We went on a family holiday there was 12 of us 11 of us stayed at a different hotel but my daughter's father in law stayed here but at our hotel there was no entertainment so we went to the this hotel every day and night for food and entertainment and even thow we didn't stay there that welcomed us all in tall the staff and the hotel were brilliant if we ever went back to Spain we would only stay here...

Myself and partner are due to arrive 19th July as an overdue anniversary. We would normally have come every year but due to partner battling cancer we missed last year

The building works outside the hotel are only an issue if you want it to be. What did surprise me that some fellow guests don't tidy up while leaving the poolside. Plenty bins to dispose your rubbish Happy holidays

Had a fantastic holiday at golden donaire beach hotel. This year with family and met friends. Fantastic weather new restaurant (took a few days to get used to it) staff from reception

I have been to this hotel few times the entertainment is amazing and food choice very good. As the doors to pool dont open till 9 am the queue got bigger and bigger and if u dont queue u dont get a sunbed

The pool no ball games, no large rings. I checked with the lifeguard that by going for lunch she would not be putting a ticket on our beds as she was very eager to do this and remove towels

Everyone here is very nice people,the food its good,the bar guys very friendly.the entertainment team very nice people,jairol very nice guy

Ok so how on earth did we know, some get tickets emailed via TUI some get them in a pack at check in and others should know they should ask for them! Then the biggest lie ever to be told they have been putting notes through our door every day to tell us to collect them, to this day I can 100 % assure anyone no notes were put through our door, surely they cannot think we would ignore them it could...

When we were questioning why we hadn’t got our tickets all she kept saying was you should have collected them on the 1/2 day, we could not make her understand we didn’t know we were suppose to collect them

We had made other plans for the day. Rang TUI where we booked it, same again no interest. Sent off complaint and eventually a lady called Katherine took the issue up and sorted as best she could

When I got back she had put tickets on them. But others that disappeared for several hours she chose to ignore! Now the downside, the in resort rep only interested in selling tickets to events

The outdoor bar area also serves amazing burgers, hotdogs, pizzas, chips, crisps, and other snacks all part of the all inclusive! The drinks are all named too, proper Smirnoff vodka, JD, etc! Rooms: 2 x double beds per room, air con as standard, we paid for the safe, and the balcony is a good side

Plenty of wardrobe space too. Negative… I broke my ankle on my first day. That’s it, not the hotels fault. However, the staff arranged a wheelchair hire with crutches, they assisted with booking taxis to hospitals etc

Fresh towels each day, and cleaned each day. I read a review which mentioned about only having one pillow per bed…ask for more? We did and they happily gave us 3 more. Bathroom has fresh towels, a bath, and a shower

You can also have a fresh omelette or toastie made for you each day. Lunch is 1300-1500 Typically consists of meats - like kebabs, chickens, pork’s, with a selection of meats, fresh fruit, and lots of desserts

Dinner is 1900-2200ish Again, similar to lunch, plenty of veg, meats, etc and lots of desserts to choose from. Drinks at dinner are typical bar drinks, again available inside during dinner in the food hall

The staff in general are all amazing, one even offered to go home and get me a set of her crutches for me to use for the week! Entertainment: Children’s entertainment starts at 2100hrs, typically consists of balloon making, magicians, discos etc

Great beach, many pools, big and free spa, nice and clean area, modern hotel, good parking also for big cars, friendly staff, good breakfast, good room and comfy bed, nice bathroom

Details: The TV was a bit small and some foreign channels did not work, it would have been great if there had been also soft matrasses around the outdoor pools

Beautiful hotel with modern rooms, fresh breakfast, friendly staff and great facilities and very close to the beach - can't fault it from this perspective! However they allowed a company event party to go way past midnight, in the middle of the week, without at least warning any of the other residents (a written warning at the entrance would have been enough)

Perfect location. 1 minute from the beach. Internet/wifi is horrendous. We got a tiny room. No one in the buffet speaks English a bit. Food is alright.

