Hotel Le Saint Paul

Nice hotel almost directly at the beachfront. You have a great view on the sea from most of the rooms and the terrace! And you only have to cross the street to get to a small spot where you can directly jump into the water. It is a little walk though to get to the old town of Nice, one should know that. The rooms were great, very clean and modern, high ceilings, lots of space. The cleaners and receptionists were outstandingly friendly as well. I only have two comments. Even though lunch and dinner are absolutely delicious, really well prepared food, clever meals, the breakfast is lacking options, it‘s just nothing special. However, you can eat on the terrace with an absolutely stunning view! And unfortunately I have to say that the service at the restaurant is just not good. Please train your waiters! Interrupting a speech, taking away plates even though other people on the table are still eating, repeatedly forgetting single dishes, up to simply being horribly rude.

We used the Saint Paul for a cycling tour last week and we were very pleased with just about every aspect of the hotel. The location is ideal, being very close to the city, but on a quiet road right on the Mediterranean. The restaurant meals we had were good and the breakfast was just what we expected from a 4 Star establishment. Above all, the staff were excellent and helpful. We will be back.

A hidden gem in Nice, France. We stayed here during our family road trip, lovely hotel staff, pleasant room with coastline view, safe parking for our car within the confines of the hotel courtyard, and within close reach of the harbor filled with great seafood restaurants. Will be back again.

A good clean well presented hotel the sud rooms mostly offer Juliet balconies facing la reserve and the plongeoir restaurant with views over the port and bay.

We enjoyed a drink on the Terrasse and the barman was welcoming and was able to recommend a drink based on my preference.

Water is available from machines near the lifts so a pre used bottle or canister is best for collecting water rather than a glass or the kettle.

I went there on a Valentine’s Day dinner with my girl and we both loved it. The meat is perfectly done and the service is to the point . The waiters were super funny and kudos to the chef for the chimichurri sauce.

We dined at the hotel restaurant which was superb. The welcome we received given we were not residents was warm & kind. The staff were truly lovely. The food was fine but the wine was superb. This is the first time for dinner but we lunched here last summer. Highly recommended.

Came here for part of our honeymoon, it was perfect. The hotel was extremely clean, plus the location can’t be beat. It’s only a 10-minute bike ride from old town, plus is directly overlooking a stone beach that was ideal for a quick beach day and swimming in the sea. If you are thinking about visiting Nice, would highly recommend booking a stay (with a view of the sea).
