Novotel Barcelona City

We recently stayed at Novotel Barcelona City for 3 nights during our honeymoon, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, Ivan at the reception went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. When he found out we were celebrating our honeymoon, he made a fantastic effort to secure us an upgrade, despite the hotel being quite busy that week. We had originally booked a standard room, but thanks to Ivan, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite, which made our stay even more unforgettable!

Not only that, but Ivan also helped expedite the preparation of our suite so we could check in early, which was such a thoughtful gesture after our long journey. His friendliness and attention to detail really made all the difference.

The suite itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we could need. The hotel’s gym and swimming pool were great additions as well, and every staff member we encountered was warm and helpful.

Overall, our stay at Novotel Barcelona City exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable honeymoon. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others and hope to visit again in the future!

Easy check in, the room was very spacious and comfortable. Appreciated the Rituals amenities! The views were incredible, so many landmarks visible from our room. The swimming pool was quite small and therefore crowded, but otherwise I would highly recommend.

The hotel and staff has been amazing and bend over backwards to accommodate me and my Service Dog. They even made his favorite meal supplement, pumpkin and he was very appreciative.
I highly recommend this hotel but it’s their staff that makes it exceptional.
The front desk Maria, Alex and entire crew really made me feel at home. You guys are awesome!

Our stay (family room), 2 adults and two small children was very comfortable. Especially our visit in the restaurant was incredible enjoyable due to the great Service of the waitresses Carol, Emerson and Luis who played with our Kids so that we had more eating time! :-)) thank you so much! The food was really good and we could watch the Cook preparing our food!

After becoming unable to get home from the middle of nowhere in the city, myself and 5 friends were helped by a member of the reception staff in the Novotel Hotel, despite not being a guest. He was greatly helpful and a comforting presence in what had been a greatly stressful night, there is no doubt that without his help we would not have got home safely. The degree of customer service he provided was over and above. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a great stay. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great as well. The hotel is well-located. We enjoyed being in a neighbourhood that wasn’t completely full of other tourists. Yet the Latin Quarter and other incredible sites are very accessible. We discovered some amazing restaurants nearby in El Clot and Poblenou. The local Ramblas is also delightful.

Second stay for me at the Novotel, travelling for business both times. Room, common spaces, breakfast service are good for the price. Service is very good, staff is welcoming, smiling, always happy to help. It makes it definitely added a lot to my stay and I will be coming back again next year. Roof top teracce is perfect to enjoy food/drink with a view on the city. Swimming pool was under renovation but it is certainly temporary. Special thanks to Ivan at the reception, very pleased by the service and friendly touch.
