I had a lovely stay at this hotel in Nice. The location is absolutely perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was a little details – like the fragrance in the lobby –that made this stay unforgettable, elegant. When I come back to Nice, I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The room is quite big. I booked the top floor with a balcony. It is very large and comfortable to look out over the city. The lighting reserved for work is quite poor. I can only move the table to the door of the toilet, where the light is brighter.

The location is very central, just 5-6 minutes walking distance from the city train station and bus station, close to the central shopping street and the Church of Our Lady. Convenient for travel.

The breakfast is simple and not very rich. The waiters like to chat together.

Great location, just a short walk from the railway station. The hotel offers wonderful views from the rooftop, complete with a jacuzzi, swimming pool, and a small gym. The breakfasts are delicious with some daily variation, and they offer gluten-free options. The staff is friendly, and the junior suite rooms are incredibly comfortable. The only minor issue was that some of the kitchen staff didn’t speak English, and when I asked for gluten-free bread, I was served two fried eggs instead! 😀 Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would definitely recommend it!

This hotel needs a reno, poorly maintained. Beds Horrible, not comfy. Shower hard to use. Many, many fruit flies at breakfast.

we did like the outdoor patio- but closed at 10pm.
Location- was ideal for walking.

would I stay here again...absolutely not.

A great 4 nights stay at the Mercure Centre Notre Dame Nice late Sept 2024.
The check in was a bit confusing as we booked and paid for a double Privilege room and we were assigned to a standard twin room. I came back immediately to reception and the swap was performed.
The room was well equipped and the cleaning teams were very efficient.
The breakfast food was average as we have had to ask for replenishment of some of the dishes. The choices of hot food were very limited.
The staff at reception were very helpful to book taxi for us.

Great location. Very close to main shopping street and a 20 minute walk to the beach. The hotel was clean and has a parking garage attached so very convenient. Unfortunately the reception lacked the welcoming vibe you would expect from a hotel. Felt like we were lining up for a bus ticket. No kindness, warmth or keen to make us feel like we were going to have a great stay. The room has a kettle and tea and coffee sachets but no cups. When we called to ask for done the reception told us to go to the bar and ask for some. The was a drinks fridge but it was empty, not even a bottle of water. Very disappointed. There is an ironing room on the 2nd floor which was fantastic. Nicely set out.
Wouldn’t stay there again.

great central location, everything is very easy to reach. The volume at night was also completely fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the manager to the cleaning staff. What stood out was a very young, nice blonde girl from the service on the roof terrace. In general, the roof terrace is the highlight of the hotel; we were there every evening. Overall, a refresh of the hotel would be appropriate

Great hotel. We felt very welcomed by staff, it was our honeymoon and they decorated the room for us and gave us free champagne at the rooftop bar. We found the hotel very clean and comfortable, including the rooftop bar and pool. We booked a classic room, which was well sized and equipped for our stay, with a lovely view of the garden terrace. The bar has reasonably priced drinks, and good snack options (though no meal options). We loved the pool, although it would be great to provide more umbrellas for shade as it was very busy on the weekend, and there were only 4 umbrellas for about 20 deckchairs. Location was fantastic, we arrived via train and it was only a 10 minute walk with our bags, and another 10 minute walk to the tram station which took us to the airport at the end of our stay. Plenty of restaurants and shopping around the hotel.

Though this hotel has the amenities of a 4 star hotel, it certainly does not have the quality. The breakfast pastries were filled w/ flies and served with thee worst coffee ever! The rooms made me cry. I literally cried. I was there to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t believe my eyes. They put us in a room that literally had damaged walls and stained pillows. Not to mention, THEE HARDEST BEDS EVER!!! This was all addressed with management and the best the could do is put us in another room with worst damaged walls with a lot of water damage. The welted walls are caused by the fact that you literally can’t take a shower without the entire bathroom floor getting wet. After every shower was mop duty. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Again, the beds were the hardest things I’ve ever slept on and it wasn’t until I mentioned it housekeeping that we were notified that a pillow tops are available. Mind you, we had been dealing with the manager and he didn’t share this information. So, they get one star for location only. You’ve been warned.
