A lovely hotel, ideally situated for easy access to all parts of the city. Breakfast was delicious and comprehensive. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful that I have ever come across. Thanks!
Great location and the staff where very helpful. The family rooms have two beds which is good so can fit 3 people max
I really liked the stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good too. I recommend the eggs!!
Cozy and clean place, breakfast is great. Kind staff. Will definitely come back.
A great hotel in a quiet neighbourhood with good transport links and easy access to the city centre and the football stadium. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we received a great service. The hotel also has a lovely cafe which is great place for recovering after a long, hot day.
Small but cosy hotel. Ideally situated for short stay Easy access to transport links and short walk to Old Port area through artisan shopping areas. Room is basic but clean and modern. Breakfast ideal for those doing a day of sightseeing and travelling about. Staff pleasant and very helpful. Would recommend Stayed for 3 nights for 6 Nations rugby and city break

Lovely staff. The fact that we had to climb to the first floor via stairs with luggage to get to reception was bad. The lift from the first floor up is tiny, barely enough for a person and luggage to go up. Our room was reasonably clean and comfortable but it had a cockroach. I assume that is normal in older buildings but I don't like them.
Hotel is conveniently located within walking design to Marseille Opera House, Metro, La Canebiere and Centre Bourse
Central, Great Value with good service The hotel faces onto one of the city’s main shopping streets, so is very central and convenient. I was granted early checkin on arrival which I was grateful for after a very early start. The room was quirky and reflects the style of the old building it is in. Everything worked ok though and the staff were great.
Location was great. Safe at nigth. 10 minutes walk to everywhere. Room simple but clean and confortable. Super silent at nigth. Bed was confortable. Bathroom clean. Change towels every day.
This is a typical French 3star hotel, slightly old fashioned, perfectly situated in the pedestrianised area round the Vieux Port area of Marseille. What made our holiday was the delightful staff, from those on reception to the Italian student serving breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to chat, usually in a mixture of French and English. There is a flight of steps up to reception...
The room was small but clean and nicely decorated. The staff were really helpful. The bathroom was clean. It was easy to walk out to restaurants. I hope the staff are valued and payed well by their employer

Authentic French hotel on old port, we arrived to a friendly receptionist who gave us an unexpected upgrade to a port view. Room was clear, modern and good facilities. The hotel bar is an added bonus, It dates back to early 1900s and has a great atmosphere, the balcony though small is a perfect location to have a drink, dinner or breakfast and watch the world go by bliss
We have never been to Marseille, so this small family hotel came as a very pleasant surprise. We cannot fault the food, the staff, location and the cleanliness. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. The bar was always full of interesting people and we were delighted by the jazz evening.
Very cute hotel that’s well priced and affordable and in a fantastic location - couldn’t be more central. Friendly staff, great views, lovely bar and restaurant. Room was by no means big but had all we needed and a lovely view of the port. Also nice and. Lean. Top marks all round
Staying in the corner room with its stunning views was a luxurious experience, complemented by exceptional cleanliness, elegant and well-maintained interior design, delicious sweet breakfasts, and friendly, attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, style, and outstanding service.
Great hotel for a stay in Marseille. Really good location in the old port - 250 metres from the metro and right amongst shops and bars. We arrived by train and it was only a 5 minute taxi ride away (cost 8 euros). Staff were great. We booked a superior room with a view of the old port and the view was amazing - good double glazing meant the room was quiet. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and...
The Old Port of Marseille is just outside the window. The location is very good, but the hotel facilities are not good enough.

Obviously a 2 star hotel with cheap prices says it all - Don't expect much. Mattresses is poor. Woke up every morning with back pain. Far away from city centre, so public transport is not possible. You need to use a taxi every time which becomes very expensive.

Excellent hotel and a wonderful experinece
The floor in the room was very dirty( good, that we had our flipflops.
Very reasonable price for the spacious rooms. Rooms are however very basic, dont expect much. No hair dryer, but you can request for one from the reception though they aren't there 24 hours. Check-in was complicated since we reached at 8pm and reception was already closed. There's a self check-in booth but it gave us alot of issues as well. Anyway to fully enjoy your budget price stay- don't have expectations...

