Myself and partner are due to arrive 19th July as an overdue anniversary. We would normally have come every year but due to partner battling cancer we missed last year. We are hoping to get the same room as it had the double balcony which is perfect for my sun worshipping partner lol. Excelllent clean hotel that offers great value for money for families. Second visit and will certainly return. Excellent facilities with lovely staff. Food is very nice and varied. Right on the beach and La Pineda is a lovely town with very nice restaurants.

As the doors to pool dont open till 9 am the queue got bigger and bigger and if u dont queue u dont get a sunbed. So u do have to start queing about 8.15 . A bit annoying . I've been here three times now over the years. It's a lovely hotel and the staff especially Fredrico. He went above and beyond to help. Not all bad, generous sized rooms, buffet type food was reasonable. Given the price can't really complain. Area where it is is a bit quiet though but it's only a short bus ride to into the main party of Salou. It is a family hotel so lots of children on the pool e.t.c.

Everything was perfect. My only complaint is that I booked half-board and they wouldn't let me change dinner for lunch. While my stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, I was surprised to find that certain amenities I consider standard for a 4- or 5-star hotel were missing. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea, a bath towel, and a chair in the room are basic expectations at this level of service. This little hotel is a real gem. It’s away from the bustle of Salou, but near to little beaches and coves where you can swim in the Mediterranean. Rooms are clean. Food is good. Pool is quiet. We had a fabulous 4night break at this hotel we love salou and have been serval times but we wanted better accommodation than previous times and we definitely feel that was accommodated. Easily the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms are nice and the beds are big. Everything is also cleaned every single day and the smell on the corridors is just fantastic. Also, I advise the all inclusive package, it helps so much if you just want to enjoy some proper vacations, and the staff will always help you out. Especially Juanito on the grill, what a lovely guy! Overall great, food was amazing, everything in the hotel worked. But one bad thing, the hotel room that I was staying in had a really bad smell of sewage from it, even after showering, flushing the toilet and using the sink.

Very pleasant hotel, very clean with friendly, respectful staff. Rooms are very basic with extremely hard mattresses. There are no extras in the room, such as coffee/tea making facilities, and no iron or ironing board in any of the rooms. Air conditioning worked, but certainly wasn't cold or powerful enough.

Very nice family hotel for the visit of PortAventura. Park admission is included from the day of arrival till the day of departure, access to the park is from the hotel. If you need to get back to the hotel from Ferrari Land, then there is pathway accross the parking lot because the PortAventura is closed in the evening. Just enjoyed another family holiday at Hotel Gold River, we love everything about this hotel and how handy it is for the Park. The things that let the hotel down where my daughters got given a double bed to share and we couldn't swap their room for 2 days and the adults roof area was really amazing but the bar wasn't covered by the all inclusive wristband. Great hotel, catered well for my gluten free diet. The Maitre is as fantastic and each meal time showed me the food that was available for my needs. Each evening I could choose from a list of foods although a lot of the buffet food was also gluten free. He had a great understanding of allergies and what was in the food.
