Holiday Inn Munich City Centre, an IHG Hotel, Munchen1 / 50

Munchen, Hochstr. 3 🧭 Map
Good city centre hotel - you can access Roseheimer Ptz S Bhan station directly from the hotel via the shopping centre below. It's big and busy used by air crew and coach tours. We didn't dine or have breakfast during our 3 day stay. Check in was busy but efficient and the room (10th floor) looked nice and modern with the bed facing the window looking out over the city. It was quite well equipped but...
Great staff! The bar is very nice. Well stocked, and with a good food menu to accompany. The breakfast area is extremely well equipped, you won't walk away hungry. As far as location goes, the metro station is located under the hotel! It is the perfect place in Munich to start your travels from. In addition, there are many local restaurants right around the block that are amazing. 10/10 would recommend...
A lesson on how a hotel should be run...great, friendly welcome. Efficient, clean, vibrant and rooms are nicely laid out and have very comfortable beds and pillows!! Breakfast busy but a real treat, worth staying here for that alone. Nice bar area where you can relax or have a drink, like I said a proper hotel. Location good directly on the S Bahn stop so transport good into city 10 mins max. ...
The hotel is a great location. It is close to public transportation and many bars/ restaurants. However, the beds are not the most comfortable. The pillows could use some improvement, as well. The staff was very accommodating and kind. I highly suggest this as a stay. The facilities include a gym and a sauna. Overall, a mostly positive experience with room for improvement.
More than 6 weeks travelling in Germany & I have never encountered price gouging like this for a glass of white wine. A 0.2cl of white wine is normally €6 approx. €8 in somewhere fancy. In the Holiday Inn, Hochstrasse I just got charged €14.50 for a glass of white. Daylight robbery. Nice staff though. Rooms good if small, excellent hair dryer. I would recommend this hotel but only if you do NOT...
I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that the hotel was well-managed, as the atmosphere was welcoming and professional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the delightful front desk agent named Citra. She was not only polite and friendly but also ensured that every detail of my stay...

Here’s the updated review including your experience at the restaurant: I recently spent two nights at the Hilton Munich City, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is perfect, being close to the old town, which made it super easy to explore the city's rich history and attractions. Plus, it’s right above the S-Bahn line, so getting to the airport was a breeze! The rooms have been...
Staying at Hilton Munich City was the best decision I made for my very first visit to Munich. I wanted a location that was near by all the museums and churches, not realizing how wonderful my experience at the hotel was. Perikli helped me with check-in, and he became my best resource for restaurants and transportation needs. I am sure he treats all hotel guests the same way he helped me. I truly hope...
The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect for us. It was outside of the very touristy areas and only about a 20 minute walk to Marienplatz. I like that there was a kettle in the room with a variety of teas, which were all good, and instant coffees. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the mattress. We would still stay at this hotel...
Best airport hotel I have ever stayed. Beautiful, extremely clean, neat & tidy and very friendly and helpful staff. Machine shoe polish is available on the walkway. Room is spacious and fully equipped with amenities. Breakfast is nice and not crowded. Executive lounge is available unlike many airport hotels. Lounge is beautifully set and very well maintained including the restroom. I'll stay here again
Stayed here for a night. On check in, Yuri helped us and is a great staff member. We got a good impression right away. The room was well laid out. We were granted access to the lounge which was a great place to relax and have a snack or a drink. Vishwajeet in the lounge brought us what we needed. We had to leave early before breakfast started but the staff was kind enough to offer some take away...
A great hotel in the heart of Munich. The accommodations and location are great at this hotel, but what makes it really stand out are their staff. Upon check-in, the staff warmly greeted us and made an effort to communicate with our young child. Without asking, they set up an additional bed in our room. The staff also provided amazing recommendations and made reservations for us at local restaurants...

