Hotels on first line in La Pineda

I have absolutely loved my stay here at estival park. The pool was always lovely and in the sun. It's near the beach and shops and was very handy. The Animation team were absolutely fantastic especially Luiz

Some of my favorite things are the food, the pool on a hot day and my favorite is the games with the animation team they make the days super fun espesially Luis who i have had the pleasure with making friends with and is always very welcoming and entertaning and on the evenings the mini disco and the nighy show is the best way to emd the day

Family holiday, kids 3 & 6 had amazing fun at Kids Club with Elena & Nico, really supportive & attentive. Fun pools for the kids, not too cold in October. Fine food options and drinks for grown ups

The food is very good to expand your palette each night with differnt cuisenes, all the staff are so kind and the pool os amazing to cool off in after lying in the sun

Returned yesterday from a short break at Estival Park Silmar, La Pineda. Professional, caring staff, very helpful. Beautiful room i stayed at room 2127, pristine, room easy to locate

He made every game a joy and I will definitely be back. I'd like to mention Uri in reception as he was extremely helpful on a number of occasions

Right on the beach and La Pineda is a lovely town with very nice restaurants

I have been to this hotel few times the entertainment is amazing and food choice very good. As the doors to pool dont open till 9 am the queue got bigger and bigger and if u dont queue u dont get a sunbed

Had a fantastic holiday at golden donaire beach hotel. This year with family and met friends. Fantastic weather new restaurant (took a few days to get used to it) staff from reception

Went with family with the all inclusive package Rooms were clean and serviced every day Food was average but better when found the microwave Bar service by the pool was excellent Staff were efficient and and polite Entertainment in the bar every night and always something different Would recommend for families

But if your around the pool and u want to go for lunch your not going to want to put loads of clothes on to go dining as your going back to the pool

Excellent time spent there. Staff very friendly special mention to Brox Jo and Pablo from the entertainment team. Great choice of food to choose from and good quality. Rooms changed daily.

There is a children’s club which is open twice a day for a couple hours, consists of drawing, face painting, puzzles, games, films etc! The staff are good English speakers, and those who aren’t know the basics, but were in their country we should make an effort with their language! The pool area opens at 1000, due to me having a broken ankle they allowed us in 10 mins early to find a bed to beat...

There is one large heated pool, and a children’s play area with 2 waterslides and lots of fountain type things for them to play with

The outdoor bar area also serves amazing burgers, hotdogs, pizzas, chips, crisps, and other snacks all part of the all inclusive! The drinks are all named too, proper Smirnoff vodka, JD, etc! Rooms: 2 x double beds per room, air con as standard, we paid for the safe, and the balcony is a good side

The staff in general are all amazing, one even offered to go home and get me a set of her crutches for me to use for the week! Entertainment: Children’s entertainment starts at 2100hrs, typically consists of balloon making, magicians, discos etc

Plenty of wardrobe space too. Negative… I broke my ankle on my first day. That’s it, not the hotels fault. However, the staff arranged a wheelchair hire with crutches, they assisted with booking taxis to hospitals etc

Fresh towels each day, and cleaned each day. I read a review which mentioned about only having one pillow per bed…ask for more? We did and they happily gave us 3 more. Bathroom has fresh towels, a bath, and a shower

Great beach, many pools, big and free spa, nice and clean area, modern hotel, good parking also for big cars, friendly staff, good breakfast, good room and comfy bed, nice bathroom

Details: The TV was a bit small and some foreign channels did not work, it would have been great if there had been also soft matrasses around the outdoor pools

Beautiful hotel with modern rooms, fresh breakfast, friendly staff and great facilities and very close to the beach - can't fault it from this perspective! However they allowed a company event party to go way past midnight, in the middle of the week, without at least warning any of the other residents (a written warning at the entrance would have been enough)

Perfect location. 1 minute from the beach. Internet/wifi is horrendous. We got a tiny room. No one in the buffet speaks English a bit. Food is alright.

What is this???? I asked for a lemonade, not for a 7up lemon! Also a lot of staff don't speak english. Still the food is amazing and the experiences were fantastic!

What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, they have been incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure my stay is perfect

We arrived and were greeted with a glass of champagne, and were also upgraded to a bigger room. Our room was spacious and quiet, it had great amenities, and was very clean

First mention to young Marco at reception, very polite & attentive, Mika & Albert both ran the restaurant very efficiently, especially when busy with large tables on week 2, Jose the bartender was always smiling and good at his job, the table service was also good especially during the evening entertainment, which changed each week, the daily activities ran by Christian & Andrea were such great fun...

