The hotel is located on the beach of the famous resort of Cabarete specializing in Windsurfing and kitesurfing. The name of the hotel was in honor of the Taino - indigenous inhabitants of Puerto Plata, some household items which are on display in the lobby of the hotel. The complex, built in accordance with the principles of Feng Shui, there is a special, peaceful atmosphere conducive to a harmonious mind and spirit of its guests. Technologies allow the hotel to take care of the environment, without disturbing the balance between wildlife and human activity.

We loved our stay at Villa Taina. We were there for 2 weeks. The staff and location couldn’t have been better. We had a standard room which was totally efficient for the both of us. The hotel is a stones throw from downtown Cabarete where you’ll find all kinds of restaurants and shopping. We found the food in Cabarete fresh and excellent. The Domincan restaurants were especially intriguing. Their prices were excellent and it was fun to practice some of our limited Spanish. We look forward to a return visit.

This place was really great. Price was really cheap so we thought it would be ehh but quite the opposite! Front of the house staff was great, check in was quick, they gave us a 1 PM checkout and allowed us a 30 minute courtesy window as well. Maintenance was on point. Our first floor room sliding doors didn’t lock and and within 3 minutes of calling the desk, Jendy came and fixed it immediately. The pool is clean and cute and attached is a bar and restaurant that is open all day. They have a live webcam by the restaurant that is fun to send friends and family so they can be part of your trip. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Villa Taina for 4 days and had a fantastic experience. My room was on the first floor right in front of the pool, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The staff were super friendly and always made sure we were having a good time. Great location, amazing service, — I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Splendid hotel, incredible nice staff, nice restaurant and the location is just perfect, you are in the middle of Cabarete, but no noise at all, the access to the beautiful beach can be easier. The place to be in Cabarete, and to be honest, people in RD as fantastic, and the staff in Villa Taina is amazing

Beach front paradise! The best Water Sports Club in town, cozy villa with excellent restaurant, Serenade. The coolest staff. The town is peculiar and colorful. The hotel is right in the middle of Cabarete, very convenient if you want to explore the area and beautiful beaches and countryside. We love Cabarete!

We hat a lovely stay at villa taina. The whole stuff is very friendly and helpful in all matters. The food tasted wonderful and the rooms were cleaned daily. Would recommend the hotel and would love to come back again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The staff were fantastic. The town itself was a bit noisy and stinky however as long as you book beach side, you are fine. My housekeeper (Yanie....not sure I spelt her name right...sorry) was AMAZING! I wish I had more tips to leave for her. You will love the views and the beach, the food and the live music. I highly recommend.

This is our second visit to Villa Taina. We love staying here. The staff is fantastic, room service and cleaning every day and very attentive. We love the easy access to the beach, bars, and restaurants, as well as the town center amenities as well. For us being at Villa Taina is peace of mind as well as it gets us out walking everyday. We will be back next year and hopefully with a guest. Thank you staff at Villa Taina for everything, and your friendly Staff. Would also like to include that the surf/kite school next door, we found the staff always friendly.

This is my second time at this hotel. First time was in 2016. Great staff who were very helpful. They speak Spanish and English so no language barriers for English speakers. We stayed in two different rooms at two different times. First room was the Superior Room with partial ocean view. Second room was Superior Room with full ocean view. Both rooms very clean and with hot water. However no microwave or coffee machine. Hotel has a generator so you don’t have to worry about power outages with are very common in the DR. Internet was slow at times. Only street parking available so if you’re renting a car take that into consideration. Hotel is right on the beach and a 2 minute walk to restaurants and clubs. Very nice restaurant behind the hotel. Safe in the room to store your valuables. 24-7 security. Card access. Overall a nice place to stay.
