The hotel is decorated in an old-fashioned style, as if going back to the era of the two Spanish kings. The hotel is full of classical style and unique charm. Excellent location. Right next to the cathedral. You can see the cathedral from the room window. There are lively places all around. Most attractions are within walking distance. The room was nice. Big enough. Breakfast was good too.

The hotel is in a great location, just opposite the Seville Cathedral and very close to the Royal Palace of Seville, which is about a five-minute walk away. It is also very close to the Spanish Square, which you can walk to directly. There are also many restaurants nearby, as well as many craft shops. If you want to buy souvenirs in Sevilla, I strongly recommend going to a souvenir shop opened by a Chinese opposite the ticket office for the city parasols. Many Spanish handicrafts are exported from China, so the things bought in this souvenir shop opened by a Chinese are definitely the cheapest after I compared various souvenir shops. Highly recommended. I have been to Seville for the fourth time. Since I discovered that souvenir shop the second time I came, I will only buy from them.

Extremely narrow access, no parking without direct booking. Unfriendly staff, cheap room furnishings, a strong sewage smell, and poor soundproofing. The value for money isn't right.

I stayed at the Hotel Doña Maria in Seville and unfortunately can't recommend it, especially for guests arriving by car.
Even getting there was a huge challenge: The hotel is located in the heart of the historic center, where the streets are extremely narrow and barely passable for modern vehicles. The hotel doesn't offer its own parking unless you book directly through its website. Otherwise, you have to find a parking space on your own, which is about a 10-15 minute walk away – a very arduous start, especially with luggage. The hotel doesn't offer any help or advance information.
In addition, when asked about access through the monitored areas of the historic center, contradictory information was given: According to the reception, "the cameras aren't working." Whether this is true or whether a fine will follow later remains to be seen – it's an unacceptable risk.
The reception at the reception was unfriendly and unhelpful. The room in no way met the standards of a 4-star hotel:
No kettle, only an outdated espresso machine with small cups.
Bathroom amenities of a low standard (cheap shampoo, small soap, plastic cups).
Constant sewage smell in the bathroom.
Extremely noisy – all noises from the neighboring bathroom were clearly audible.
A simple mirror on a dresser, not fully equipped.
Overall, more like the standard of a simple 3-star hotel.
A true 4-star hotel should offer high-quality bathroom amenities, modern and well-maintained room amenities, a soundproof environment, and smooth service (including parking solutions and clear communication). All of this is lacking at the Hotel Doña Maria.
Positive:
The beds were OK and allowed for a good night's sleep.
Conclusion:
The Hotel Doña Maria falls far short of the standards of a true 4-star hotel. Those who value service, comfort, and transparent communication should choose other hotels in Seville – especially if arriving by car.

A really nice hotel with a great location next to the cathedral. The roof top bar and pool are brilliant. The rooms were good, we paid about £340 for three per night. The staff were helpful but good. They did lose my roof top bar tab so I could not pay when I left but they charged me later. Would return 100%. They also gave us access to the pool etc after we checked out here we departed.

We didnt stay here but went to the rooftop terrace. It was brilliant( great music, great drinks and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Hotel Doña Maria is an absolute marvel! A jewel in the heart of Sevilla perfect for our family getaway. Every part of the hotel is adorned with gorgeous historical artifacts and artwork, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff is absolutely exceptional in providing superior service.
The location cannot be beat as it is directly across from the Giralda!
We traveled with my Mother (Senior Citizen) and our 3 month old son and the staff was incredibly accommodating.
I recommend getting there via taxi or transit as driving is very challenging down narrow ancient streets.
Parking is very limited but reasonably priced. Call ahead to inquire if they have space for your car. There are many public garages a short walk away if there is no space at the hotel.
We loved it! I would give 10 stars if it were possible.

Stayed over night in Seville. Excellent location. Be prepared for the bells early in the morning as you are danger close to The Cathedral. The staff were proactive with communication before our arrival. They wete also very accommodating and checked us in when we arrived a little earlier than normal check it. Rooms were clean, and the rooftop bar has a nice pool and view. Would recommend again.
