It is more like local residential and we love their building wood front door and staircase. They even free provide coffee and biscuit. The budget hostal is closed to Grad Via and metro. It is good for young people who like night life. Elder people who needs to sleep early skip Friday and Saturday because there is a disco club across from the street or avoid the room faces C. de Valverde street.

Great location, wonderful reception services and check in experience. The rooms and shower are tiny bit this is the only disadvantage of this place. Would choose it again without thinking twice, a super pleasent place to stay just at the heart of Madrid.

You feel like you’re living like a local in a residential building.
Rooms are basic, but clean. Sound-proofing is poor, so bring ear plugs!
The en-suite is basic and the shower’s water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold.
The small kitchen has a fridge where you can store food and there’s a free coffee machine 24/7 which is superb to have.
If you’re after a budget stay in central Madrid without any frills, this ticks many boxes.

I stayed here during the summer with my girlfriend. It is a really nice place to stay, just off the Main shopping area, very safe and secure. The room was big, had air conditioning, shower and TV. The bed was really comfortable. A special mention to Natalia who was so kind and helpful during our stay. I accidentally got locked out late at night and Natalia offered to travel get a taxi from her home 20 mins away to open the door for me. I never expected such service before. It was the perfect place to stay. The owner was also very kind to us too, I think his name was Esteban, he offered us a reduction on our room stay which was very generous. They treat you like you are family.

Great location, no street noise, but a lot of internal noise in the morning.
