Stayed for 1 week through Jet2 Holidays as a family of four. We had a one bed apartment which was clean, with a large balcony and small kitchenette. Happy that the pull out beds were already made up for our kids on arrival. Can’t fault the room or service at all. When we needed extra sheets/ towels it wasn’t a problem. Staying half board we availed of the breakfast and evening meal buffet most days. All food was good, great selection and constantly replenished. Our kids particularly enjoyed the ice cream/sweet station. However, we found the dining hall complete sensory overload with unbelievable noise and rudeness of other guests barging about. Plates were knocked out of people’s hands, so I had to accompany our children up and down. They found it a bit overwhelming to be honest, but other children might be fine with this. Not a relaxing eating experience, but you can fill your plate and manage your expectations. It is a bit disappointing they close the tea/coffee machines in the evening so we paid extra for drinks. The pools are all great for small children with the pirate ship in particular a huge attraction for our 7 and 10 year olds. Lifeguards are on duty and do a great job watching kids all day long- even standing at the top of the slide and encouraging younger ones down. Do be prepared to queue for a lounger in the morning. I just wish other people weren’t so rude/ loud as that’s what annoyed us most about this hotel. The staff and amenities were all great. Evening entertainment had someone for everyone. Our kids didn’t use the kids club but it seemed fantastic. Staff in blue T-shirts were really friendly. Tip- bring your own reusable insulated water bottles as there is a water tap at the bar and saves you buying the hotel bottles. Very close to the hotel was a supermarket, a lovely small beach accessible by steps and a travel agent place where you could book trips from. We walked to Route 66 one evening and had a lovely meal there. Buses are regular and pick up just outside the hotel to take you into Salou.

Last minute getaway. We booked this 3 days before our arrival. It is not our usual holiday destination/style. But we wanted some sunshine at short notice. The hotel – We arrived at 1045am and was a pleasant check in experience, we couldn’t get the room until 3pm, which was not a problem. There is a luggage room with large lockers, where you can leave all your belonging for 2 euros. We got changed and went and explored. Word of advice, do not go back at 3pm to check in, leave it an hour like we did. We didn’t have to queue at all, got our room key and we were situate in a room on the first floor, ideally located at the very end of the corridor. Room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was clean, big, and a nice touch with shampoo, shower gel and conditioner supplied in large bottles. As well as handwash and hand cream by the sink, also in large bottles. There is a small beer fridge in the room, which is ample for cold drinks, not much room for anything else. The balcony was pleasant and had patio furniture a long with a clothes dryer. We liked that hotel was not all inclusive, so the usual holiday makers that drink too much, were non-existent. The hotel operate a pay as you go for drinks, and is 100% cashless throughout the hotel, including the on site supermarket. You can load money on to your room, which we did then just use your wristband to pay for drinks, snacks and supermarket when needed. This was also for drinks purchased at dinner. Thought this was a great idea. The drinks are reasonable price for a hotel, and the beer is estrella on draught, which I liked. Check out is 12.00pm, you can still use all facilities. The restaurant – The food was fresh at breakfast and dinner, plenty of options, even for the fussy eaters. We liked the single ingredient and fresh food options they had. Only negative is the walkway between the food counters. We noticed a lot of people bumping in to each other, and barging around instead of being polite and waiting their turns. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and patient with guests. Not sure I could have been, with the guests that clearly have eyes bigger than their bellies and then leave the mess for the staff to sort. The staff dealt with this brilliantly when we witnessed down right arrogance from guests. The drinks are served quickly. There is plenty of space, but it gets busy around 7.30pm so avoid this time. The hotel staff – 100% FIVE STARS from me – they were brilliant. Even the grumpy looking older barman was a teddy bear really. Entertainment – It is definitely geared up for the younger children, although the entertainment includes acts for the older generation also. I can not comment during the day, because we were off walking and sightseeing every day. Location – Cap Del Salou is ideally situated away from any busy areas. Hotel next door is the Sun club, which has a decent supermarket and bar also. It is only a 30 to 35 minute walk in to Salou if that’s what you’re afte