The hotel itself was very nice, clean, comfortable, and well located. The facilities and amenities were excellent, and I appreciated the convenience and comfort during my stay. At check-in the night before, the lady at reception was extremely kind and helpful. I asked if it was possible to stay until 12:00 instead of the usual 11:00 checkout since we had traveled from far, and she graciously agreed...
It was a perfect place to stay…….walking distance to everything
A well located hotel and all shops, restaurants are close by. A quiet side street and 5 minutes walk to the metro. The room was spacious, well furnished but quite traditional and dark which I suppose is the style for those beautiful buildings. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. A pleasure to meet after a long journey and nothing was too much trouble.
Clean and comfortable. Has everything you need. Our room AC didnt work so we had a couple warm nights which is disappointing because i booked hotels with AC for a reason.
Very clean rooms and very friendly staff
Very nice hotel to stay. Cleaned. I did not try the restaurant but other client told me it is good.

While our room was clean and quiet, our standard room was small even by European standards. It felt like being in a train berth. A fold out shower in the bathroom made for an interesting experience. Very reasonable lodging rate, but for the money I’d consider other places. The surroundings could best be described as sketchy, although an advantage was that it is located near the main train station
For a 3 star hotel, overall average, very small room with very little soundproofing, shower overlooking a very dirty roof with opposite view so no ventilation through the windows, you must not be claustrophobic, do not take a room if it is on the 1st floor
First of all if using BOLT/UBER to get here, use the lication as 59 Rue des Dominicaines, OTHERWISE Hotel Massilia will give you a wrong kication and you will get charged extra by the driver. FAIR WARNING. I believe this hostel is excellent value. The continental breakfast is adequate - but iverpriced at 10.50€. Nice to have milk with the cereal (Corn Flakes??). Nice baguettes to slice. Some days...
Nice location but a bit dangerous at night. The street where it locates is dirty too but the hotel itself is clean.
Very conveniently located for Gare St Charles, about a five minute walk. 24 hour reception, so ideal for my late arrival. Decent room (with kettle and coffee/green tea) and a comfortable bed. Functional bathroom. Breakfast was okay, but not sure it was worth €10.50.
This hotel was ideal, for what I needed, arriving quite late at night and on my own : somewhere clean and comfortable near the railway station. The staff on Reception were always helpful. My room, on the 1st floor, was fine for single occupancy, but might have been rather small for a couple with luggage. It was great to have a kettle in the room, to make tea and coffee: this is uncommon in France,...

I go there almost every month for work. Advantages -> Impeccable cleanliness, very quiet, the only hotel in chateau gombert. Disadvantages -> Existing WiFi, non-existent connection: more than 10 seconds to display google => quite boring when you want to work, or watch a series / film online.
The stay at this hotel is very nice. We discovered that the rooms were part of the castle, we did not expect it! Room decorated with very beautiful old objects (having belonged to the castle?), While having a bedding and modern bathroom. Trays of convenience very appreciable and the lady who comes for the interview is very welcoming. Magnificent view. Small suggestion: indicate by a sign on the main...