What is this???? I asked for a lemonade, not for a 7up lemon! Also a lot of staff don't speak english. Still the food is amazing and the experiences were fantastic!

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. The hotel itself was very nice and clean, with a spacious bathroom. The window offered a beautiful view of the sea and a wide sandy beach

Small hotel which is maybe why we settled in immediately. Located on the beach so we were overlooking the sea which was fantastic. Everything immaculately clean

Dinner was delicious, with a large variety of dishes to choose from — just make sure to come a bit earlier to get a free table. The town itself is calm and cozy, perfect for a relaxing holiday

Staff was very friendly and helpful - all of our requests were successfully resolved. For instance, we booked an option with breakfast and dinner included, but by our request we could change it to breakfast-lunch

Perfect location next to the beach, plenty of swimming pools, rooms are clean and spacious better than what we expected

Plenty of choice even for the pickiest of eaters. The entertainment every evening was great fun the team certainly put on a good show. The pools are spacious and the adult area was really nice also

Our room was lucky enough to have a sea view, the bed was super comfy and huge! Bathroom was super roomy with a really nice shower, also have a bath so take a bath bomb and take advantage

Close to the sea front literally a 2 min walk with the option of taxis and buses. Direct buses into Salou, Tarragona and also to PortAventura

Alexandra was at reception and she was so helpful and very pleasant. All inclusive was excellent, cocktails on tap, and the food considering its mass cooking was always fresh and really nice

The hotel is stunning, and very very clean

And the swimming pool area is fabulous. But the shop needs more items and also the prices at the bar are expensive. Stock up before you go! Receptionist who checked us in really friendly and helpful

Our 3rd visit after summer 2017 and easter 2018. Large pitches wit plenty of space. Good cantine with enough choice for food and beverages. One of the best swimming pools i ve seen on campings

Friendly peope at reception, personal and very good security. Minus: not allowed friends from outside camping. Sanitary clean, twice or trice a day cleaned

I found it very complicated to book online in order to get the advance booking discount, but even with that at 26€ it was a lot dearer than most

Please, please join ACSI and let others experience your site and La Pineda. Facilities immaculate and easy walk into town

The pool areas are lovely however very busy, unfortunately the no sunbed reserving policy is not enforced and there were queues for beds every morning

Just back from holidaying at this hotel it was beautiful staff so friendly and helpful. Entertainment every day and night. Loved the pool area and the roof top pool too great views Can’t wait to go back again

The pool was the perfect temperature, and there was always something to do with great entertainment on offer

During my 7 days stay there were only 2 evening “disco” sessions on rooftop with pool and bar, and the playlist again was more suitable for 40+ audience

The staff are incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible—nothing is ever too much trouble

The food is absolutely amazing—hands down the best hotel food I’ve ever had on holiday. The whole hotel smells divine (I even bought the signature reed diffuser to take a bit of that scent home with me!)

The kids club was a fantastic break from the heat and gave the children a chance to play, rest, and make new friends. It also gave us adults some time to enjoy the poolside calm

Also the staff very friendly and helpful. Maybe something to add,a little too crowded at the dinner time and loud in the evening until 23. 15,if you have a pool view room

Breakfast was ok it was something to eat and only paid because I really needed a coffee. We did this a couple of days. Pool for the kids is fantastic. The only downfall is the pool does not open till 10am

Positives: Lovely hotel and location, close to beach which is lovely, no pebbles and sea is shallow and calm. Pool area is great for kids but gets very busy and doesn’t open until 10am

Clean apartments, private kitchen, nice restaurant, great and friendly staff always ready to help. Loved our stay in 2019 and wish the pandemic be over asap and we will definitely come back to this fabulous place

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The breakfast wasn’t too brilliant but the friendly atmosphere and lovely ambiance made up for it

Wanted to say thank you to the staff and the owners of the hotel for making our stay as comfy as possible

After complaining to reception (where no one speaks French, thank you Google translation), the hotel put us in another apartment where not everything was great (burned out wall light bulb, broken TV)

