Reviews
First and foremost, the staff were unbelievably rude. It felt like they were doing us a favor by simply acknowledging our presence, let alone providing any sort of service. Their dismissive and unprofessional attitude left us frustrated and unwelcome.
To add insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant, clearly inflated due to the concert. It’s obvious that this hotel takes advantage of high-demand events to gouge customers with outrageous surge pricing, which is completely unacceptable given the subpar service uncomfortable rooms where the aircon didn’t even work properly.
Furthermore, there was no room service available. In a hotel charging these kinds of rates, that’s just shocking. We thought we could at least relax with a drink at the bar, but even that was a disappointment. The bar staff were lazy and inattentive, making it an irritating experience rather than a relaxing one.
We deeply regret choosing the H4 Hotel for what was supposed to be a special occasion. Instead of enhancing our trip, it left us with a bad taste and a spoiled memory. Save yourself the frustration and stay anywhere else. Bad, bad, bad!
Instead of 1 room for 4 persons for 117 euro per day we were upgraded to 2 separate hotel rooms with connection door between them inside for total sum 218 euro but we did not pay anything extra
Both hotels are located in one building with internal and external connection
Check in queue in H2 was very long for 15-20 minutes, while check in process in H4 was free and passed immediately
Breakfast was in H4 Hotel as well and everything was surprisingly nice
Nice conditioning system, comfortable rooms and beds, fast lifts, calm atmospher
Parking in hotel costs smth like 20 euro for 24 hours, but there were many free city parking places in 3 minutes on the road nearby (just behind the theater)
You can buy dinner in 2 places: in café H2 and restaurant H4, both places were friendly
We enjoyed staying in H4 hotel, thanks for upgrade!
You can see our photos and see how was it
City center is a bit far if you have no car, but still it is an ideal place to sleep if you need just to have comfortable rest for one night when just passing München
I had the pleasure of staying at the H4 Hotel during the ESMO GI Congress in June 2024, and it was an excellent choice for my needs.
**Location:** The hotel is ideally situated just 30 minutes from the airport and a mere 3-minute walk from the conference venue, located directly across the street. Additionally, it’s conveniently close to a large shopping mall and only 5 minutes from the Metro Stations.
**Check-In/Check-Out:** Both processes were fast and seamless, although the lobby is quite small and somewhat underwhelming.
**Rooms:** My room was a delightful surprise. The pillowcases were incredibly soft—honestly, the best I've experienced in all my travels. The showers were spotless, the safe was functional, and the minibar was well-stocked. The room Wi-Fi was strong, although the Wi-Fi in the lobby and lounge bar was disappointing.
**Facilities:** The gym, though small, is very functional with modern equipment, and it provides water and towels. It’s open from 6am to 10pm. The sauna, which is open from 4pm to 10pm and is shared by all genders, was a magical experience—clean and thoroughly enjoyable.
**Food & Beverage:** The breakfast was basic but satisfactory, offering a standard European selection. The omelette chef deserves a special mention for cooking heavenly eggs. The wine selection was good, but I didn’t particularly enjoy my meal at the in-house Bavarian restaurant—the pork wasn't to my taste.
**Staff:** The staff were neither particularly friendly nor unfriendly—they were just there, performing their duties adequately.
For anyone attending a conference, I highly recommend the H4 Hotel. It made my stay in Munich great, providing comfort and convenience.
**Note:** The bar closes at midnight, so plan accordingly!
Good service.
Good food.
Good location.
Recepcionists very friendly and helpful.
The only minor thing regarding the room is that if you need to make a teams/teleconference the light is not very good but it's ok.
