Stayed 10–13 October 2025. Booked as an all-inclusive 4-star stay through Booking.com but it didn’t meet expectations.

Drink service was slow, with only one or two staff taking orders. The all-inclusive QR code system was confusing and led to being charged for meals and drinks that should’ve been included. Staff never checked wristbands, making the process pointless.

Check-in was vague, with no map or clear directions.

Breakfast booking slots made no difference as everyone queued together.

Wine options were poor, bottled water wasn’t included, and some basic soft drinks weren’t available.

The room was clean thanks to the housekeeping team, but the bathroom door was swollen and wouldn’t shut properly.

The biggest disappointment was that the waterpark was closed, this wasn't clearly communicated.

I raised a complaint through Booking.com, who contacted the hotel. The hotel rejected my complaint and asked for “supporting documents,” despite this clearly being about the general experience and quality of service.

Overall, the trip felt overpriced and nowhere near the standard expected from a 4-star all-inclusive resort.

Beautiful Spanish style hotel. Very pleasant rooms, which maintain a fairly high temperature for the winter period. Friendly staff. A fairly spacious buffet. You can't choose from a very large offer, but everything that is presented is of good quality.

Impossible to Get an Invoice – Avoid if on Business

I stayed here for a conference and was told the invoice would only be issued at checkout. In the morning, the queue was too long, and I had a bus to catch, so I had to leave without it.

Three weeks later, I still have no invoice. I have contacted the hotel three times by phone, written via Booking, and sent multiple emails, only to be told it's "being handled by another department." The delay is completely unacceptable.

This hotel is not recommended for business travellers. Their complete inability to provide basic financial documentation leads me to suspect they are either unprofessional or deliberately not reporting income. If you need a verifiable invoice for your expenses, look elsewhere.

Just back from a week at the hotel, Dont trust all the 1 star reviews, the rooms can do with some modernisation however all was clean and cleaned daily, The bathroom restocked daily, The staff we're all great and nearly everyone speaks english. The buffet was really samey and quite bland but its too be expected with large scale catering, we visted the park 3 days and only found out on the 2nd day that the all inclusive has QR codes for the park to claim free meals while you are in portaventure. We lost €75 euros on 3 meals the first day in the park, The pool facilities we're great however there a few wasps around(not overly aggressive and cant be helped). As a family we would 100% stay here again the location to the park is 5 mins away. Definitley recommend!

The hotel and facilities were very nice including the big pool with kids area , sand volleyball court, billiards tables, and the bars/ restaurants on property. Beds were very comfortable as well! One problem we encountered was in the showers of our room it looked like mold was growing on the wall. The other issue was with the AC not really working at the temp we set it, so it was a bit hot at night which with kids in your bed is not the best. The breakfast was well managed and the food was pretty good considering it was a buffet. Parking was very accessible. Room service did a great job resetting rooms and were very friendly.

Hotel El Paso is close to the park. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant selection is quite extensive, but having only 1 hour for dinner or 40 minutes for breakfast is not enough, especially if you are going with children. There are also long queues to get hot food, so I didn't like that at all. However, it is worth it if you spend two days in the park.

Hotel with good structure, comfortable rooms and good swimming pool. The meal system has a very wide variety, but you have to be well organized to meet the reserved times. Very close to PortAventura park.