Very close to the hotel was a supermarket, a lovely small beach accessible by steps and a travel agent place where you could book trips from. We walked to Route 66 one evening and had a lovely meal there

We booked this 3 days before our arrival. It is not our usual holiday destination/style. But we wanted some sunshine at short notice

We didn’t have to queue at all, got our room key and we were situate in a room on the first floor, ideally located at the very end of the corridor. Room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows

However, we found the dining hall complete sensory overload with unbelievable noise and rudeness of other guests barging about. Plates were knocked out of people’s hands, so I had to accompany our children up and down

The pools are all great for small children with the pirate ship in particular a huge attraction for our 7 and 10 year olds

There is a small beer fridge in the room, which is ample for cold drinks, not much room for anything else. The balcony was pleasant and had patio furniture a long with a clothes dryer

Not many restaurants around, but the hotel had a great shop for snacks etc, the hotel food was very nice, pool area was great, the kids loved the kids pool with great water features

There are two beaches that are absolutely beautiful, they are a 5 min walk, beautiful soft sand

When there was an incident with the flood of rooms, many residents were lucky that they were inside the room at that moment and were able to take out their things on their own because the hotel employees did not worry about the safety of visitors' documents, phones and laptops and you would not even be told that there was a flood in your room and that your things were flooding at the moment

As a result, we were given another room that had only two sockets at floor level, which were difficult to find, we had to move the table with a mini refrigerator at 1 a

We pay the same money as everyone else and deserve polite treatment and attention. When we checked out of the hotel, the staff also did not apologize for the situation at night and did not compensate for anything

The restaurant area is large and beautiful, there is an outdoor terrace with sea view where we loved having dinner and lunch. The food is always varied, quality and in abundance

The corridors are covered with old, worn-out carpet. It's good that there is a swimming pool with slides for different ages on the territory

From the swimming pools with slides and games for both adults and children, to the open pool and the indoor thermal pool that we really appreciated in the "cooler" hours, to the immediate access to the small and private beach below where we spent magnificent moments, from the beach the view is truly unique and the sunset wonderful! There is a bar/bathroom in both pool areas and it was very convenient...

A holiday above expectations! It was the first time in Salou and the first time at the Best Cap Salou hotel, we had seen from the photos how beautiful the structure was, but in person it is even more so

What we received was incredible, the reserved table in the center of the room with balloons and decorations, taken care of down to the smallest detail, even the number 2 candle for our son

We spent 8 nights in this magnificent place together with our child, we can say that the structure has everything, nothing is missing

The pool was clean too and I liked that the staff focused on the rules

The rooms themselves are very nicely put together and the decor is modern, they felt clean and well maintained as did the internal side of the hotel definitely a class above what was on offer in terms of the pools and outdoor seating areas

Genuinely a nice and clean, affordable hotel to use a base to explore salou. If I was someone who spent more time in the hotel and less on the beach and surrounding restaurants I wouldn’t recommend it

The location is good, it’s one of the further hotels from the main salou beach and strip but it’s still closely situated, a 15 minute walk will get you to the beach and 7 minute walk to the strip

The pools are not big enough to accommodate the volume of customers and aren’t much to look at

I stayed here for a few days in mid April on my son's school tour and we really had a great stay , the hotel is very clean and well maintained ,the food we really enjoyed especially the various varieties which I would not normally try but did

The rooms were tidied daily and an excellent size for the price. I highly recommend opting for a sea-view room for the sunset alone. They were clean, modern and contained a good range of amenities

The local area is quiet and the new promenade makes beach walks a must. The sea is clear, clean and a good temperature (we went in September) with respectful beachgoers

An absolute delight - this hotel exceeded our expectations by miles. Despite visiting towards the end of what we assume was a busy summer season, the staff made us feel so welcomed

The drinks are also varied and a good strength - I recommend the sangria with every meal! As a gay couple it can be difficult to travel to other countries as you are unsure of how other guests will treat you, however the staff made sure we were always welcome and we felt very safe in their hands

We had a lovely stay at Best Negresco. The sea view was stunning from our room even though we didn’t book it! The beach was a 2 minute walk, perfect location. Plenty of varieties of food to choose from

Right next to the sea for lovely views (the sun set is unreal) beach’s minutes walk away. Thank you for a lovely and deserved week away with you!

