El Beso Adults Only At Ocean El Faro - All Inclusive Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for a week during low season. We expected that we would receive top service, as the resort was rated 5 stars on many platforms. Let me just say that we will not be returning here. Our mini fridge was never replenished. We finished our small supply of bottled water that was provided, and had to pretty much beg the front desk several times for more water. The front desk promised that it would be delivered, which it never was until the fourth or fifth request (we gave lots of time between requests for the water to be delivered to the room - literally two whole days went by over the course of all the requests).

The best restaurant to eat at is the buffet (it is the most consistent). I got food poisoning on the night that we decided to try the Mexican restaurant. I was sick from our second last night at the resort and for another week once we got back home. The rooms and bed sheets were damp with the humidity, and I even noticed black mould growing in the bed pillows. However, the staff at the lobby bar were amazing, and truly were incredible, hard working employees who cared about customer experience.

Im not a complainer, but I would like for Ocean El Faro and others looking to book their vacation at this resort, to know about these issues. We did have a great time and made the most of it. We love DR and will be back, but will definitely be trying out a different resort.
