During my stay in Cairo, I found most places quite cold in winter, but this place had a heater, which was a relief. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was reasonably comfortable, so I had a good stay overall. However, the amenities were not great—the quality was lacking, and there were no toothbrush, toothpaste, or hairdryer provided.

Reception was friendly and welcoming. Hospitality, assistance and service was exceptional. They really assisted as much as possible when asked. Housekeeping made sure my unit was always clean and in good nick. Please note the location is in the "New Cairo" area which is still developing and a bit of a way from the main tourist attractions. We loved our stay. The owner and the staff made us feel like visiting friends. The roof top terrace has an amazing view at the pyramids. In the evenings we all sat together with travelers all over the world and the owner gave us tips and recommended places to see. We stayed longer than planed and will come back anytime. Absolutely amazing time and we made new friends.

Hotel is good and convenient The hotel was inside an old building at 15th floor. We were really shocked when we had arrived, the elevator was old and slow. After arrival, the hotel was not really bad. Our room was clean and having the nice view with Nile River. The staff was nice and helpful. The best view you will find in Gizeh We get the old rooms but at the moment the owner renovate the rooms which are then looking very good. Price is high for a guesthouse but you will pay for the unbelievable view direct on the Sphinx and the pyramids. Also you will save the money for the light & sound show because on the rooftop you have the best view on it.

The best homely environment in Cairo with stunning views straight to The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx with affordable B&B clean and secure accomodation. Most of the rooms are with views to the Pyramids. I love this place, it's magical and you always meet amazing and interesting travellers, scientifics, architects, etc.

This is my second time travelling to cairo. I chose this hotel simply due to the positive reviews and the great pictures I saw on Booking.com . Everything was great EXCEPT when I booked a room with a balcony and ended up getting a room with just a window instead. I paid the price of the balcony and they said there's nothing available. If you stay in this place please don't book the balcony room because there's no guarantee you'll gonna have it.

Booked a room in this hotel(they only have a total of 6 rooms), booked with city view and balcony. The staff was very nice and the room was a great size, but did not get a balcony they said the other room that i was supposed to get had it but it was under construction. These guys are scammers!!! They let us paid €100 for 3 person for Alexandria daily tour. The tour guide was boring. The route to alexandria and back was scary. The driver was watching a movie and was driving slow. He was driving 80 km/h on a 120 km/h route. The hotel said that they had a pick-up and bring service to the airport and if you stay longer than 3 nights that this service will be free. But...

The hotel is well located in the centre of Cairo. If you have to do some sightseeing all day, the rooms are fine for sleeping and that's it. There is not much noise. It has a nice terrace where they serve a good breakfast.

We really enjoyed being here: Big and confortable rooms with direct view to the Pyramids. Breakfast is tasty and generous. The staff is really friendly and they are always willing to help you. You can reach the pyramids after a nice 15 minutes walk, and it is recommended if you want to experience a local neighborhood.

First time in egyp, had bad experience at the airport. After passing customs my passport was given to this guy who made it seem like i was being detain and he kept asking me questions about my stay and looking for proof where i was staying and if I was traveling within the country. Answered his questions and he was trying to force me to get taxi to my hotel and trying to get me to buy a tour from him...

I spent only 1 night there but i wish it was more because the place is amazing and staff are extremely friendly specially the owner he even invited me for a cup of tea and we had a good conversation. I have spent two nights at The Lotus Hotel with a friend. Staying there is one of the most beautiful experience of life. Beautiful location near Pyramids, personalised service and excellent food. It has a very good location near to everything and was a saver to be able to check in at 2am after a long travel. It was clean and good one but could be a little bit cheaper to meet the expectations. I didn't catch the breakfast so, I cannot judge it.

Location of this hotel is nice and the owner is a decent person, always ready to help you. Beds were bigger than many hostels I have been to and these were comfortable. Lifts were not working and I had to walk through the stairs with my heavy luggage. Bathroom was good but it could have been cleaner.

Location of this hostel is amazing for being right in the downtown area of Cairo. It is on the top floor of the building, 3 flights of stairs. The receptionist was very kind. She gave me coffee and cleaned my room with insecticide when I told her there were flies!! She also provided towels, so I highly recommend her!

The room presented had nothing to do with the one chosen on the internet, which said it was: I think, 25 m2, bathtub, balcony overlooking the street and I found a room without a window, dirty walls, a wardrobe without one of the doors.

The main thing is that it is cheap, the store is a bit shady, and for other prices, you get what you pay for.
