The room we had was a little small but not tiny. The bed was very comfortable and the shower very good. It would have been a 5* but for the lack of a kettle/coffee/tea making gear! This was balanced out slightly by the free cold still/sparkling water dispenser on the corridor outside.

I loved staying at this hotel. The beautiful lobby is a wonderful place to spend time and cool-down in between sightseeing, super comfortable beds, relaxed breakfast and truly lovely staff… our whole family really enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait to come back someday. Thank you!

Convenient location right off the La Rambla, plenty of shops and restaurants right out the front door. Our room was large enough to accommodate two twin beds and a crib provided by the hotel. A/C in the room was a little weak, but it was able to keep the room comfortable enough during some pretty hot days. We kept the blackout curtains closed while.were out to help keep it cool. More outlets than we knew what to do with, plenty of light, clean bathrooms. We were on the 4th floor, and while we could hear the traffic and noise of the street below, our toddler slept just fine.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, never had a bad interaction. I had read reviews about the area being rowdy after hours and security concerns, but I never felt unsafe with my wife and daughter, as along you take precautions like in any busy city. Would recommend, would stay again.

Wonderful hotel. Our family of 12 had 3 rooms, all with balconies, 2 overlooking La Ramblas. The location were perfect and central to everything we wanted to see. The lobby was beautiful and the rooms were a decent size. The water pressure was excellent and the room cleaning was excellent. You could hear the metro rumble below but not a big issue. Also I found that it wasn't too noisy even on weekend nights which was nice. It was nice watching people walk by on La Rambla. The one issue was that we couldn't adjust the temperature of the room to be cooler. Some days it was a bit stuffy but that would be my only issue. I would stay at this location again!

Amazing stay…but

Pros: Wow, this place is an absolute gem! It's so local and conveniently close to all the attractions. The hotel lobby is stunning and perfect for snapping some great OOTD photos.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful.

But….

Cons: The toilet smells funny (like a couple having sex all day if you know what I mean and it needs proper bleaching)

The bed is two single-joint together and it's not stable and it keeps drifting apart, when I requested one large bed.

Overall I still recommend staying in this hotel.

Absolutely loved staying in such a prime location on the Rambla. The lobby was beautiful and staff was lovely. The hotel itself is older and dated and the bedrooms really need upgrades. It’s also incredibly noisy given the location. We could hear people partying till 3 in the morning. You can also hear the other guests from your bedroom. I would stay here again only if I want to be in such a prime location!

Lovely place to stay right on la Rambla. We loved it. Hotel lobby was stunning. Felt like walking into an old Cuban hotel. Some of the hotel corridors leading to rooms could do with an update but other than than it was a very nice hotel with a great location.

Great location, staff very friendly, rooms very clean. Beds were comfy more on the firmer side. You can hear the train underneath the building but its more a quiet vibration.

4/5 because it did not have AC. Apparently it is not turned on during the spring and we could not open a window in our room.

We are very happy with our choice because hotel is excellent. Hotel building is very authentic from outside, reception as well. Our room was excellent located - to the quite side. So, room was very simple not matched with nice reception style. no complain about cleanness. What we have missed are glasses.
Staff in reception very helpful and nice, especially Ieva. She helped us with advices how to get into places, recommended places where to eat. Highly recommend!