Reception staff seem to go above & beyond, super friendly and approachable. After researching the area and other hotels prior to booking this, I'm super glad that we made the choice and went with Best Negresco

Absolutely lovely place to stay! We got a sea view room and the views were stunning. After reading reviews I was unsure I would enjoy the food but every meal every night was fantastic, big variety

The hotel is located right on the coast. It is far away from anything urban and is very peaceful. Seaview rooms offer very beautiful views and sounds of the sea

I am staying in the hotel right now as I write this there only a couple of issues the Lifts there two in main reception and one around the side used by cleaners or service

The hotel is not so far from main town if your looking for a great meal in town you must Visit Tim and Jane at the Old Brown Cow near the Dolphin Hotel the Pub Resturant caters for every possible needs the beers and cocktails are excellent and refreshing the locals visit there as well Sunday Dinners are really tasty and yummy so if your look for a Sunday Roast Visit Old Brown cow closed Tuesdays

The food is really good one such guy at breakfast who cooks the eggs will cook my eggs as I want them the guy who cooks the omelets is helpful as well he will make them as you like them plus he makes the pancakes as well over excellent

The pool area was clean and tidy and getting a sunbed wasn't a problem so long as you were up in time (snooze you lose)

The lifts are not in order of merit if your on second floor you press lift to come it doesn't come to your floor even if no one used the lift there a issue with them i think your waiting ages for them

At meal times you are escorted to an available table instead of having to search for one. Free safe in each room - no deposit required. Beach towel hire - €10 each, fully refundable on return

All very good and quickly seated at the table. All the staff in this hotel are super friendly, from the waiter/waitress to the life guards and reception desk. My family are coming to stay in this hotel next month

Lots of pools, indoor pool feels a little unclean, perhaps. Buffet food was good with some interesting courses, and plenty of choice. Main entertainment area gets a bit stuffy and is loud but you'd expect that

They keep the children entertained throughout the day and evening. The children love them and they have so much patience with them. I only had the breakfast, didn’t go all inclusive but cannot fault the breakfast at all

Kids club had plenty of activities. The smaller bar had very good entertainment and was a more chilled vibe in the evening. Location is fine, 2km to walk to Portadventura, 500m to shopping road and 1

Lovely hotel though a bit dated in areas. Good animation team that worked hard. Lovely food, had to use microwave at times to heat it up though. Given free water with meals and free water fountains around the pools

Great hotel! The rooms are not so big but perfectly fine for me. The rooms have a locker for free use and you can also watch tv if you want. The staff is very kind, always in a good mood and very fast

The animation is kind of boring for adults around the autumn and the swimming pool is pretty small as well. Hotel is perfectly located, it’s near shopping street, the beach and some bus stops

Location is good if you want everything close by - in the street outside! It turned out our balcony on the street side was actually quieter than those on the poolside - even with road works going on! There was no separate adult & children's pools, so both pools were filled with an array of massive inflatables! No chance of actually being able to swim

) Nightly entertainment took place inside the bar area (although there was a stage outside in the pool area) so we went out to local bars & restaurants to escape the noise! Our room was really lovely & clean, with everything we needed

The rooms are on the small size. No tea , coffee, kettle in room. Had built-in wardrobe with a fridge in it. Not many places to put personal bits. The food was very surprising good

It's also a short walk to the beach sea front as well as a 25/30 minutes walk to the theme park. Staff were all helpful and friendly thanks very much for the stay

Kids clubs in the day, plenty of play areas (pools and playground, small indoor pool, arcade, pool tables, darts, cinema, softplay etc). All staff friendly and great at their jobs

Had a fantastic week here with the family, the hotel and pool area are lovely and clean and well maintained. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful

Stayed here for a week, and have to say the staff are amazing, especially the staff who run all the kid's activities they really go out of their way to involve all the kids and are so enthusiastic and kind, the staff which run the kiddies discos were amazing! The staff at the bar area especially the servers were so nice! Can't recommend this hotel enough! 🫶 I did find one member of staff quite rude...

