Ibis Barcelona Meridiana

An excellent hotel that I would greatly recommend. Budget cost and value for money. Rooms are clean and well kept. The customer care is excellent. The receptionist allowed me to check in early without asking for an extra cost, and accepted to keep my luggage for two extra days while I moved out of Spain, still at no cost. Great restaurant with good food but limited items on the menu. It’s located next to a shopping mall with great restaurants too. It is also close to a metro station (L1 which connects to nearly all other public transport, with only one additional transfer to the airport in less than an hour). I would definitely recommend.

Loved the location of the hotel. Right next to a mall with lots of stores and restaurants, and pretty close to the metro as well. They served nice breakfast in the lobby. The rooms were functional, though I would have liked more things such as drawers, cabinets, and a locked safe. I also wished I could open the window a little wider for more cool air. The water for the bathroom was very nice, it was able to get hot and high-pressured. All around a pleasant experience, and I had almost everything I needed.

A very nice budget hotel near an entertainment area that has multiple places to eat. The room and bathroom were clean. The front desk gave us a transportation map as well as two papers listing the top tourist spots and the corresponding metro stations. The breakfast was an additional 11 euros, but I felt it was worth it. The hotel is an easy walk from the metro.

The hotel has a good structure, good staff, is near the supermarket and other facilities.
9 min walk from the metro, line L1 red. It’s a residential neighborhood and you will be a little bit fare away from the mostly tourist attractions, but in Barcelona is very easy if you’re near the metro station. I would like to consider that The air conditioning didn’t work well in our room.

I stayed in room 606, which was kept clean, quiet and bright during my stay. The staff of this Ibis branch were very friendly. On the day I checked out, I had to catch a flight. The hotel originally opened breakfast at 6:30, but considering that I needed a flight, the staff arranged for me to open breakfast in advance, so that my family didn‘t have to rush to the airport hungry. I was very touched! I want to thank all the staff of this store! I am very honored to have chosen this Ibis branch.

Opposite this Ibis hotel is the swimming pool of the gym. We soaked in this swimming pool for half a day the day before leaving the hotel. It was very comfortable and swimming can relax tired muscles.

The location is a big plus, the metro is a 7-10 minute walk away, depending on which metro station you decide to go, the hotel building is connected to a shopping center where you can eat and buy something. By metro, 25 minutes (8 stops) to the center of Barcelona. Nearby there is a large park with many opportunities, running, basketball, table tennis. It's safe around. Getting from the airport by taxi costs 45 euros. The interior is tired, but clean. Classic Ibis. The view from the window over the whole of Barcelona from the high floors. The room was clean and cleaned every other day. Unfortunately, the furniture is outdated and worn out in places, but we noticed that repairs were being done on other floors, so we were just given an old room. The breakfast is delicious and there is everything you need. Unfortunately, the coffee is burnt. The staff is friendly and tries to help. We are glad that we stayed at this hotel and are always glad to return. There is a parking lot and a large grocery store under the hotel. There is an opportunity to take tea or coffee for free at the reception!

My friend and I stayed here two nights. Although it is a 30 min ride from the city the area is safe and next to a grocery store and food court. The hotel staff is warm and welcoming. Great stay!