Here for 21 nights half board with Tui, from the moment we checked-in until we checked out we have loved everything, reception, dining, daily activities and the evening entertainment, our room was cleaned daily and the linen & towels were also changed daily, the hotel is spotless everywhere

We didn't want to leave our gorgeous room but we were upgraded to the top floor with an even bigger room and free passes to the spa. Food was diverse and very tasty, especially for a small hotel

The chef's work so hard, we really appreciated them. Overall a great stay, thank you to all the wonderful staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Golden Costa

Just a few minute walk to the beach and 10min to main beach strip with all the shops. Bus stop right in front of the hotel to go to Tarragona or Salou. Hotel amenities are great, big pool with slides

You can pour your own beer, soft drinks and sangria. The pools are well kept and very clean. The staff as a whole are amazing and do there bit to ensure your needs are met. The rooms are very clean, well kept and great

From the moment we arrived we had such an amazing holiday. The beach is really close with plenty of shops and supermarkets near by too. We will 100% be coming back in 2026

We had a balcony overlooking the pool which was nice. The night time entertainment was brief but great, starting most nights around 9:15pm and finishing at 11/11:30pm

Entertainment every night for the children and the adults. The food is amazing, one of the best buffets I've been to! Late checkout until 6pm was for additional 40€ ( have to request in advance )

The hotel is close to the beach and shops. If you arrive at night, don't count on parking at the hotel. They have maybe 6 spaces, and they charge €10 per day

The only positive point is the quick access to the beach

Clean apartments, private kitchen, nice restaurant, great and friendly staff always ready to help. Loved our stay in 2019 and wish the pandemic be over asap and we will definitely come back to this fabulous place

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The breakfast wasn’t too brilliant but the friendly atmosphere and lovely ambiance made up for it

We have stayed in La Pineda location, this hotel was clean, had nice rooms and plenty facilities for family

Wanted to say thank you to the staff and the owners of the hotel for making our stay as comfy as possible

After complaining to reception (where no one speaks French, thank you Google translation), the hotel put us in another apartment where not everything was great (burned out wall light bulb, broken TV)

Very close to the hotel was a supermarket, a lovely small beach accessible by steps and a travel agent place where you could book trips from. We walked to Route 66 one evening and had a lovely meal there

We booked this 3 days before our arrival. It is not our usual holiday destination/style. But we wanted some sunshine at short notice

We didn’t have to queue at all, got our room key and we were situate in a room on the first floor, ideally located at the very end of the corridor. Room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows

However, we found the dining hall complete sensory overload with unbelievable noise and rudeness of other guests barging about. Plates were knocked out of people’s hands, so I had to accompany our children up and down

The pools are all great for small children with the pirate ship in particular a huge attraction for our 7 and 10 year olds

Staying half board we availed of the breakfast and evening meal buffet most days. All food was good, great selection and constantly replenished. Our kids particularly enjoyed the ice cream/sweet station

Not many restaurants around, but the hotel had a great shop for snacks etc, the hotel food was very nice, pool area was great, the kids loved the kids pool with great water features

There are two beaches that are absolutely beautiful, they are a 5 min walk, beautiful soft sand

The hotel indicates that it has 4 stars, but they can't provide you with the most basic thing - a polite and friendly attitude. When we arrived at the hotel, the girl from the reception was not friendly

Food: The first two days the hotel did not have good options for vegetarian food. At first the worker said that you can have salad. I said that I want hot food, I can not eat only salad

We were lucky that there were not many people during our vacation and it was noisy only occasionally. There is a beach, a market and a bus stop nearby. The center can be reached in 15 minutes by bus (2

When there was an incident with the flood of rooms, many residents were lucky that they were inside the room at that moment and were able to take out their things on their own because the hotel employees did not worry about the safety of visitors' documents, phones and laptops and you would not even be told that there was a flood in your room and that your things were flooding at the moment

As a result, we were given another room that had only two sockets at floor level, which were difficult to find, we had to move the table with a mini refrigerator at 1 a

We pay the same money as everyone else and deserve polite treatment and attention. When we checked out of the hotel, the staff also did not apologize for the situation at night and did not compensate for anything

The restaurant area is large and beautiful, there is an outdoor terrace with sea view where we loved having dinner and lunch. The food is always varied, quality and in abundance

The corridors are covered with old, worn-out carpet. It's good that there is a swimming pool with slides for different ages on the territory

From the swimming pools with slides and games for both adults and children, to the open pool and the indoor thermal pool that we really appreciated in the "cooler" hours, to the immediate access to the small and private beach below where we spent magnificent moments, from the beach the view is truly unique and the sunset wonderful! There is a bar/bathroom in both pool areas and it was very convenient...