Food and drinks for all inclusive was really good, we went for the Golden all inclusive upgrade which was really fantastic meaning we could order pretty much any food or drink we wanted from the restaurant/ bar as could the kids such as ordering ice creams and snacks during the day

Hotel is excellent for the family (It's a family hotel just in case that's not clear to anyone). Food was good pancakes in the morning especially. The entertainment staff give it there all to keep the kids entertained

We even had a few euros go missing, but I decided not to argue as we were on holiday and didn't want to spoil the mood. A tourist fee of 2 euro was required when we arrived, which is standard

We also rented a beach towel for 10 euro, which was returned when we handed the towel back. You can swap the towel for a clean one every day, which was convenient and without any additional cost

As for the food, it was a mixed experience. Breakfast and dinner offered the same dishes, and while the lunch food was quite delicious, some items were not fresh and tasted a bit old

On the bright side, the cleaning staff was lovely and always cleaned our room daily when we requested it. The reception staff, unfortunately, were not helpful at all

But considering the all-inclusive price was quite cheap, we weren’t expecting top-quality beverages. Overall, the stay was manageable, and you get what you pay for

The hotel itself was okay—it’s a 3-star establishment, so we weren’t expecting luxury. However, our room had some disappointing cleanliness issues upon arrival

The meat revolves around pork cooked differently instead of other meat alternatuves that would better suit most guests from all backgrounds

Overall I had a great experience and will definitely try come back! Would recommend :-)

Great hotel in my opinion, No complaints on my end

The decor was great, the rooms were clean & comfy, the WiFi worked great & overall the location was accessible to many different food places/clubs/beaches etc… Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the food options

Would have liked some light background music but appreciate that’s not for everyone. Two entertainers going around the pool who seemed very friendly and not pushy or over powering

The location is ok plenty of shops nearby and a good few bars/restaurants, however it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and the centre of salou which is very uphill, which wasn't a problem for us just something to be mindful about

As you'll read the location is on top of a long incline which is a con for some and if you pay €15 extra per night they will put you on the sea view side of the hotel (so then being on top of a hill is a good thing)

After reading all the bad reviews I was expecting the worst, the hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious only down fall is not having much room to hang coats or clothes but other then that the room was great, good size balcony also

The food was rotten, always cold so we ate out everyday. The pool was good but the music is very repetitive

The staff are friendly and helpful if you need anything nothing is a problem

The staff were friendly, approachable and professional. They made us all feel comfortable and welcome. Paula in particular was amazing! Nothing was too much for her

I guess the adults with them should of kept them under control but they didn't. I get why the hotel allow the m to stay here as it's a big booking with lots of cash at the end of season

Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, hall is a little small for the entertainment they provide at 10pm every night. Food was delicious, great bar prices. Pool is adequate with plenty sunbeds round about

A large modern hotel complex with two 7 story accomodation blocks beside the large pool with poolside bar and lounge

The only down side is this hotel is at the very top of a hill so no matter which way you go, you need to climb a hill so if you have mobility issues it's not the best location although the location is beautiful with plenty stunning sights and walk ways

We still had an amazing time, making full use of the outdoor pools, spacious sun soaked poolside lounging facilities, 3 great water slides, for anyone who meets the minimum height requirement, wonderful dining rooms with spectacular food and a not at all intrusive, yet still busy entertainment team

We don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the drinks, other than to say the bars seemed to be doing good business, both inside the building and poolside

For the strenuous visitors, there’s a full gym, with various exercise machines, which we (thankfully!) only discovered on our last night. I can’t imagine why this wonderful hotel only warrants 3 stars

It’s hard to imagine what they could possibly do better, to earn another
