Occidental Punta Cana - All Inclusive in Punta Cana

We had a great experience at Occidental Punta Cana! The staff was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The resort is beautiful, clean, and full of tropical charm.
The beach is stunning with soft white sand and clear water, and there were always plenty of loungers. The pools were also great, with both fun and relaxing areas.
The food and drinks were okay; we’re just used to a different type of cuisine, but there was variety and always something fresh at the buffet. The à la carte restaurants could use a more special menu. The bartenders were friendly and kept the drinks coming.
The entertainment was one of our favorite parts, with live music, shows, and lots of daytime activities. But it was also easy for us to find quiet spots to relax.
Overall, we felt the resort exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun, and the staff goes above and beyond. We would definitely come back!

It has been a wonderful experience, we came for 4 days and have no regrets so far. The children's kids club has been wonderful and entertaining for the children and there's plenty of adult entertainment as well...throughout the day and until late night, the food is pretty exquisite also tropical, American variety as well. Great experience !!

The staff truly made our experience memorable, everyone we encountered was incredibly polite and attentive. Their warmth and professionalism deserve genuine praise.
That said, while the hotel itself is solid and well-maintained, I found it difficult to justify the premium pricing when compared to similar properties in Punta Cana. Other resorts in the area offer comparable or superior amenities at this price point. The hotel delivers a good experience, but lacks the distinctive features or elevated touches that would set it apart from its competitors.

Great place! Very nice facilities, a good variety of pools, and an amazing beach. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and attentive.

The entertainment for the kids was excellent quality, especially the activities led by Berenice Polanco

made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. They were always available to answer questions. I wanted to give a special shout-out to the manager, Fermin Abreu he always make sure we are taking care off, His warm and welcoming personality truly elevated our stay. It's clear they take pride in making every guest feel at home.I was very impressed by the peaceful atmosphere in this resort! It feels relaxed all around. An amazing pool and cozy rooms made it a great city escape to relax and enjoy yourself. Just what we needed to take a break.Everything was amazing!!

Great hotel! Clean rooms! Water, Pepsi in the minibar every day for free. Clean beach. Beautiful ocean. Food: fish, mussels, squid, shrimp every day. Lots of meat, vegetables, fruits. The staff is very attentive and friendly! The room lacked slippers, but these are trifles.

I liked the hotel very much. They settled us in quickly. The rooms are clean, they clean well every day, there is a sufficient supply of all toiletries. Food - they feed you around the clock, a good selection and very tasty. Fresh juices, fruits, drinks - a huge selection. Special emphasis on the animation - just super. It is not boring in this hotel. The day is fully organized - exercises, games, entertainment. We recommend!

First of all! Best butler is Carlos Rosario! You need to get in contact with him at your arrival, he will take care of all your needs and make sure you get a VIP experience! The resort is amazing with super nice rooms and views. The beach is fantastic. The food was pretty great and the restaurants were amazing too! All in all we had an amazing vacation!

After 48 hours of being here at the royal club, things are not quite looking good. We are royal club members of nearly 18 years. Today was an experience that I would never forget. After having a body massage at the spa we spent all morning and early afternoon by the jacuzzi. We decided to have lunch a little after 2:00pm. We walked in the restaurant and we noticed no one greeted us by the door. We found our way to the nearest table and sat. One of the waitresses notice that we were sitting and asked us what we would like to drink, we placed our order of drinks. Wendy the waiter came over and ask us what we would like to eat. I told him that I would like the shrimp bisque, shrimp cocktail and I was told that they were out of shrimp cocktail, I continue with my order and he left. Our food was ok! On our way out the door I notice Wendy walking over what it seems to be a shrimp cocktail 😳 I asked the gentleman was that a shrimp cocktail and he responded, yes it is. I don’t know what to call this, but I felt like I was discriminated by Wendy who the night before when I asked for a small piece of avocado to go with my salad. He very rudely answered me, if the green salad doesn’t have avocado why would you like to change the chefs menu. Wow, that was a slap in my face, I have never been denied any small request by anyone. This is obviously discrimination on his part, the other gentleman was a white male. It’s a shame that things are changing so badly and no one is doing anything about it or no one cares.