A holiday above expectations! It was the first time in Salou and the first time at the Best Cap Salou hotel, we had seen from the photos how beautiful the structure was, but in person it is even more so

What we received was incredible, the reserved table in the center of the room with balloons and decorations, taken care of down to the smallest detail, even the number 2 candle for our son

We spent 8 nights in this magnificent place together with our child, we can say that the structure has everything, nothing is missing

We chose the half board option, the food options let the hotel down, very repetitive, not much choice and guests were rude, you would be queuing to use the coffee machine and people would walk right infront of you to use it next, one of the worst hotels I’ve been to for food choices, meal times were very stressful

It is surrounded by a pine park. ), 10 -15 minutes walk, near supermarkets, a park for children, bus stops in all directions. In the evening, interesting show programs. Nice hotel for a relaxing stay

Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom was lovely, very big shower, no bath which wasn’t an issue for us and the room was slightly small

All the staff were friendly, the pool areas were nice with a nice place area for kids. Only issue is that people were reserving sunbeds from before 8am and weren’t appearing to use them until atleast 1pm

It would have been OK with plastic cups if they had only done it around the pool, but it is very unpleasant to drink all the time at any of the indoor bars, except the restaurant, any drink, beer, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks from plastic cups

The maids do an excellent job and leave everything clean and tidy, I caught them one day when we returned from the beach cleaning the glass wall of the shower with active foam

The rooms were tidied daily and an excellent size for the price. I highly recommend opting for a sea-view room for the sunset alone. They were clean, modern and contained a good range of amenities

The local area is quiet and the new promenade makes beach walks a must. The sea is clear, clean and a good temperature (we went in September) with respectful beachgoers

An absolute delight - this hotel exceeded our expectations by miles. Despite visiting towards the end of what we assume was a busy summer season, the staff made us feel so welcomed

The drinks are also varied and a good strength - I recommend the sangria with every meal! As a gay couple it can be difficult to travel to other countries as you are unsure of how other guests will treat you, however the staff made sure we were always welcome and we felt very safe in their hands

Our sincere thanks go out to everyone, from the friendly and hardworking cleaning staff to the incredible chefs behind the grill, and of course, the receptionists and hosts who continuously made us feel at home

We had a lovely stay at Best Negresco. The sea view was stunning from our room even though we didn’t book it! The beach was a 2 minute walk, perfect location. Plenty of varieties of food to choose from

Right next to the sea for lovely views (the sun set is unreal) beach’s minutes walk away. Thank you for a lovely and deserved week away with you!

Reception staff seem to go above & beyond, super friendly and approachable. After researching the area and other hotels prior to booking this, I'm super glad that we made the choice and went with Best Negresco

Absolutely lovely place to stay! We got a sea view room and the views were stunning. After reading reviews I was unsure I would enjoy the food but every meal every night was fantastic, big variety

Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The inside pool was so relaxing and well worth the 7€

The hotel is located right on the coast. It is far away from anything urban and is very peaceful. Seaview rooms offer very beautiful views and sounds of the sea

I am staying in the hotel right now as I write this there only a couple of issues the Lifts there two in main reception and one around the side used by cleaners or service

The hotel is not so far from main town if your looking for a great meal in town you must Visit Tim and Jane at the Old Brown Cow near the Dolphin Hotel the Pub Resturant caters for every possible needs the beers and cocktails are excellent and refreshing the locals visit there as well Sunday Dinners are really tasty and yummy so if your look for a Sunday Roast Visit Old Brown cow closed Tuesdays

The food is really good one such guy at breakfast who cooks the eggs will cook my eggs as I want them the guy who cooks the omelets is helpful as well he will make them as you like them plus he makes the pancakes as well over excellent

The pool area was clean and tidy and getting a sunbed wasn't a problem so long as you were up in time (snooze you lose)

The lifts are not in order of merit if your on second floor you press lift to come it doesn't come to your floor even if no one used the lift there a issue with them i think your waiting ages for them

Fresh salad and fruit on a daily basis, fresh omelettes cooked on the regular with meat/ fish cooked as and when needed. Local beer/ wine reasonably priced. Free water fountains poolside to refill your bottles

As other guests mentioned, bring bug repellent - you can’t see the bugs when you’re poolside but if you’re prone to being bitten they will feast on you

The only issues we had were that with how nice inside there’s hotel is the pool areas let it down abit, imo they just need freshening up

Outside there’s 6 pools all of different size and depths, with plenty of room for sunbathing

We went half board, not sure what to expect regarding food (as I’ve found in other places the food was cold, or not properly cooked!) I was very impressed with the food quality for both breakfast and dinner, plenty of choice, and when the fresh trays were brought out it was piping hot, so it stayed warm for quite some time

I cannot complain about the food at all ever sitting the food was fresh and warm with plenty of variety and the restaurant staff were excellent, especially the manager! The staff over the whole hotel were excellent, always happy to help and very hard working

There is a luggage room downstairs if your checking out before your transfer. The rest of the hotel is very modern and the pools are very well maintained, clean and checked very regularly

