The hotel territory is very large, clean, excellent restaurant with friendly chefs and waiters. On the territory there is an excellent fitness room with many exercise machines, treadmills, ellipticals, bicycles. It has air conditioning, so it is a pleasure to work out with a view of the ocean.

Rooms were outdated they need a lot of maintenance. Long lines at the reception. Pools and bars are fine. Beach is great. Coffee shop, pizza shop and ice cream are a plus. The buffet needs more options. People are fighting to get seafood or any decent food. Buffet is always packed with a lot people.

The worst experience ever.. very outdated , no WiFi only in the lobby , and rude employees. This place has locals and they have no home training.. skipping the line for food no patience at all to get food everyone acting like they haven’t ate in days! We were at the bar trying to get a drink and was ignored soon as we walked off the other bartender who noticed asked us what we wanted saying come back i’ll take care of you.. But after being ignored why would I even want the drink anymore. Drinks don't even taste good .. cheap liquor. I never felt tipsey at all 😭 Every-time we went to the bar it felt like the worker’s didn't want to help us either. Everyone just stares at you when you’re walking around no smile no good morning good afternoon or anything I didn’t feel welcomed at all. Towel service is a joke! The fitted shit on the bed was crazy to me… like not even a real sheet & no comforter.. Air conditioner in the room is horrible . Food is ok .. basically the same food everyday. Tried to book for a dinner on a Monday & got told it was booked till Thursday lol Then to top it off we were told we were going for a complimentary breakfast same day we arrived next thing you know we are being sold a time share next door to the other resort… they wanted $2,000 same day for the CHEAPEST one 😂 & then payments for 25 years to stay next door lol I would never ever recommend this place nor come back!! Please do better & treat ppl with kindness!!

Very nice atmosphere, good customer service. The only complaint I have is the food there wasn’t a lot of options. I wish there was more authentic Dominican food but overall it was a nice place. The rooms were a bit outdated. Beach is very nice, pool is good. They close the pool at a certain time which sucks.

Service was great overall! The staff that were in charge of all the water activities were very nice and helpful when it came to informing my family and I about the banana boat and kayaking. One of the guys who helped us the most is named Rai and he made the experience super smooth and fun as well!

Good location, good food, staff friendly. Huge beach. Plenty of lounge chairs. Big rooms. Animation team does a great job of interacting with guest. DJ was horrible. Played the same songs each night. No skills. Great for a weekend getaway if you live in the interior and definitely a great place to stay that won't break the bank.

We enjoyed our week here. The staff are amazing and work very hard. The food was good. The beach is nice and lots of chairs, it's never an issue to find a seat. Very close to go into town for a day of shopping.We would definitely come back.

This was my second time here. February 13, 2023 and February 14 ,2022. The place is beautiful. Yes the rooms are a little outdated and could use an update but I am not there for the rooms, but they are extremely clean. My wife wiped the room with a Lysol wipe and there wasn’t a speck of dirt on it. I spent about 1.5 hours awake in the room. The staff were very friendly even those that weren’t that fluent in English. They would try to help you. The food this year was better than last year. Seemed to be a lot less crowded. I would definitely go again for the price. Beach loungers were an issue. People will put their towels on them and never sit on them. More than once I threw peoples towels off them so others could use them. The grounds and beach are beautiful. There is always people cleaning up any debris including seaweed on the beach. I wish they would change their room towel policy so that they will only replace towels if they are placed in they bathtub. I arrived about 12:00 am and never used them. Next day came back from beach to shower and only had one towel. I do plan on returning next year. Love the place. I enjoyed seeing Soto around the bar. He was always singing and picking up glasses and straightening up chairs.

Very satisfied about our stay.There were some small negatives but in general impression is excellent 👌. The rooms need a little bit of renovation but they were very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious and diversified, especially the fruits. Mine favorite was melon water 🍉 . The beach was good not excellent, but good. The stuff was gently and discreet, ever in position. Just an advice: if you want to buy rum do it from airport duty-free . So Playa Batchata resort is good value price- quality. We enjoyed our vacation 🙌

For the price we paid, it’s decent. Don’t expect a luxury resort. It’s a good place for an average vacation with a great beach! The beach was very good with lots of high waves! Rooms, outdoor areas, and landscapes are kept clean and looking good. The Lady cleaning staff was always working and cleaning in the bathrooms. The staff was friendly. The food was good and great selection. It has many bars. Pools looked nice. The hotel should improve its entertainment offerings, as there was a lack of activities to keep children entertained. Even the shows meant for adults were uninteresting and of poor quality. Overall not a bad experience for the first time.
