When my phone was about to die, and I was lost on my first day in Paris, searching for my hostel and luggage- locker, the receptionist was very kind and let me stay and charge my phone and sit with a book in the lounge while it charged. It was 29 degrees (c) outside and the lounge was beautiful and perfectly cooled! 🌤️

Very generous staff and beautiful interior!

10/10!

Again, stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic time. We had a larger room away from the street and even though there were no views it was very quiet and nice having the extra space.
The staff were, again, wonderful.
My review below still stands.

Absolutely loved this hotel in the 9th.

Great location on a beautiful street, equidistant between 2 Metro stations on a line that takes you into the 1st where a lot of the main sites are. It's also a 10 minute walk to the Grande Boulevards. There's a beautiful little green square at the end of the street, about a 2 minute walk. There's 2 bistros on the corner and many more nearby.

The rooms are large by Paris standards and our room looked out over the street and had a little terrace window. The rooms have a wonderful Dyson fan that works like aircon and umbrellas are available to guests if it rains. There's also a good size lift to the rooms - another rarity in Paris.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. And the staff were all friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping.

Definitely going back!

Highly recommend! I arrived late and found the room clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming late at night, early in the morning, and throughout the day. I was able to use their lounge to complete work meetings. When I thanked them, they said, “but of course, this is your home.” They did make it feel like home!

*didn’t get to stop in for breakfast as I had appointments, but the dining room was clean and the breakfast smelled good (made me hungry!)

The location is super convenient if you're traveling to or from Gare du Nord. There are walkable restaurants and wine bars and you're outside of the tourist part of the city so things are a little more quiet and quaint. The biggest downside are the showers are not able to be stood inside of. At least the one we had was just a tub with a detachable shower head at your hip.

Considering it is not so faraway from the centre of Paris it is reasonably good. The rooms are small but clean. Ideal choice for a one night stay business trip. The hotel is located next to Rue Lafaytte. Walking to the Opera takes about 20 minutes. Walking to Louvre approximately 40 minutes.

Loved the staff. My room was great. Location was great. Would recommend and will return again one day! I am only sad I could stay only 1 night here. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Perfect for short stay. Close to Paris Gare du Nord station, so excellent location for travellers i.e. by EuroTrain from London.

4 Stars is fitting rating in my opinion. First of all: for a weekend trip this hotel ist convenient. It's very Close to the Gare du Nord where all the international trains from belgium, the UK and Germany arrive. It takes 15-25 mins of walking to the City Center (notre Dame, Louvre etc) and 5mins to Montmartre. The 9th Arrondissement is great, lots of Shops, Bars and restaurants but not as crowded and very pretty. The rooms are small and a little old but fine as you will not spend a lot of time there anyways. Ours was pretty clean though and even had a small balcony with a pretty view. The bathroom is not great, the shower is tiny and taking a shower while Standing Up is nearly impossible. Also the bathroom will be flooded afterwards. Another thing to keep in mind is that it's and old building with rooms Up to the sixth floor without Air conditioning which was fine in May but I Imagine it could be getting pretty hot in the summer months. The service and staff was great though, very friendly and helpful at all times, they speak english fluently and the female chef also speaks german. The breakfast was alright but when in Paris, I would recommend to skip and and try all the wonderful bakeries instead.

It is clean and near the city centre.Breakfast is simple but good. They cleaned my room every day.
I also got a free boat trip because I stayed more than 3 days.