We stayed here for ten days lovely holiday friendly staff night time entertainment. We were on half bord package breakfast ( if you came in late hings would be gone)and evening meal( made pay for drinks during it was ABIT too much, couldn't get a cup of tea or coffee after it) . The pool was opened at 10am then you get people covering the sun loungers and walking away, we couldn't use any balls in the pool, pools were closed every evening at 6. The in house shop was hadn't but closed early most of the time we used the shop near the entrance. One day it rained so had to watch TV in the room no English speaking channels they were on the menu but not tunned

Food good. Staff good. Pools open at 10 indoor 11! Closes at 6. So when u r out all day u cannot get back and have a swim which is what we like to do. I also swim a lot so booked this for the indoor pool to go for an early swim. Not possible here. I feels a little like a prison camp with all the rules. No balls, no floats, no swimming etc. This should be in the brochure or clear when booking. Would not come back.

I stayed here with my 10 year old child. Arrived around 7.30pm - bus dropped us off at the bottom of the drive. Security friendly man outside pointed us in the right direction however it was very easy. Walked into the hotel and was like wow, amazing big sparkly foyer. Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Room - The room was lovely and clean, spacious enough for two of us, had a fridge to keep our drinks cool, spacious balcony, comfy beds. Two big wardrobes. Beds were made and room cleaned daily. (Big help when you come in covered in sand and it’s all over the floor!) Food - we went half board. The breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choice from cooked breakfast, cheeses, fruit, pasties and cereal. Juices and hot drinks. It was the same every day hut that’s to be expected with breakfast. Evening buffet - loads of choice. Extensive range of salads and dishes like rice, pasta, fish and meat. Different theme every night eg one night burgers, pizzas, Mexican. We ate out twice for a change but did enjoy the buffet. Drinks were €1 for water but we took our own in reusable bottles from the water fountain. Water fountain near the outside bar to refill water bottles. Pool - two pool areas. We stayed at the top pool with the pirate ship and slide, plenty of sunbeds. I did find in September that the sun wasn’t on the pool until quite late so it wasn’t very warm until late afternoon. May be different other times of year but we tended to go to the pool towards the end of the afternoon after being out. Splash pad looked great too but my daughter was too old for it. We didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked great. Entertainment - we only went to a couple of nights. It seemed to be mainly karaoke, I did see some sort of acrobatic act too. Location - great location. Bus stop located outside to go towards Salou or Tarragona. Also bus to Portaventura. Go to Bus Plana across the road to get a bus card €10 for 10 rides and then you can top it up as and when. 5 minute walk away from restaurants and bars. Beaches - there are a few little coves nearby, also bigger beaches at La Pineda or Salou itself. Friendly staff and great hotel all round. If I come back to Salou, I will come here.

Incredible hotel Loved the people here the most out of all things super friendly and talkative. Major shoutout goes to Alex nico and Lucia from the blue team for being funny and engaging had lots of fun activities with them. We will definitely miss them! Alex and nico had me and my dad down for everything once we got comfortable. We shook their hands on many occasions out of friendliness and sportsman ship after water games. These two were funny and made the experience 10x better. Lucia was so sweet and completed my shoes! And hugged me on my last day. Lazara aswell was so sweet and served me my lunch almost every day. The food was great as-well with the menu slightly changing each night with plenty of tasty warm and cold food along with an ice cream bar and sections of pastries for desert. Reception incredibly swift and made our arrival so much smoother. Rooms cleaned regularly with great AC. Great guests aswell made a lot of friends on this holiday with English and Spanish speakers.

