Reviews
The food was standard fare buffet style but you had to be there early if you wanted it hot. The waiters were not part of the good experience as they didn't interact at all, didn't clear your table, didn't seat you, and generally made you feel like you were just an inconvenience to them getting off home. The one exception was a convey lady of colour who made the ommlettes/eggs/pancakes etc who was a ray of sunshine in the dining room at breakfast.
The golf course was invariably empty which was a shame as it's a good course with challenges for all levels, but like the hotel it seems it's past it's hayday, Empty water features, scrubby areas and broken up cart paths just slightly detracting from a great experience.
Overall, if you want a clean, quiet, escape with a couple of rounds of golf then it's ok. If you want to do more, get a car or stay somewhere less remote.
I would never put this hitel as a five star, Mabye two.
The apartment bulding needs a lot of restoration. The entrance looks a bit scarry. There were loads of steps to go in/out, and we had to literally carry the buggy up and down the stairs, as there wasn’t any other way. Everytime we had to go to breakfast/ pool or dinner we needed to carry the buggy. So if you have limited accessibility, keep in mind when booking with them and make sure you book a room not an apartment.
The parking of the hotel isn’t connected to the apartments either.
The apartment itself was nice and cozy, although it could do with better deep cleaning.