Very lovely hotel just next to the English Garden. Found everything very comfortable except the A/C. We visited in early August when daily temps were in the mid- to upper 80s F, and the A/C did not cool our room much. The room had a little frig which we appreciated. The service was very good and friendly. The gym was ample with lots of weights and weight machines, three treadmills and some stationary...
We stopped there on our way to Dolomites. We picked this hotel due to its proximity to the park (we drove from UK to Italy we It’s our dog) The location is really good, beautiful park near by with atmospheric outdoor food and drink place to hangout. The hotel it self seems a little bit outdated. The rooms are decent size. We had a room overlooking the river and park. It was ok for a short stay, but...
So we have this hotel. It is not new. The staff is amazing. But there are some issues. 1. The key. You can't have keys that don't work with all eligible elevators. Guests have to manipulate the elevators to get the right ones that will (most likely) take you to your destination floor 2. The executive lounge; it's above capacity both nights - not enough seating, back filling of food & beverages is not...
The hotel is pretty dated, the staff wasn’t friendly, and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The location is pretty good though. Breakfast is expensive and the coffee bar doesn’t open until 8 and there no real coffee in the rooms. The gym has a variety of equipment which was great. There are other hotels in the area for better prices, service and comfort.
We stayed here on the inward and outward of our itinerary. Overall it was a pleasant experience over 4 nights in total. But over one quirk, in both occasions the fridge is not working. And when escalated, the reception insists that it is but no one offered to check. In our itinerary, we stayed at Mittenwald, Kastelruth and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Why is it that the family-run that we stayed in have the...
This hotel offers services at a very high level. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are huge and nicely decorated, although you can tell that the hotel has been around for a while. Sometimes the balcony doors are difficult to open, but the view of the entire Munich skyline from the balcony makes up for these minor inconveniences. I highly...

Wowie Zowie!! Some unhappy campers at this property! (Previous reviews) This is our second stay here and I can report that we’ve avoided most of the grievances voiced in other reviews. Our room is on the 10th floor this time, which has clearly been updated with new carpet, et al. Our upgraded room is spacious and comfortable. The shower is an awkward configuration, and the toilet if less than efficient...
Good and bad. Service was great, but the hotel itself was a let down. The rooms were not well cleaned, I only found out afterwards that I was supposed to have had a robe in my room. The shower gel and conditioner was empty, had to ask for them to be filled. Only toiletries were a single soap, no creams or anything. The room was covered in a thick layer of dust and the air-conditioning/heater did not...
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Just stayed at this hotel for 6 nights during the Oktoberfest. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and housekeeping did a fine job at servicing the room each day. Walking distance to the UBahn and Tram lines. Many restaurants and wonderful bakery share the rear courtyard. Would stay again and would recommend to others
Some of the reviews on here are very harsh. This is a nice hotel. The hallways are a tad outdated and could use a refresh, but you’re only walking through them for 30 seconds. Staff was friendly. Our room was very nice, clean, bathroom was large, 2 sinks, huge tub and a nice stand alone shower. Comfy bed, nice TV, came with bathrobes for the pool, little fridge & safe. Beautiful views of the Alps from...
One of my favorite hotels in Munich. Large rooms, great service and nice food. Stayed here several times and always enjoyed it!
Large hotel close to the city of Munich. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, abeit a little dated in design. The top floor pool area and views are amazing and worth visiting. My room was on the floor below and the sound of gym equipment banging on the roof kept me awake even though the gym was supposed to be closed between 10pm-6am. I complained and was not bothered by the sounds again.

The Pullman Munich Hotel offers a blend of modern comfort and convenience, making it a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is beautiful! The reception was extremely nice and also the staff at breakfast was super friendly /attentive. Everything was very clean - the rooms really nice. Our view from the room was really great but the breakfast is the highlight!!!! Thanks from Bavaria Travel Group
The hotel is situated in a great location for conferences rather than a holiday with family. Unfortunately the service was average. We were charged for disposable cutlery; there were sooooo many fruit flies in our room which was gross!!!!!!!! We asked for shower gel to be topped up and it took so long for them to do that! Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.
The rooms are really nice, clean, spacious Downside there is no soap or shampoo in the devices from the bathroom. In the 3 nights I stayed they were never refilled The staff at the reception is polite, helpful and really nice. Breakfast is diverse, tasty and healthy with a spacious and clean restaurant
I stayed there two times in the same month. The first time was really good, but the second time unfortunately the room not clean and prepared like the first time.
I had a great stay at the hotel. Clean rooms with tasteful decorations, nice terrace area ,Comfortable beds, great breakfast buffet and very friendly helpful staff. Pullman hotel has everything you want in a hotel.

