Great for a last minute booking
Location is the best feature. Room is relatively clean. Stayed there once last year and once this year.

The place is very old and dirty. The photos here do not show the reality. This place should not be on the Booking.com website!

The hotel was totally different from what is shown on photod. Very poor, not clean.

If you want a room with air conditioner that is leaking water everywhere and exposed energized electric outlet, it will be your first choice.
I told the receptionist about the leaking air conditioner and he kindly dried the floor and promised to call the maintenance as soon as possible. When I returned at 1.00 AM ot was not fixed and another receptionist temporarily put water containers to collect the leaking water.

Simple place, if you waiting fancy stuff, definitely this place is not for you, if you don't mind with it and just wanna a place to crash by, it's worth cause of location. Islam is a truly gentleman. Helped me when I arrived at 2 am, was at street waiting for us, brought our luggage and made our checking without further problemas. Wonderful staff. Truly gentleman

We found bed bugs upon inspecting the beds. Bed bug confirmed by an entomologist friend after sending him pictures. Hotel told booking they would offer us a refund but have ignored messages to make that happen. They wanted us to cancel our booking so we would not be able to leave a review. We left. Entrance a bit scary. tons of chain smoking in the lobby. Hotel lobby on 7th floor, elevator may or may not be working.

We planned to stay somewhere else, but had a last minute problem, and got off the airport taxi look for somewhere else. It was right in front of this place, so we tried, and are glad we did.
The staff are friendly, and gave us a nice room, with a view across the street to a beautiful old colonial building.
The room is large, with bathroom, and hot water. The street traffic is noisy, but less so late, but a bit of "white noise" on the phone and we slept well.
Great location.
Only small problem is that you can't call the elevator from the 5th floor, but no problem when going up.
Very good price to value.

Negative (place is dirty-sheets are dirty-the floor was dirty- the toilet had no soap or towels- they haven’t cleaned after the guest who was there before me, I found a pack of cigarettes in the drawer-you can hear all the talk from outside)

We were really early, gave us a room straight away no issues, looked after us 👍🏼 Very easy to find directly opposite the museum walking distance Location is the best,heart of the city,the room has a balcony with a nice view ,super clean,the reception staff is kind and so helpful,and attentive to the guests needs. definitely will stay there again.
