were willing to give you ice to take back to your room, and the drinks at the bar were tasty. There were no issues on my room and I slept comfortably. It is close enough to public transportation so you can explore the area without going too far and worrying about getting back
Just far enough from the downtown area to make it relaxing. Close to the subway and the direct bus to the airport that only stops across the street and downtown...a little dated but we'll maintained. No a/c but not really a problem. Feels safe and friendly area
Friendly and well priced. Room was clean and staff very friendly. Close to Nordfriedhof for U Bahn and most conveniently the Lufthansa airport bus. Few cafes/bakeries around and close to the English Gardens. I would definitely stay here again if I come back.

Good hotel, seamless check in and polite staff at reception. The rooms are air conditioned and the bathrooms were clean. Enough towels were also given. Breakfast was worth 8 Euros. :) Will recommend without a doubt. There a Penny supermarket in the same building and McDonald's nearby.
New and clean hotel, with an excellent parking garage underneath. Breakfast could be improved; we would have liked to have more bread choices or a fresh croissant in the morning. Only negative point; the parking in front of the hotel looks like a construction site in the late afternoon, the parking fills up with buses and vans. A lot of builders, who probably work in the area, stay the night here....

Stayed in the 6 bunk room. It had a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The room was nice for the price. The hotel has security at night. Location was great for Oktoberfest. Good breakfast and bar in the lobby.
Stayed four nights with a classmate. It was rather quiet at night throughout my stay. People on my floor observed the "quiet after 22:00" etiquette. Temperature was mild. Bed was comfortable. Front desk staff were chill and friendly. Guest kitchen was splendid. Rooms were clean and spacey. Free brezels were high quality. Location was convenient. Neighborhood was safe and entertaining. Great location and very nice staff. The manager is an amazing woman who will go to any length to make your stay a great experience. I had made a mistake with my booking but she fixed evrything in no time. Great experience!
The location is good, a few tram stops from the central station. Dorms have no AC, thus you have to sleep with the windows open. It gets quite loud at night because of the train station nearby. Be sure to bring some earplugs with you. Lockers are really small, you can barely fit something in them. Moreover, they do not close so they’re basically useless. I was there couple a days ago at business trip. Room was clean, well tempered, simple and fast check in and other arrangement, like parking and breakfast at site. A clean modern room, although room size is too small for my liking. Street noises can clearly be heard when we are sleeping. Room is considered extremely close to the central station and adjoining train stations, so getting around is convenient.
The location of the hotel was superb, close to the city centre. The room was quite basic, but had clearly recently been renovated. It was clean but a little on the small side. The room was incredibly warm, a fan was provided but was of little use as it barely worked. The temperature of the room made sleeping virtually impossible
Perfect location, everything is pretty close from this place. Also the rooms were clean and really all you need for a short stay in Munich. If you're travelling on a short budget, this is a very affordable place! To be honest I expected nothing as good as this (breakfast is extra however...but we didn't get up before 11 anyway haha. Recently, I had a girls' trip to Germany, and our first stop was Munich! We were on a budget, and this fit it quite nicely. Registration was simple and efficient, they also provided 1 coupon/pax for each night that was booked for a free drink. Nice perk! It works as a place to rest for the night before the next day's adventure but nothing too fancy about it. Affordable and good enough!
"Stayed at the 4You Hostel in Munich and had a fantastic experience! The location is perfect, just a stone's throw away from the main train station. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the density of the rooms, with quite a few bunk beds packed in, but overall, it was definitely worth it for the value and convenience!"
I stayed here a couple of times this year and also stayed at the a&o hostels and I can tell if you are looking for a hostel to sleep in, a&o is way better than this the bed is way better there compared to here. This hostel is not bad but I'll choose a&o any day , the only reason to choose this hostel is the location.
Super cheap, super well-located and super fun. This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was great. Special thanks to Faizal and Lara for being extra nice to me.
Perfect place in the perfect location. The staff is good and you get to meet some great people during your stay. However while checking in their card machine wasn't working so it was a bit of a hassle for me and inconvenient as well. So I had to run back and forth to get some cash. The service provider had been faulty for a week they said. Hope they sort it out soon.
Nice hostel, good price, excellent and friendly staff. It's located just one square from Munich Central Station, so very easy to get to public transport. The showers were great. The bedroom was full, but very quiet at night, comfortable beds, nice coffee room.

