Reviews
Great Prices, Rooms, Breakfast & Service. Very friendly and helpful staffs.
Everyday was so nice. Clean Rooms, nice Pool and Relax areas, Ironing service was also very good for a good price!
The Buffet every morning was great, fresh and varied.
Thanks alot!
We’ll come back again! ☀️
The staff are all very lovely, the building is just old and they try their best.
Slept one night waking up to a piss smell in the room that only got worse and worse. Packed our things as fast as we could to ask reception to change our room. They did. It smelt again. They changed it again. That room didn’t. Thank goodness.
initially our check in wasn’t until 6pm for our room even though being told it would be ready by 3pm.
The pool area is small but it is ok.
The lobby is nice and clean.
The staff help get taxis etc.
I think the location is a bit eh.
Pros: the rooftop bar is a great option. They made a mojito with muddled mint, fresh lime juice and a FREE pour!! It’s worth it for the drinks and the view. The pool is medium sized, seats are taken quickly.
Cons: when we arrived, we first received a room (1108) without AC in the middle of August!! It was extremely hot, the fridge didn’t work either. We told the staff and first they came to the room and tried to convince us that was the lowest the temp went. We saw the thermostat said 0F and discussed if this was correct. Eventually, they said this was not right and moved us to a fine room that had working AC.
Now for the big issue, we had an issue getting a train from Barcelona and had to adjust our booking. We used booking.com to reserve a room. We called ahead and told them the situation that we wanted to keep the same number of days but shift them out a day as we had no way to get to Valencia. They said sure but please send us the request over Booking.com. We proceeded to send the request through booking.com messenger to which someone from the hotel replied “not a problem, see you tomorrow.” The next day after our first night in Valencia we decided to check to make sure the check out date was moved out one day. Instead the hotel staff said “no we have it here you are checking out today.” Despite getting approval through the app, they were NOT going to honor this, instead they suggested we have to pay an additional 100-140 euro. We called booking.com and got it settled but still had to pay an additional amount.
It’s a decent option but you will deal with issues with the staff members in charge. The staff are decent, I suspect it’s the hotel policy that makes things like this difficult
This hotel made me really not only look for the overall review, which is 4, and look to the latest reviews ! The room smelled like sewage when we first entered that is true
However, when I told the front desk, they fixed it as soon as we came back to the hotel
The air conditioner doesn't work. You will be sweating in the room and unable to rest, especially with the hot weather we came in what bothered me the most is that they have some kinda setting that doesn't make the air conditioner get less that 25 and it took my husband a fight with the front desk to make them lower the air conditioner a little bit
The rooftop pool is nice. we really enjoyed our brief swim
The location is really far away from the city center Really far away
And it's not close to the beach too, so that was weird
It's only close to the oceanographic museum
No close bus stops it will take like 7 mins walk
The weirdest thing of that stay was a guy from the hotel came ringing the doorbell for a long time that we thought it was a fire alarm
Wake us up just to check the fridge and make sure we did not consume anything from the fridge
I have stayed in hotels for my whole life, and not even one star hotels do this
That was really weird and disturbing at the same time for the fact that we were relaxing and sleeping and he kept ringing and ringing until he checked the fridge and then he was happy
Would I come here again
No
Would I recommend it
No
Was it so bad
No also, but it could definitely be better since it wasn't that much cheaper that a hotel close to center or the beach !
To make matters worse, the coffee/tea kit was missing, preventing us from having a quick coffee before leaving. When we called the reception, the receptionist seemed clueless about the room setup. She promised to check and get back to us, but that never happened. Instead, she suggested we go downstairs to the bar to get our coffee.
When we did go downstairs, they refused to provide us with small spoons since our order was for takeaway. Frustrated, we called the receptionist again. To our surprise, she once again asked us to go down to the bar!
I explained to her that our request was simple: we just needed two small spoons. However, she still seemed lost on the phone. We never received any information about the coffee kit, nor did we ever get those small spoons.
At check-out, the receptionist didn’t even inquire about our stay. Instead, she only asked if we had used the minibar. The lack of customer service and attention was disappointing, especially coming from someone in the hospitality sector. Good luck to future guests!
Already planning another visit to Valencia and reserving at the hotel.
Breakfast is ok; well organized even when the room is filled with people.
Our room was quite old and sound of neighbours next door and above can be heard.
Location is great, near modern part of Valencia and close to the river-park