Nice hotel for one night. Clean. The room was tiny, so I wouldn't quite choose it for longer stay. (maybe they have a bigger one, I didn't check) The lady at the front desk was very nice and we were able to leave our bags in storage after checkout and pick them up when we left for the airport. The rooftop bar is brilliant, it has a really nice atmosphere and view. Also great location
Rooms are a bit small, but it’s for a great price, so it’s a more than reasonable compromise. Clean, and the staff is great about cleaning and restocking towels and other toiletries. Very friendly staff, and an amazing location. Rooftop bar is great- amazing view, and probably the most friendly and amazing workers I’ve met in the entire country. Highly recommend, especially if you want a great price...
A lovely great value hotel in the heart of the old port. We only stayed for two nights at the start of our Summer tour of Provence and we’ll be back for the last night too before we fly back to the UK. We didn’t have breakfast as tend...
Nice hotel, awesome staff Upsides were the breakfast offered although we didn't participate, the rooms were quiet despite the proximity to the harbour. Well stocked rooftop bar with great view. Downside were the broken elevator (minor) and the fact how the facilities themselves were a tad dated, leading to some ugly stains visible and a too small room
We travelled as a group and we were delighted with The Hermes. Communication in advance of travelling with Margaux was helpful and efficient. We received a warm welcome and were facilitated with leaving luggage on arrival and departure. The staff were so kind and welcoming - on arrival and night staff also. I loved the staff here they are extremely helpful. The breakfast was ok but basic but a solid 4/5
The room is small, the location is OK, it's very close to the Olympic Stadium, it's not far to walk back after watching the game, and walking with many fans, you won't feel unsafe ~ Very cost-effective
We were very well received at Kyriad. It’s a cozy 3*. The staff is thoughtful and although not everyone spoke English they were always making the effort for the best communication and to make you feel welcome. Good price-quality relationship. We recommend it.
I chose the hotel because it was close to where I was working. It really didn’t end up being a convenient location.
Good facilities and great service ! My daughter has special needs and a wheelchair. And the bathroom was very convenient for her/us. There is the possibility to eat in the evening which is very useful when you get back from busy day. Also a pmr place in front of the hotel
Staff available. We were able to get our room early. Clean room. Practical: Jugs of water are available in a fridge near reception. There is a bar and a dinner menu. Covered and paid parking: €10 per night. The only downside for us: we were hot in the night and wanted to turn on the air conditioning. It wasn't working. The next day, we went to reception. Step into the sunset-lit sea. The environment is truly amazing! It feels like you can step right into the sparkling water from your room, and even the bathroom is flooded with light. In the afternoon, the beach below is bustling with young people enjoying the sun, playing music, diving into the sea, and drinking beer. But at night, it's incredibly quiet, with only the waves as white noise, making for...

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Hôtel les Bords de Mer! Our business meeting ran late and we didn't arrive until well after we'd planned, but the staff couldn't have been more understanding and welcoming. Waking up to that incredible sea view was just spectacular, and the breakfast was fantastic. I treated myself to a massage which was exactly what I needed - so relaxing! For just one night...
The staff is super friendly and competent; the place is clean. However, the Deluxe room we booked barely had space for us to open our suitcases and lacked basic items like shelving space to put our clothes or luggage. You will be happy to wake up with an unmatched ocean view with the sound of the waves but you have to be comfortable in a very tiny space.
The good: amazing staff, the views from the room and good location. We were greeted with a warm smile and thankfully well spoken English and since we were a bit early to check in, also a glass of wine. The view from the room was fantastic and when we decided to go exploring I realized the hotel was pretty close to everything, about 20 minutes on foot. The lacking: the room was incredibly small with...

Awesome little hotel run by a family. Interior is quite quirky but very charming. Bedrooms offer a stunning view over the sea and islands. The owners is very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend it.
The hotel could use a serious update on wallpaper and bathrooms. However, it is clean and the view over the Mediterranean ocean is stunning. Breakfast is simple with friendly service.
Pleasant stay and awesome view !! Positives: Very cordial, thoughtful and super helpful staff :) Awesome view right from your bedroom- you can see the sunrise and sunset right from the bed, well connected by bus, close proximity to a small beach, lot of restaurants near by. Negative: bathroom is old style and just enough for a quick shower, bathtub is too small for an adult. having a lift could be...
Be prepared for more of a b&b atmosphere and a quaint older hotel. Lovely family runs the whole thing. It's a decent walk from the old port, but quite a bit cheaper. Lovely views, though the shutters can be loud on a windy day. It's an experience to stay here, especially for us North Americans accustom to big commercial hotels. Highly recommended.

Basic, shabby but functional. Fairly comfortable if you can put up with the... details. So-so cleanliness. Very Marseille. Excellent location. Honest operation, though. Why not, for the price.
Decent hotel with comfortable bed and reasonably clean and large rooms. Still a bit noisy. Not so because of the outside noise but because of lack of internal insulation. The breakfast is a bit substandard with no real coffee (only granulated coffee). Ok otherwise.