The staff was nice, in specific the receptionist was lovely. Bathrooms were clean. The price for this hostel was very good. The bedroom was simple and they offer lockers with keys for safe storage. There is also a security guard at night which is nice. The shared bathroom could include more stalls since there was a lot of people in there at once, and a more private shower (there was just a short shower curtain). For a hostel the breakfast was good. It included buns, spreads, yogurt...
The rooms were clean but the bathroom too small, and it was actually separated from the shower. The food was OK, nothing exceptional but still good. The receptionist was very welcoming. There is also a disco so we had a good time here.
The hostel Haus International is a cool place with its own Charme. Alcohol is prohibited in all rooms but you can give it up at the counter an can get it back anytime if you'll drink it outside. Coffee is available for free with breakfast and apart from that always for 1.50€. The employees are well informed and mostly polite. There was shower gel, soap and towels provided for the bathroom, the shower was a good temperature and pressure. The wardrobe was bolted to the floor and wall with a metal frame which can be locked with a medium size padlock ( not included ). There is a bar where you can...

We spent two night in the hotel. The room is very clean and nicely decorated. It also has a great location and it saves us time commuting around the city as it's the first time in Munich. Overall, I'm happy with the experience and service in the hotel.
Small room with a comfy bed. It's in the perfect location near the train station and old town area. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and there was an elderly gentleman who absolutely made my night with his well wishes on New Year's Eve. They even let me grab breakfast early because I had a 7 am train.
Nice and cozy place with very friendly staff. The place does not have an elevator tho, but other than that i have no remarks at all
Great Location, nice budget accomodations. Ok breakfast. Room is small, kind of river cruise cabin size. Location trumps a lot; very close to train station; tourist bus tours; FLIX bus; Lufthansa bus.
Room comfortable and newly renovated. Breakfast plentiful and of excellent quality. Only flaw is missing the elevator.
The hotel is in a good position. The room was clean but not well isolated to the others. The breakfast was ok.

I lived in a&o munich for short vacation, property very near to central stations easy access to bus/ Railway. hostel is very nice and guest services are excellent. Breakfast is affordable and kitchen area is properly maintained hygiene. Thanks to everyone of a&o staff and specially a receptionist person from Nigeria. I hope See you Again.
Short version: - I had a good experience. - Price for 1 night could have been cheaper due to the fact that the hostel isn't a 4/5 stars. - Building looks old. Stairway & hallways are tight. - Might be easy to hear other neighbors if they talk with a loud voice. - Good free WiFi. - Window view towards a closed space with old buildings, not towards the street. - Good bedsheets and x2 clean towels. -...
This was my first time staying at a “hostel”, I booked an entire room. I booked a last minute room for 2 nights during Octoberfest for around 550euro. Other hotels were double in price. The room was clean and the staff was easy going. Parking is done with an elevator(see picture and caption). If you have a large car you may want to choose a different parking garage. The radius to turn the car into...
Dont understand the bad reviews too much. Stayed in a double room during the Oktoberfest. Of course was super expensive but normal. Thin walls you hear everything, other than that bed with seperat shower. Personal was nice and even let us check in earlier (which was really nice). Location is great close to main station.
Our room was not clean at all and we complained a lot to the workers. They were really nice and helpful and tried their best to solve our problems. So the staff is amazing here, the place however not quite, that is why I gave 3 stars.
Very good brekkie for 7,9€. Very clean room, perfect bed and mattress,TV. Price for double room very good (35€ on the A&O app).Location is excellent. Wifi worked very good. Been here 17.06.2021.
