The hotel is relatively old, but overall it is clean and the guy at the front desk is funny. The elevator is broken and cannot be used, and the spiral staircase is fascinating

The hotel has a good cost, service, location, it is clean, a very good breakfast, super friendly staff, the Styles line is already a guarantee for me. The only problem that its excellent location means that you cannot enter a taxi or uber to the downtown area and you will have to walk at least two streets to get a taxi. I wish they had a safe box in the room.I would stay there again.

The hotel is truly worthy of its 5* rating. The location can’t be beat —sitting on the edge of the Mediterranean and tucked behind the Main Street it is hidden from view and protected from any traffic. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the staff were terrific. Highly recommend!

Great views, very good location, very good restaurant. The hotel needs renovation, hotel staff very poor for five stars. No concierge, no hotel taxi. Very bad value for money, many times higher than the standard of the hotel. I do not recommend the hotel, but I do very recommend the restaurants.

By far one of the very best meals and experiences we ever had. From the moment you enter, you are taken care of by the friendly staff, everything is incredible. The food blew us away, and it’s intelligent interpretation of French Mediterranean cuisine was upstanding. Would strongly recommend and go again.

We had the prix fixe menu on Christmas Day 2021. My advice is to not think of it as dinner. Think of it as an adventure or interactive performance art. We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was big and the balcony very appreciated. The view on the sea is incredible no matter the weather (junior suite). I would have loved more amenities in the room (like a boiler, coffee machine, tea) and a bit more regularity in the services expected from a 5stars hotel (like picking up the luggage upon our arrival for example).

This review would’ve probably been five stars if it wasn’t for the heat in the rooms. The temperature was really warm outside yet the hotel said they weren’t going to switch the air-conditioning on until the 1st of May which was not any fun at all. The hotel is very clean and the location is easy to find. It's a very good stay experience. The attitude of the front desk is very good. Almost every request is met. Hot tea is provided every time you go upstairs. The security is also very good.

I cannot write a review due to the fact I was unable to amend my booking thanks to having booked it through Trip.com Therefore I am now deleting the app and will choose an alternative pathway in future. This is the second time a booking I've made through Trip.com has failed and I've been left either stranded or out of pocket.

Considering this is an ibis Budget hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Great location in the old port area, heaps of restaurants around, walkable to everything. Very friendly staff on check-in. Room was compact but clean. It’s no frills so there is no safe, fridge, kettle or wardrobe. Good value for money. Breakfast was an additional €8.90 but worth it.

Very good price and conveniently located in old port area. Simple but sufficient double room. Locker (paid), microwave and coffee machine in the lobby was a plus.

Definitely a basic room but the linens were clean, pillows comfy, water pressure and temperature were good and pump soap was handy by the sink and in the shower so that was all fine. Unfortunately the TV didn't work and the air conditioner wasn't robust enough for such warm weather. Location is great if you want to experience the “raw” side of Marseille. Very well located around great restaurants , bakeries and public transport. Direct bus to Calanques natura park ( Cassis ) and other places in the city. Rooms and very basic. Not super clean , but great bed and good bedsheets, airconditioned room with fridge. To be honest, we were quite disappointed with how old the room is. The vibe is very dull and even the air-conditioner looks like it was from the 90s. But the good thing is they have their private parking (need to pay another €15 per day) so that we can park our car inside and feel safer. However, I dont think we will be back the next time. The pictures we seen online are totally different lol.

The location is not prime if you are focused on the DuPont/port area. we picked it for having parking garage, balcony, extra room and a small pleasant courtyard. The room is large, clean and well-equipped

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend for the Bruce Springsteen concert, the location was fabulous, right by the port and close to everything. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay again if visiting the areas, thanks.

I stayed here in September 2024. This hotel is extremely convenient to the train station and metro subway - just across the street. Emilie at the desk checked me in and was lovely and very friendly. The room had a nice view of Marseille, the sea, and Basilica. I was given a top floor room by the elevator. The room was clean, furnishings were decent, but I felt like the carpet was due for a change....

Great hotel. We arrived at 3 pm and the front desk manager was very friendly. Recognised my platinum status and offered late check-out which we took. The parking is easy and not too expensive. The room was great and comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly good 👍. For an inclusive breakfast it was the best in a while. Great location right in Vieux Port which is close to all the attractions. About 10 mins walk to Fort St Jean and the Little Petite Train that takes us to Notre Dame de la Garde. Metro station is also 2 mins walk from hotel. It is a little older room but really convenient location.

Nice and spacious newly refurbished rooms, great breakfast and pool areas... We went there for a couples getaway and it was great but during our time at the hotel there was a big conference and they we're hosting over two hundred people so I guess it is a cool place for a MICe

The staff were very friendly, and it was very convenient to be able to park inside the building. The dishes and cooking utensils were well-equipped and convenient to use. They don’t give the duvet for the blanket. Everything is fine but the hotel needs a little maintenance. Hotel has a strict regulation and takes the deposit 150€ by card, yeah they refunded back. Too many rules.

This hotel is way out of town and driving is challenging. But it is cheap. Used to be a Formule1, I suppose. Very basic - pass code instead of a key, minimal contact with the staff. Not any serious restaurants nearby. We ate at a Pakistani restaurant down the street the first night and at the chain "PAUL" for breakfast. If you aren't driving in a car, you won't even be reading this review.
