JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo

The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Everything was clean and organized. The pool wasn't crowded but it was a bit difficult to get to without going through the restaurant. The gym was also nicely equipped. The inconvenience here is the parking since this hotel is in a mall. When we drove up to the hotel we were not offered valet parking and instead were pointed to the underground parking garage which has several floors under construction. Once out the parking garage with our bags, we struggled a bit to find the entrance of the hotel. The employees of the mall (not the hotel) were super rude, unhelpful, and elitist.

I stayed in the JW for about 4 days in a double queen bedroom. The stay is really enjoyable with a lot of good memories. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. Nairobi Paulino was of a great help, can’t thank her enough for her prompt help changing my check-in time as I arrived 4:00am. Cindy at the restaurant, Lia and Felix at the front desk were amazing and made things very easy to ensure an enjoyable stay. Room 1403 was spacious and the housekeeping staff are on top of things. My only concern is that the ceiling near the HVAC air outlet had signs of mold. On the elevator, I met with Eric Garcia the Food and Beverage Manager and shared my concern. While out of his department, he offered a room change and housekeeping came to check. The front desk also offered to change the room which I refused as I was already settled. I hope the engineering team looks into the issue and get the ceiling fixed before my next visit. If you want to stay in a great place in the center of the city with lots of nearby restaurants and malls, look no further.

Excellent stay, service is spectacular, staff members are ALL friendly and polite. Language is not a barrier. All areas are clean and well kept. Easy access to the Blue Mall. Great views. Belkis is so nice and friendly. I will definitely bring my family to this hotel.

Absolutely fantastic experience. A+ staff. LOVE THE RESTAURANT. Romantic, Fantastic, Superb. I've now went multiple times and they ALWAYS give great service, excellent food. Can't speak highly enough off this location, the views, and staff. World class!

We got married at this hotel because we had a lot of family coming to the area and we wanted everyone to be in one place as the traffic in the city is horrible at best.

The initial introduction to the wedding and celebration rooms was done very well and the woman who showed us around was very attentive and asked us a lot of questions for what we had in mind.

We were also given an opportunity to have a 'taste test' of our selected menu about one week before the wedding and the meal and deserts on offer were small >but

Awesome Hotel situated in the best location in Santo Domingo. Blue Mall is located in the same Bldg. Restaurants are available at the Hotel and in the Mall. All banks have branches in the building. Reception and service is excellent.

The place is very quiet and clean, the food is excellent and the personnel very friendly and professional

This place is outstanding for service they make sure you're happy........ they cleaned the room everyday and 24hr room service is nice. I'll stay here each time I stay in the capital.... only reason not 5 star is because they told me over the phone I had a suite at hotel they didn't have available...
