We booked through an established third party, and it was not stated that you had to have a marriage certificate upon arrival. As it is this hotels policy, we had to book another room for my partner at a discounted rate as we weren't married. Note, your partner is also not allowed to enter your room, they have to wait outside the building. This didn't make sense to me as there were other males on my floor.

Because we stayed in different buildings, I did not feel safe all the time by myself. I know as foreigners, we stick out, and we should expect a few stares here and there, but a lot of the unwanted stares was from a mix of males and other guests. We often hung out in the pool and reception area as those were the only places we could meet.

The hotel is close to a mall and the airport. Uber was cheap for us to catch everywhere.

The room was modern and as described. I will mention that because I was on the ground level, it was noisy throughout my stay, and I could hear people talking outside my window all times of the night. Also, someone's phone alarm went off for 45min+ so bring ear buds if your a light sleeper.

We got the continental breakfast, and the boys that worked in there were lovely, and the food was good.

We could not find a self service laundry near by, so we utilised the laundry service and believe the hotel used a third party. They charge per garment, turn around time is 24hours and there is an extra charge on weekends. They couldn't give us a total amount when they picked up our washing but we needed it done and ended up paying around 1800 EGP ($60NZD).

Overall, some of the staff we encountered were lovely, and others not so much. This place is great if you're a local or married, but we would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Room Is note worth the money you pay.
We were a couple and they have role that you need a marriage certificate to let couples book 1 room. So at the end we booked 2 rooms only for one night because we were so tired from the trip and then we moved to Conrad Hotel for the rest of our vacation. Same price for one room instead of two rooms and more luxury and comfortable also better location.
