Location has some of the best views over barcelona. Perfect for hikers looking for some scenery and close to buses and metro
The only unfixable issue for me (and it was true for all my hotels this trip) is they have not quite caught up with half+ the population who stream TV from apps. Large Smart TVs need to be configured to easily cast from customer devices, or better yet let us sign into the apps that come with most smart TVs, or add them. There is no reason to lock this feature out as it defeats the purpose of buying Smart TVs in the first place. If you don't want customers adding apps to TV - which already come on most smart TVs to sign into - let them cast from devices. Then heat the large swimming pool so it's usable in spring and fall and I will be back regularly.
We had no problem getting in and out of the centre, it's a 10 minute walk through a nice park to the closest metro, or taxis are around €12-15.
Overall a little expensive in my opinion, with some facilities not working, and no "Welcome drink" as stated in the reservation, but I would stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at Abba Garden Hotel. The 24-hour reception was very convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to the team for assisting us with the safe when I forgot the code — they handled it quickly and kindly. Truly outstanding service!
The hotel has a small but very pleasant pool (open from 9 AM to 9 PM), and you can either bring your own towel or rent one at the reception for a €10 refundable deposit. There’s also a gym, a restaurant, and a lovely outdoor seating area in the garden.
The hotel is located near a hospital, with a pharmacy and Lidl supermarket just a short walk away. The nearest metro station is about 15 minutes on foot, but the hotel also offers a shuttle service, which was very helpful. About 10 minutes away on foot, there's a beautiful park that’s definitely worth visiting. Camp Nou stadium is about a 25-minute walk through the park — a walk I highly recommend!
The room was well-equipped with everything we needed: a hairdryer, toothbrushes with toothpaste sachets, a comb, a shoe sponge, even shoe polish — which was a nice touch. Room service and laundry service are available too.
Honestly, the only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer 😊
We’ll definitely be back — and once again, a huge thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay so pleasant!
