Novotel Suites Cannes Centre in Cannes

The Novotel Suites Cannes is in serious need of a refurb. Riding the elevator was an experience in itself—think Tower of Terror at Disneyland, with all the clanging and vibrations as you make your way up and down. It’s certainly a memorable ride, but not in a good way.

That said, the rooms are spacious and clean, offering more than enough space for a short stay in Cannes. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for somewhere practical and comfortable, but don’t expect anything luxurious. Rooms come with a kitchen which can come in handy if you’re on a budget.

The location is decent—about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Cannes. However, be prepared for an uphill trek on your way back to the hotel in the evening, which can be a bit taxing after a night out.

Breakfast here didn’t impress. It’s definitely not worth the price, and I’d recommend exploring other options nearby.

Service was fine overall, though the evening team could use some improvement, particularly when handling Accor Live Limitless queries. A little more training in that area would go a long way.

Overall, I’d give this property a 3-star rating. It offers basic, no-frills accommodation, but there’s nothing to really make it stand out. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option in Cannes without expecting much more, this place will do the trick—but don’t expect any frills or luxury.

The room is quite big, but the service is not satisfactory. I booked two rooms for two nights each. When I checked in, the front desk could only find one. It took a long time to check in. The next day, I hung a sign for no cleaning and didn't let the waiter clean the room. When I came back in the afternoon, I called the front desk to help send a few towels and toothbrushes to replenish them. I was actually suspected and said that they had been serviced and would not provide services anymore. I told him the reason and was asked to check the room. Then a big man came and asked to open the door to check. It was found that it was indeed not cleaned, so towels were sent, but there was no toothbrush. I asked him to send another toothbrush, but he still refused and said that the guest should get it himself. It's really speechless. Is Novotel too high? Or...? It's rare to see a xxxxxxxxx star hotel that actually turns its face to the residents
