Abba Garden Mini-hotel

A great experience! Amazingly clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in Spain.
Location has some of the best views over barcelona. Perfect for hikers looking for some scenery and close to buses and metro

Beautiful modern hotel with lovely garden and large (cold) lap pool, view of center and ocean, great breakfast. This is one of those hotels where they go out of their way to make sure that you are happy. Requests and issues are quickly accommodated by the duty manager who sits behind the check-in desk and jumps to help. Rooms and beds are comfortable and quiet, breakfast is delicious and complete - just ignore the breadkfast lady with chip on her shoulder who inexplicably thinks she should work in "hospitality" field.

The only unfixable issue for me (and it was true for all my hotels this trip) is they have not quite caught up with half+ the population who stream TV from apps. Large Smart TVs need to be configured to easily cast from customer devices, or better yet let us sign into the apps that come with most smart TVs, or add them. There is no reason to lock this feature out as it defeats the purpose of buying Smart TVs in the first place. If you don't want customers adding apps to TV - which already come on most smart TVs to sign into - let them cast from devices. Then heat the large swimming pool so it's usable in spring and fall and I will be back regularly.

The hotel in general is great. I stayed with my boyfriend for his birthday and we really enjoyed our stay. Clean, spacious room, the outdoor pool is fantastic and you can bring drinks or snacks from the bar there. We also added breakfast both days and this was really good. Our only letdown was the "spa". The jacuzzi was cold and never heated up, and the other room which I imagine was supposed to be a Turkish bath/steam room wasn't working either, so it was just a sauna. There were no notices of these malfunctions either so we were just left a bit confused.
We had no problem getting in and out of the centre, it's a 10 minute walk through a nice park to the closest metro, or taxis are around €12-15.
Overall a little expensive in my opinion, with some facilities not working, and no "Welcome drink" as stated in the reservation, but I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Abba Garden Hotel. The 24-hour reception was very convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to the team for assisting us with the safe when I forgot the code — they handled it quickly and kindly. Truly outstanding service!

The hotel has a small but very pleasant pool (open from 9 AM to 9 PM), and you can either bring your own towel or rent one at the reception for a €10 refundable deposit. There’s also a gym, a restaurant, and a lovely outdoor seating area in the garden.

The hotel is located near a hospital, with a pharmacy and Lidl supermarket just a short walk away. The nearest metro station is about 15 minutes on foot, but the hotel also offers a shuttle service, which was very helpful. About 10 minutes away on foot, there's a beautiful park that’s definitely worth visiting. Camp Nou stadium is about a 25-minute walk through the park — a walk I highly recommend!

The room was well-equipped with everything we needed: a hairdryer, toothbrushes with toothpaste sachets, a comb, a shoe sponge, even shoe polish — which was a nice touch. Room service and laundry service are available too.

Honestly, the only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer 😊

Have just returned from a 4 night stay at Abba Garden, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We arrived at around 11am after an early flight, and as our room was ready we were able to check in straight away free of charge, which makes such a difference when you've been up early travelling. Great pool, could always get a sunbed (although do have to say some of them were broken and could do with replacing - certainly wouldn't put me off returning though!) Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. Staff helpful and friendly. We utilised the free shuttle to/from the metro station several times, this was really useful. Thank you for a lovely stay, would recommend this hotel to anybody who doesn't want to be quite in the city centre but only a short metro ride away.

A wonderful hotel with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and varied, especially the breakfasts. The rooms were clean and equipped with fridges stocked with drinks and snacks. I would rate this hotel higher than four stars. There’s also a swimming pool and private paid parking on site. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

While the hotel offers a sense of safety and security both in its neighborhood and on-site, it falls short in several key areas. The rooms are noticeably old, with bathrooms particularly in need of a significant renovation or better maintenance. The pool area also requires much more attentive upkeep, showing signs of neglect.
The location is far from ideal for tourists, offering little in the immediate vicinity and presenting challenging accessibility with uphill walks from public transport. The on-site restaurant is mediocre, with staff lacking English proficiency and food that doesn't align with a quality hotel experience, and there are no alternative dining options nearby.
This hotel seems better suited for short stays for individuals needing to be close to the nearby hospital rather than for leisure travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Barcelona.

Clean, excellent breakfast, nothing to say!
