Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto

This is an excellent place to stay. Close to airport, complimentary shuttle bus to/from airport, bar/dining, shop. Room was very good in size, clean and tidy. Tea/coffee making facilities in room, stocked mini bar and toiletries in bathroom. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Manuel at reception is worth a special mention for his thoughtfulness and care.

It was a very comfortable and nice hotel. Although I don't speak Spanish and my English isn't very good, Manuel at the front desk was very kind and helpful, making my stay worry-free. The free airport shuttle, the welcome drinks of wine and water, and the very comfortable gym and room were all excellent. This is a hotel that makes you fall in love with Barcelona and its people.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! They really think of everything and have so many amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing! Nice and hot and great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious, though it is quite expensive to do the buffet (15€) so we did the express breakfast for I think 6-8€. This got us coffee, juice, and a croissant. Because the croissants were small, they lady working let us take two, and let us opt for toast or another pastry if we preferred which was very nice. Dinner on the terrace was divine. I told my husband I'd come back to Barcelona just to stay at this hotel! The only complaint is that the hotel shuttle stops running during a large chunk of the day (I think 11am to 6pm) which resulted in us having to pay a taxi to get to the hotel when we arrived at 3:30, despite thinking there would be a free shuttle. Additionally the pool was rather dirty and needed a filter change. But otherwise it had to be one of my top favorite hotel experiences!

Amazing hotel in terms of the perfect location and the exceptional customer service by all the wonderful staff, who are always smiling and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay truly memorable. The hotel and lobby are very beautiful, modern and luxurious. The check-in was very smooth. My lovely room had great amenities and a very comfortable bed as well as a lovely bathtub with hot water. While, the swimming pool was also amazing with the right temperature to swim & the gym was great. The buffet breakfast was truly delicious with everything you can think of. Thank you very much for this amazing stay and I’m already counting the days to be back.

Sitting here now watching soccer and the hotel has been great. The bar service, not so much. They have three maybe 4 people working the bar area, remember during the Spain v Germany soccer match, and my drink has been empty for over 20 mins. You can do better.