I am extremely impressed with the Leonardo, their entire staff were incredibly helpful and most spoke English better than I can speak German. Love the breakfast selection and was very impressed with the bar staff. In fact from reception to housekeeping, everyone was exceptional and I would highly recommend the Leonardo. My only negative was that I was not able to stay longer!
It's a nice hotel for a family with a kid (it's not so easy to find reasonably priced rooms with 2 beds in Munich) with great public transport connection to both airport and the city center. Breakfast selection was amazing. I'd gladly come back again.
We spent just one night in the hotel, but it would definitely be our choice for a longer trip, too! Nice location, smooth check-in and out and the breakfast was extraordinary. It had the best bed we experienced in a long time even though it seemed scary with all the pillows and it being so soft. :)
The hotel is lovely and I love the decor in our room but it was so dirty. When we checked in the floor and carpet was full of hair, the surfaces were so dusty, the were poo stains in the toilet. We reported this to the reception and they said they would get housekeeping to clean it up but they never came to clean it. So I wouldn’t recommend it based on the cleanliness. All the staff we met were lovely...
Nice hotel, front desk and hotel management very accommodating. Food /Bar staff gets irritated with you when you order then nice when you tip them well. One big negative, two nights in a row...private functions happening in hotel that take all the parking spaces in the garage. It would be nice if a section could be blocked off for guests staying at the hotel. It is an inconvenience when the garage...
Extremely helpful staff, good price and excellent rooms full of everything you may need (coffee machine included). Comfortable (and big) bed, great desk to work on, and spacious bathroom with everything necessary included. Breakfast and restaurants are great and the wifi works perfectly.

Walking distance to nearby offices, but rather far from a city centre. A big plus for a delicious breakfast options and friendly staff - thanks! Good value for money, but quite often it is fully booked.
Nice view, lovely staff, clean and comfortable rooms, great service and a lot of choices in the breakfast. Good The price is suitable to the hotel. But I am roped there and told them but no things are going Nice view, lovely staff, clean and comfortable rooms, great service and a lot of choices in the breakfast. The price is suitable to the hotel.
A good, cosy hotel in the Munich outskirts, close to both Neunperlach Süd and Therese stations. Has a good breakfast spread and decently sized rooms. However it lacks a fitness centre (does have a sauna)...plus the restaurant choices are lacking
Rooms are relatively cold at night when they shut off the central heating. Bed covers are small for my standards. Breakfast is excelent as well as the service we received from all the staff which helped us in a friendly way. Keep up the good work !

Recommended based on my experience. Good breakfast. Friendly staff during my checkin. She was trying her best for my early checkin and getting me a nice quiet room.
Perfect for quick business or leisure traveling. So close to central train station so easy go get straight from the airport to the place. Good value. Reception desk staff were friendly and great breakfast in the morning.
Great service. My room was ready and delivered before check-in time. The receptionist was wonderful and explained everything. Breakfast menu - The buffet was wonderful. This hotel is right across Central Station and close to main tourist attractions. Highly recommend. Sauna and swimming pool on the sixth floor. 👌
Wonderful, clean, accessable hotel just across the street from Central Station (Hbf). Reasonable rates, excellent pool and sauna. All forms of transportation outside the front door. Trains, subway, trams, buses and e-bikes. Please note there is a similar named hotel just out the door of the station.

Main street in front of hotel was not the best aesthetically. Inside it was a typical Courtyard, except for the addition of a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was amazing. Hotel staff was amazing. The room was decent. I could here the people next to me loud and clear when they got back to their room at 2:30 AM.
The perfect hotel for a short stay in Munich! The rooms are clean and modern, the personnel is very friendly and it is located only around 5 walking minutes away from the central train station. The area can get a bit sketchy, especially in the evenings, but otherwise everything was perfect. Have stayed in this hotel twice already and would absolutely recommend!
Really good location regarding walking distance from many famous locations. The parking structure is very limited, like 20 cars max. It was a daily contemplation of whether to even bother using the rental car and risk having to park on the street. About 30 euros a day to park in the structure. The only English channel the TV had was CNN and no option to hook up your own device. I will honestly...
Thoroughly surprised how excellent this hotel is. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing especially Vanessa whom was extremely nice and courteous. Location is the best! This hotel had the best breakfast you can ask for as well. Highly recommend.

kind lady at the counter, professional and dedicated service and detailed instructions, the rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable, so I highly recommend it to five stars ~~
Very nice hotel (hostel) I took my wife for 5 days, cleaned daily, have a gig in the form of capsules for coffee and, accordingly, the coffee machine. The walls are thick, what's going on in other rooms are not heard. We were charged 16t.R. in 6 days (which for Germany is not very expensive).
Great place to finish out our trip. We went on a 10 day adventure and ended our little excursion here for 2 nights. It was a very relaxing way to wind down the trip. The rooms were very nice, staff was friendly and English spoken and understood by front desk staff without issue. Plenty of towels, well stocked mini bar, complimentary tea and coffee. Very nice
A bit sterile, no soul. I had a bad room in the corridor, could hear people in the bar and had to close the room door, but the room was already hot, and I could not get the airco to work. Large breakfast buffet. So OK if you need to be at e.g. ICM Messe. But I know better hotels at this price and better NH Hotels in the world. Looks rather like an IBIS Express.