Unreal holiday with the friendliest people ever. Three people me my mummy and daddy, I am a teenager. Breaking this up into little sections Staff- the entertainment team: incredibly friendly and perfect at making everyone feel included they made this holiday 100x better. Even on thunderstorm days they showed up and smiled. MAJOR shoutout goes to Alex, nico and Lucia these three were amazing and always joyful. (Give them a raise!) I hope I can see them again sometime! Definitely will miss them. Alex and Nico were hilarious, friendly and just the best. I shook their hands on multiple occasions by the pool and after intense games of water sports. I was able to share a lot about my life at home as they told me somethings about their home. Every encounter was engaging with Alex and Nico especially after they learned our names Sean and con, they had us down for everything. They were both so friendly to the point I had to get a photo with them with my diplomas 😂 they made us comfortable super quickly and had good laughs. Lucia was amazing and made everyone smile one of my first encounters with her she complemented my shoes and my last encounter she hugged me ❤️. Staff part two- waiters/bar staff: Very fast can change depending on how busy it is but still super quick. Also super friendly and had conversations with them. Shoutout to lazara who served me lunch almost every day super friendly and kind always asking how I was. I am not the biggest breakfast eater so I was down at the lunch place everyday. Didnt expect this at all this time but the people staying guests like us were all super friendly we made lots friends and talked to them as much as we could and saw them at a lot of the hotels activities especially the water sports being the funniest and most competitive. The food- as I mentioned not the biggest breakfast eater so the lunch place was my favourite place to go to, but the breakfast for those who like breakfast looked super nice and a wide variety of cold and warm food. Dinner was fantastic as it came with desert in the ice cream bar with cakes and pastries beside it, the dinner had different things each night my favourites being the spaghetti and grilled chicken. On top of this all reception after swift travelling was super clean and quick. This is a family hotel so the entertainment at night is mostly directed towards younger kids but some shows were still fun like musical bingo and Bruno mars. When we didn’t fancy the entertainment we just sat in the bar or went to the chilled out AC blasting rooms that were always clean by the help of the cleaners.

This H10 hotel (a name which is supposed to ooze class) has potential to be a great location for families but has some major flaws in it. We are a family with one young (2y.o) child, and stayed in a standard apartment for 8 nights. The apartment: the apartment itself was small and boxy but had a big balcony - this should be the other way around really. The rooms listed on the website are 34m2 and all the same however if you are located beside a lift then the shape of your room significantly changes and reduces in size. We only noticed this when we were looking at the evac plans on the back of the door. There is nothing to describe this on the website and all the prices are the same. When we arrived the fridge was not cold and when we asked at reception about this they said that it can take a few days to cool down, which we then asked was it turned off before, to which the staff said no we are fully booked, so how can it take a few days to cool down if it wasn’t switched off? We were advised someone would come look at it but they never did. There is no oven or grill, just an electric hob for cooking, and no freezer section to the fridge, and considering the fridge wasn’t cold that wasn’t helpful. The glasses and cups were very small and the ‘bowls’ had less depth in it than a belly button. We rang reception and asked if there were any dish clothes for drying the dishes and were advised that a new washing set would be sent up but nothing ever arrived. Our sink also got blocked after two days and we had to get someone out to fix it. The bedroom was ok although layout doesn’t work well with the door. The beds were horrendous and very very loud every time you even moved or turned. The entertainment: There is a stage/entertainment place inside and outside in the hotel. The outside stage had people at it most of the day and offered things for kids. There was a disco every night until about 9:30 and then music for adults afterwards. If you have kids and don’t mind what time they go to sleep at then fine, however if you have young kids and want to try and get them to sleep before 11? Good luck. The hotel had the loudest music I’ve heard at a ‘family friendly’ hotel. Our room was possibly one of the furthest rooms away from where the music is while still facing the music but it was excessively loud. When trying to put our two year old to sleep even she would say it’s too loud. I have no problems with kids staying up late and running around- that’s holidays, but for music to be that loud for that long is too much. Rang reception at 10 and they said it’d be done in 10 minutes and then at 11 it finished. If you tell them it’s too loud they’ll not do anything. We went down one of the nights and we had to scream at each other just to hear what we were saying. Would understand that in a nightclub but not a hotel. We did get told that it was coming from another hotel which was a blatant lie as we went outside reception and could see the music right

We’re family of five and stayed for a week. We are very pleased with our stay overall. We consider the hotel being very pleasant for a family vacation. Pools are great and very well guarded. Also the splash park is very nice. Buffet restaurant had good food for our taste. Kids were very fond of minidisco. The bus to Salou and PortAventura goes right from next to the hotel. Very nice staff and service. Our room was perhaps slightly outdated but AC worked very well and was quiet. We usually have high standards when traveling and we think this hotel is better for families than many other even 5-star hotels we’ve been to before. Thanks a lot!
