We booked this just as a base for a 4 day visit and just wanted something cheap and cheerful, we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel reception, lobby and bar area really nice and the pool and surrounding area is also lovely. The rooms are maybe a little dated although nothing worth complaining about, they are very clean and as we had a corner room the balcony was huge. We would definitely return

We recently stayed here for 7 nights. We found all the staff to be so nice and made us feel very welcome. We booked 4 standard rooms, all the rooms where clean, however a little dated. I asked if there were any superior rooms I could upgrade to (note we arrived at around 11pm at night). The receptionist was so helpful and said yes there was availability. Staff at reception and cleaning staff were very polite and not aggressive so that's 5 stars for service. Our shower drain wasn't working properly, the water was flooding, so we left a note while we were away and they fixed it. Rooms were difficult to find at first. I stayed at this hotel with our dogs and had a pleasant experience. The best part was that they warmly welcome pets, which made traveling with my dog so much easier. We went as a group of friends. You get what you pay for. Yes the hotel is dated, but it isn't a 5*. The location was brilliant, the food was OK- like you would expect. I wouldn't leave a review for a petrol station, unless it was exceptional. They're fuel is cheap, staff are helpful and friendly, carwash is new and very well priced, and they have a shop, laundry, jet wash, they deliver my heating oil too. Brilliantly run place.