Great location with a cafe, supermarket, and pharmacy just 2 minutes walk. There are plenty of electric scooters parked outside which could get you to places a little further down. And the area is very safe with kids on scooters and families walking outside. The lobby is cozy and always bustling with people. Marriott made our visit to Munich a memorable one!
We stayed at this location last year in December. we really like this location because it is not far away from the areas we wanted to visit . No A/C in the room but we just cracked a window ,easy fix. We were surprised we had to pay for parking since the majority of hotels in the U.S have parking included so when in Rome. I would come back to this place if given the chance in a near future.

It is quite a haul from the Theresienwiese, and it has been around at least 20 years without a major refresh. I had a reservation for Oktoberfest 2020 that was made in November of 2019. All email correspondence with the hotel was never returned. They refused to refund the amount, so don't pay ahead. It was...
We had a terrific time in Munich at this holiday inn. Good hot breakfast in a sit down restaurant, free for kids to eat. Pool was still closed unfortunately, but we had so much fun swimming in the Eisbahn. Very close to the Ubahn.
Start a day with a good breakfast, clean room and the nearest metro station is around 7 minutes walking. The Lidt Super Market just nearby (1-2 minutes walking) is a plus.
Clean room, great staff, delicious breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, you can hear the street through closed windows, the same with other guests, which you can hear fairly well through the door.
Hummm. My room was fine but there was so much left to desire: - Windows directly in front of a large construction site starting at 7am - Bus-loads of Chinese and South American tourists - swimming pool not opened, fact not disclosed at reservation or check-in - Breakfast restaurant feeling squeezed and hectic. - very remote. OK if for me you are on a budget, with a car and the (tiny!!) swimming pool...

My fiancée and I have been fortunate enough to be traveling a lot recently. We’ve been nomads for the last 14 days staying in various hotels and riads across multiple countries. With that said, this is one of our favorite hotels we’ve stayed at so far! The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and provided us with some fantastic recommendations within walking distance. The hotel itself has a book...
Let’s start by saying how AMAZING the front desk is… I have no words. I’ve never met kinder people at a hotel. They are helpful, understanding and we left to go to a different city with plans of coming back and we were able to leave a bag of gifts there with them. They are phenomenal. The rooms: so clean. I don’t know how to explain how amazing their rain shower head is… maybe it’s because it’s rectangular...
Great hotel located just a 5-minute walk from the train station and 15 minutes from the city center. The breakfast offers a great variety, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The only thing missing was bathrobes and slippers in the room, which would have been a nice touch.
Eurostars Hotel in Munich is an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort and elegance. The hotel boasts a modern design, with spacious, well-appointed rooms that are impeccably clean and comfortable. The breakfast was on, offering a wide selection of fresh and delicious options but not enough protein. Its convenient location makes it easy to explore the city, with great access to public transport...
The room was awesome in every way. The staff was very helpful. The only drawback is that its a 15min walk from Marin Plaza.
Information desk helped us so much! Gave us tips on where to go and eat. Good suggestions! Only downside was the room was a little cold and we couldn't get the heater on because of summer

Nice modern hotel, minimal furniture in the room. Rooms are on the east and west part of the building so the sun will heat up the rooms. Ceilings are high and the AC vent is set lower so cooling the room in the sun is minimal even with the curtains closed. Nice friendly staff, bilingual, and excellent breakfast.
Located in a quiet shady neighborhood only a short walk from the large park with the English Garden. The room was clean and in good condition and the staff was friendly and very helpful.
Modern hotel, solid breakfast buffet, decent sized room (for European standards). The location is convenient for North Munich - about a 7 minute walk to the subway, easy access to the highway, and close by the Lufthansa airport bus stop.
Excellent! Nice and spacious rooms with all the amenities we needed for a short stop over with the family. Had two rooms with connecting doors. Very clean👍 Check-in staff didn’t know much about local recommendations but the guy at the restaurant was both excellent at his job and at giving us local guidance. Food was good. Public playground, trams and supermarket close by. We will be back!