If you want a sunbed, you best be at the pool 8am SHARP to reserve yours. We paid 10e tourist tax for 3 people for 4 nights which was reasonable

There is always a good selection of food, from themed foods (we had seafood, Mexican and Spanish). They did Tuna fillets on some nights, which was very well enjoyed

But when at the pool the simple things like ham toasties or burger/hotdogs and chips , along with drinks. They kind of made up for it during the day at the pool or in the evening before going out

Starting with the room - the beds were very firm but are generously sized, bigger than a single but not as big as double. The room was clean and serviceable, but there were some age-related marks on the walls and ceiling

There is also a TV in the room with British, French, Spanish and German channels. You have to pair the remote yourself, but the instructions are only in Spanish

We even had a few euros go missing, but I decided not to argue as we were on holiday and didn't want to spoil the mood. A tourist fee of 2 euro was required when we arrived, which is standard

We also rented a beach towel for 10 euro, which was returned when we handed the towel back. You can swap the towel for a clean one every day, which was convenient and without any additional cost

As for the food, it was a mixed experience. Breakfast and dinner offered the same dishes, and while the lunch food was quite delicious, some items were not fresh and tasted a bit old

On the bright side, the cleaning staff was lovely and always cleaned our room daily when we requested it. The reception staff, unfortunately, were not helpful at all

But considering the all-inclusive price was quite cheap, we weren’t expecting top-quality beverages. Overall, the stay was manageable, and you get what you pay for

The hotel itself was okay—it’s a 3-star establishment, so we weren’t expecting luxury. However, our room had some disappointing cleanliness issues upon arrival

The meat revolves around pork cooked differently instead of other meat alternatuves that would better suit most guests from all backgrounds

Overall I had a great experience and will definitely try come back! Would recommend :-)

Great hotel in my opinion, No complaints on my end

The decor was great, the rooms were clean & comfy, the WiFi worked great & overall the location was accessible to many different food places/clubs/beaches etc… Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the food options

Would have liked some light background music but appreciate that’s not for everyone. Two entertainers going around the pool who seemed very friendly and not pushy or over powering

The location is ok plenty of shops nearby and a good few bars/restaurants, however it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and the centre of salou which is very uphill, which wasn't a problem for us just something to be mindful about

As you'll read the location is on top of a long incline which is a con for some and if you pay €15 extra per night they will put you on the sea view side of the hotel (so then being on top of a hill is a good thing)

After reading all the bad reviews I was expecting the worst, the hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious only down fall is not having much room to hang coats or clothes but other then that the room was great, good size balcony also

The food was rotten, always cold so we ate out everyday. The pool was good but the music is very repetitive

The staff are friendly and helpful if you need anything nothing is a problem

The staff were friendly, approachable and professional. They made us all feel comfortable and welcome. Paula in particular was amazing! Nothing was too much for her

Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, hall is a little small for the entertainment they provide at 10pm every night. Food was delicious, great bar prices. Pool is adequate with plenty sunbeds round about

A large modern hotel complex with two 7 story accomodation blocks beside the large pool with poolside bar and lounge

A 15/20 minute walk to the main large and sandy beach behind which a pleasant park and the busy town can be found

The only down side is this hotel is at the very top of a hill so no matter which way you go, you need to climb a hill so if you have mobility issues it's not the best location although the location is beautiful with plenty stunning sights and walk ways

Hotel was great with kids also. Plenty off food option for breakfast and dinner

We still had an amazing time, making full use of the outdoor pools, spacious sun soaked poolside lounging facilities, 3 great water slides, for anyone who meets the minimum height requirement, wonderful dining rooms with spectacular food and a not at all intrusive, yet still busy entertainment team

We don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the drinks, other than to say the bars seemed to be doing good business, both inside the building and poolside

For the strenuous visitors, there’s a full gym, with various exercise machines, which we (thankfully!) only discovered on our last night. I can’t imagine why this wonderful hotel only warrants 3 stars

Again can't blame the hotel just something to be aware of. Pool, my opinion is , it is small for the size of the hotel

Signage for food borders ridiculous sometimes, again not particularly bothersome to me as if it looked like something id like i tried, that said tho i could appreciate how others would struggle, allergies etc

The other problem with the lifts which obv hotel cannot control were some people in them refused to actually step aside to allow others to enter, yes not particularly comfortable to share them sometimes but when there was clearly room for another couple of people some would just glare at u when the doors opened n then press the close button

My biggest struggle here was definitely the lift situation, 2 small hot lifts which also on 3 occasions were down to 1 ( just not responding ) very inadequate at some times of the day

Food, always good variety can t see how anyone could mostly not find something suitable, not always hottest but the microwave solved any issue I had with that

We were on the 8th floor which no way could I walk up to, down yes I did a few times, husband did walk up a couple of times but no way was I doing it in heat
