Travelodge Malaga Airport

It's perfect if you just need a place to stop by at night. You'll have everything you need. I stayed here for 3 nights (from the 29th Jan to the 1st of Feb) and enjoyed my trip to Malaga, Spain. Although, I do feel a sense of guilt for my inability to string a sentence together in Spanish because of the fact that I'm in Spain and it's their official/local language. One of the staff members, a young guy downstairs was very helpful and accommodating.

I would definitely repeat my stay here, if I ever revisit Málaga in the future.

They also have a bar/restaurant downstairs near the entrance, which I did not realise at first. But on my last night, I decided to have a beer.

Tip: If you're coming from the airport, take the A (Aeropuerto) bus from the airport. It'll cost you 4 Euros and if you're from the UK, your bank card will work for contactless payment. Use Google Maps to plan your journey. It's incredibly helpful!

Unfortunately, once you get off the bus, you'll have to cross the motorway over the pedestrian flyover, which can be a tedious task, as you'll have to walk up two flights of ramps on both sides.

You can also get yourself a tarjeta bus pass (10 trips for 4 something euros) to get around the city. You can attain this at any Tabacos store, which can be found scattered around the city. Bear in mind that it will not work on the A (Aeropuerto) bus.

The air-conditioning could have worked better and the shower water was hit and miss throughout our showers, but apart from that an excellent stay. Comfortable bed and great service. Close to some shops and food. 5mins from the airport, gas station close by. Quiet. Parking

Very good food at a reasonable price. The waiting staff are helpful and friendly. There were good vegetarian options.

Stayed overnight as we had a early flight,everywhere was spotless ,staff brilliant and the deputy manager was excellent very helpful.
